Milkshake was rubbish, too much milk, little to no flavour, just cream and ice. The flapjack was alright but could have been better. However, the browny was nice. Also, everything was extremely overpriced.

This coffee shop may be on the small side, it doesn’t disappoint. Every time I come in I get the best service, with the best food & of course the best coffee! Their flat white is absolutely lovely 😊

I wasn't expecting such a good flat white in Yate. Thanks to Ara for making it, she was fab. Seems like a popular spot with a wide spectrum of people: solo laptop workers, book readers, kids and parents, retirees, and other chatting pairs. A slightly odd building, trying to do interesting and quirky but in a narrow, new-build retail park shed. A good range of different seating options and loads of space on the terrace outside. Great coffee is what I came for and what I got, and the rest looks good too!

Already eaten earlier so wr only had coffee which was very good cakes looked great need to go back to try them out staff very pleasant

Would have given more stars but for dogs being inside and on the furniture. Not everyone appreciates animals in such situations. They could be limited to outside, but I guess this is what happens close to a pet superstore. Coffee though not bad.

Cold tea and coffee and a rather stale salmon and cream cheese bagel. Very disappointed as it wasn’t inexpensive. The place is dog friendly and there is an outside seating area. However I won’t be going there again.

I don't usually write reviews but when you ask for a breakfast roll and a small coffee and you are charged £9 you don't expect a tiny roll with a bit of fatty bacon to turn up! What a rip off!

We've visited for lunch a few times now, usually after seeing a movie at the nearby cinema. The food is always delicious, the sandwiches and eggs particularly. The coffee is very good too. It's a very casual cafe, so the only caveat is that I probably wouldn't go if I was in a rush; sometimes it seems to be not very busy but food takes a while coming out of the kitchen. If you have a while to sit, relax, and enjoy a coffee I'd fully recommend it though.

Great friendly staff and good food

Return visit. Absolutely appalling. Asked for peppermint hot chocolate as shown on advertising board. Arrives with no cream asked for cream and she said we haven't got any. Asked for candy canes she said we haven't got any. We were not told that when we ordered or we would have ordered different drinks. Customer Service needs a return.

First time going there had a ham and cheese toasted sandwich and a nice cappuccino atmosphere is perfect for relaxing or going for a quick drink

Have been coming here for years but sadly today will be our last visit. Met my daughter for breakfast. The coffee was cold. 1st breakfast arrived with 2 items missing. 2nd breakfast arrived 2 items missing. Informed waitress who was very apologetic. Eggs very undercooked. Eventually everything arrived but we didn't eat together. Very disappointing 😞

Have visited many times with my dog, we both love this beautiful cafe, sit indoors or outdoors, pleasant warm atmosphere. Now they deliver via Deliveroo so made my first order online...arrived well in time, fabulous. Whether we visit or order online we can enjoy the delicious food from this our favourite place.

Food is always amazing, coffee is incredible and all reasonably priced. A good selection of delicious cakes and the staff are always friendly and smiling. The perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or a little coffee and cake.

I really enjoyed our coffee stop here, the staff were working really hard to keep on top of the orders. I can only assume some were new starters but they continued to have a smile on their face despite some pushy customers with little patience.

Took a long time to serve. Staff went on a break at lunch hour on a busy week day. Happy to put food in a takeaway though and the food and coffee were good. I'd come back and give them another try. Perhaps it was just a one off.

Personally I like this coffee place. The coffee is much nicer than Starbucks or Costa and they do a good selection of cakes and food too. You get more variety/options in the chain coffee places but this is nicer.

I was disappointed with the bacon roll, and I expected a bit more for over £5. Small roll, with spread, 2 undercooked slices of bacon

I will start by saying how lovely the employees are. Always friendly, approachable and welcoming. I have been going to Esquires Coffee for quite sometime now. It is either for breakfast, lunch or just to relax and have a beverage. The coffee there is absolutely amazing with a great taste. You can actually feel the flavour of the coffee in a latte (that is what I usually drink). The food is brilliant! I have tried several items on their menu. I am a Eggs benedict fan and I can happily say that, they make one of the best I have tried. The sweets and pastry are fabulous. Cinnamon swirl is a must try! I would tottaly recommend this place to anyone and always bring my friends here. I hope you can pass my thanks to all your employees. Thank you and good luck in the future 🙂

Couldn't fault this place, the staff make this one of my top places for coffee in my area. There is another place where I prefer the coffee profile, but the staff here are so efficient and friendly, (especially when I bring my baby in), I nearly always come here for my coffee.

I definitely will go more often..fantastic great staff who will go that extra mile 5* plenty of parking and a covered area outside, dogs are welcome inside or outside.

