Seems to be an ongoing issue when ordering fruit, something to be mindful of if ordering breakfast with fruit attached

Great prices in a nice environment with a wide variety of drinks and food choices

As usual, the food was good beer inexpensive and a good atmosphere

It was our first visit here, the woman who served us was extremely pleasant, the food came fast and was hot...we went at dinnertime and there was a friendly atmosphere.

I mainly use Thorns Farm for a cup of tea and meeting my friend on a Thursday .Occasionally I will have their delicious breakfast or , equally delicious,their ham,egg and chips .What I most love about Spoons,is that women, like me can go in there on their own,and chill out with a phone or book and a cuppa,and not feel self conscious or pressurised in any way

Had a disappointing experience at the pub. Despite ordering both drinks and food from their kitchen, they asked us to leave because we brought a Happy Meal for our child with a special condition who doesn't eat their menu items. Ridiculous policy, and the lack of understanding left a sour taste in our mouths.

The food was great, but because one of us forgot out ID (despite all the rest of us being 20 or older), one of the younger female managers was incredibly rude to us and was making it uncomfortable for us to enjoy our meals while spying on us the whole time. Our night was ruined because she couldn't help but act all authoritarian on us. However, the older lady who was primarily serving us was lovely and apologised for her behaviour, so kudos to her for picking up the pieces for us.

No complaints at all,, What you would expect from this sort of place. Food was good and hot ,tasty , well cooked,,busy place , expect noise and bustle , ideal for a lunch after shopping..

Been in here once before only for a coffee was very busy ... this time had some food but when we sat down the table was filled with plates and empty glasses from previous eaters ... someone came to take the plates but didn't come back to get rest of glasses and anything else left on the table ... being in there previously I had seen other customers get their own knives and forks so I grabbed some on the way back from ordering to be told by a very abrupt young chap it's not what we do here !!!!!I told him I've seen other people get their own so I thought that's how it worked ... he said to kindly not do it next time !!! I won't !!!

A busy Witherspoon's pub located in the shopping centre. Good quality real ale at a very competitive price point.

Lovely friendly local. Food was quick and hot. Cleaned our plates. Service was friendly and staff cleaning the tables were mother and daughter who worked quickly at clearing old plates.

Good food and good value for money

The food is good, but the beer is not brilliant,it is rather mainstream. I have been a member of camra for 10 years and there are better pubs. I have spoken to a bar manager and have given a few pointers in how to improve the ales. They seem to have taken my advice, they have had some interesting beers recently. There have some great beers, but the older cliental, don't stray from what they know.

A lovely clean comfortable Whetherspoons, the food was terrific. I had a pizza, which was delicious, my colleague had the chicken tikka masala which again was very very nicely cooked and tasty

Another day , another Spoons,getting to be a habit! Only a coffee run this time so no big surprise, cheap, hot and available. Not my favourite Spoons but the only one in Yate so it was fine for what it is.Outside area very clean and well laid out, the staff a little slow l opine when waiting in line ( no bad poetry intended here) but a minor issue and it's noticed that they all do their respected roles with courtesy and efficiency.l will obviously use it again as any issues are minor and l am only trying to give a balanced review here.We would be a poorer community if we didn't have a Spoons conveniently near,although my nearest one is approximately 4 miles away, my personal cross to bear.

Have been to this spoons many times and have always found the staff really helpful amd good at their jobs! You never have to wait too long and they usually get everything right!

Nice food but it's a shame that it is brought to the table only just warm not hot, I have to rush to finish it before it gets cold which spoils the whole breakfast.

You get what you expect. Yate has been lacking a pub close to the Shopping Centre since the White Lion closed. It's not the Ritz but in "Spoons" tradition, its affordable drinks and decent food. Also with tradition the toilets are an endless walk up two flights on stairs. Cannot fault the staff, always go out of the way to provide customer service.