Definitely will not recommend this place for any type of food, unless you want to wait for more than one hour for your hot food to be served totally cold or badly reheated.

The food service is extremelly slow, waited 1 hour for the full english. When it arrived the egs and toast were cold. The other orders were simply lookwarm. Do not recomend

Great place to meet with friends for coffee and a catch up. Staff are really friendly and helpful. It's also dog friendly.

Only two people serving but both were very polite and friendly. Influx of customers caused a bit of a flurry but they coped well. One thing I would say though is that the place could do with a good window cleaner. Very messy windows. Good choice of reasonably priced food and drink.

Looked forward to trying the Tonys milkshake as we love Tony’s chocolate. £11.10 for 2 milkshakes that were tasteless and they’d ran out of whipped cream. Big waste of money.

My coffee shop go to, not enough people know about this place! They have a wide range of dairy free options which all taste delicious, their food is of a high quality and drinks refreshing. Service is always super friendly and quick! 😊

Not sure what happened to this place. It used to be a well oiled machine, but it’s gone downhill fast. Change of ownership, perhaps? Staff need training on the drinks they sell, especially seasonal stuff. Coffee #1 for me from now on.

The last few times I've been to Esquires the service has been dreadful!!! You really need to sort this cafe out before it goes under!!

Long wait cold food but great coffee

Slightly strange location sort of nestled on the edge of a car park but good coffee and a nice range of breakfasts, toasties and jacket spuds - so light brunch/lunch and nothing too heavy. The service was good but the wait for a cheese toastie and a jacket spud was quite long. Nearly half an hour. We were warned but it wasn’t particularly busy. When the food arrived it was hot, fresh and tasty though. The coffee was good too.

Visited last week with a friend. As usual nice coffee & cheese & onion toasted sandwich. Whilst there one of the assistants took a bowl of water outside to a dog. When she returned she cleared a table. I think she should have washed her hands first. I hope the dog bowls do not get washed with the human eating/drinking items. I love dogs but I always wash my hands before touching food/items I even did with my own dogs. This has put me off of here I’m afraid.

We've been a few times recently and I think the management has changed. 1st we went, I ordered waffles. I got 1 waffle and some honey. I've had this on previous visits and it always came with 2 waffles, honey, fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Was very disappointed. The floors and tables were in need of cleaning but there didn't appear to be many staff to hand. It's a shame as I've always enjoyed visits in the past.

I was served by the manager (older lady in own cloths) and both times no manners, no smile, leaning on the counter, and just very unfriendly. Today I paid for a pineapple smoothly and then was told “we don't have any” after I had paid for it..... that was it. Nothing else. No other option nothing. So I asked what other smoothies they did and the manager huffed rolled her eyes and pointed to the board. I felt very uncomfortable and disappointed in my experience here. The other time I went to esquires coffee the manager was interviewing a young girl at the back of the setting area. After the girl left the manager and other colleges we mocking the girl who had been interviewed in front of the other customers. Very unprofessional!

Nice coffee, poor quality food and slow to cook somthing has changed couldnt quite put my finger on it, disappointed to say the least! you can take your dog in - on the small side

Lovely place, good coffee and cakes and friendly staff. Inside seating can be a little sparse, would be nice if the outside seating was heated but it is undercover which is great.

I know it is very popular but it is not for me. Uncomfortable chairs, draughty, too many yapping dogs and noisy children. Coffee is nice tho.

I live In Bristol. But my best friend of 52 years lives inTidbury Green. But we always come to Dickens Heath and pop in. I find it very relaxing. Good service and very lovely staff.

First visit and I had a cappuccino, but it was very light, almost felt like it was just milk. If would be another visit, I will choose a double shot of coffee, but that means extra money just to make it a normal cappuccino like in other places, so...

Excellent coffee and outstanding food. Not many places do a great Eggs Florentine but these guys know what it's about. Hollandaise sauce is the best I have had, poached eggs to perfection and really nice bread. Also poached eggs on smashed avocado on toast was to die for, nice touch with the sliced tomato and chilli flakes too. Cannot recommend enough. They do a nice strong Cortado too. My favourite place for coffee.

Never realised this was a franchise, part of a national chain committed to fair trade. My wife had a pineapple smoothie which was lush and I just had a can of peringola lemonade. Will be back again.

Honestly I can't speak more highly of the place. I really like it here and is the best coffee shop on the centre. The hot chocolate is a personal favourite of mine now and I'd be surprised if either Corrine or Amelia wouldn't be able to choose something from the menu themselves that I would enjoy. I do go a lot! Always such a lovely team and nothing is to much trouble for them! Will defo come back! 😍 Shame it was closed yesterday ...!?