I'm not going to lie, this is where I get my favourite pizza. I am in no way easy to please when it comes to food, (which is hard to believe when I say my favourite pizza is from spoons). The spicy meat pizza is on the border of perfection, the size could be a little bigger, but on my less hungry days, it's perfect. On top of that, there is a lady here who has gone above and beyond. Taking time to help us out to move to a bigger table so our baby would be more comfortable.

Only bad thing is why only have one member of staff working the bar when it's so busy????? Makes no sense!!!!

Very quick service even though it was very busy. Hard working staff never fail to deliver every time here.

You know what to expect from 'Spoons but I was a little anxious about a post Xmas visit for breakfast on 27th Dec. Needn't have been. Coffee cups arrived within 3 minutes of ordering via the app, six breakfasts, including my own excellent Eggs Benedict, all arrived just 5 minutes later. Toilets and dining area all very clean. Staff busy, diligent and still with time for a smile.

Usual spoons food and drink, loud bustling atmosphere as is to be expected. Only due to being in Yate....you have the weird webbed feet locals there. Probably the best cooked steak I've had in a Wetherspoon to be honest; really tender, good griddle marks and exactly the level of rare that I enjoy at home. Usually it's one end of the scale or the other in chain pubs ....either too rare or too over. Keep it up chef

Never have to wait too long for food , even when busy. Pleasant staff & good size portions. Great that you can have more coffees at no extra charge & such a low price. Shame other pubs/ restaurants can't do the same.

Usual Wetherspoons menu not expensive. As a vegetarian plenty to choose from.

Saturday evening run out of beef burgers no eggs for the mixed grill no spicy meat or pepperoni for pizza s poor bar service as had to wait to long staff ran ragged unable to keep up with the service requests 😒

Just off the main square in Yate. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and good quality, very reasonably priced food and drink.

This Wetherspoons is great, the staff always seem very helpful if you need anything. The ease of being able to order on the app is a bonus and the food is always spot on and of good standard, well cooked and what you would expect from a wetherspoons. Food is really good value for the good quality they provide. The inside is kept clean and well maintained and having the outside eating/drinking area is handy.

Standard Wetherspoons pub. Good selection of beers and ciders and the microwaves are always working overtime of pumping out the standard foods, ordering through the app is quick and easy, the toilets are always very clean although they are a good hike from the bar so best pack some walking shoes. the clientele are shall we say "interesting!" Staff are always friendly

Great prices on the drinks. Food service could be much better. The food flys out too quick in my opinion. We were a table of 5 and three of us had issues with out meals. Wrong items / Lacking something etc. Slow it down a tab and make sure each dish is correct. Other than that . It's a Wetherspoons. You get what you pay for don't ya 😜

Only popped in for one, plenty of beers and lagers to chose from, food served throughout the day. Staff very friendly. The loosare upstairs, well it is a Weatherspones pub. 😊

Another good meal and pint from spoons, although the eggs could have done with a little more cooking, not keen on runny eggs (yolk ok but not the white)

Excellent Wetherspoon pub in the Yate town centre with all the usual value for money getting near time for a renovation but still good quality with friendly service. Easy parking in town centre, Tesco or Lidl.

Food was just your typical weather spoons. The pink ipa I drank could of done with a line cleaning before the shift or wasn't flushed through fully. Had only a slight after taste.

Less than Average. Impolite staff. No Eye contact no please. Thanks. Etc. Price poor for service in addition to food cooked and left to get cold on cold plate. Only hot item just cooked sausages on the mixed grill. 6 months since I last visited. May be much longer if at all before I try ordering a substantial meal again.

Just went in for a coffee and cup of tea, cost £2.40 and that was for refills as many as you like. Sat outside in the sunshine, good atmosphere. Very polite and helpful staff.

What can I say apart from reasonably priced place for food and drink of which is always high in standard and quality!! Always clean and tidy and the staff are more than welcoming!! Keep up the great work
