Been here for lunch and evening meals. Very happy, friendly staff. Food is always great. Love the bannoffe pie. Have had pizzas and pasta dishes here. Have also had takeaway pizzas.

Super service, food and lovely atmosphere. I've been taking friends and family here for a while now and it's definitely our go to venue for an evening out.

We have been here a few times now. Had pizza, risotto and pasta dishes, all were excellent. Tonight we had bruschetta, a salmon dish and a bass dish, finished with a chocolate mousse and a Affogato all was excellent. My husband doesn't usually go for fish dishes, he thoroughly enjoyed it.. as did I.

Just not enough for meat options. Overall was good

Had a meal here for my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, and all of the staff were really friendly. They even put a candle on my dessert and all gathered round the table to sing Happy Birthday! A really lovely place and we will definitely be back.

A great place to eat out. Service was excellent, can’t fault it at all. We went earlier so a good atmosphere, would have been good to have a little music but this is a personal option. The food was amazing. Portions very generous.

Not a great menu for vegetarians, wanted a taste of Italy ended up struggling to find anything on the menu that was suitable.

Went for a spontaneous dinner, I had a pizza, my husband had a calzone. My veggie pizza was lovely and the calzone was huge! Only thing I would say is that the caramelized onions are very very sweet and we both had to pick them out as it got a bit sickly towards the end but that's our taste buds fault! Fantastic service, great atmosphere and very nicely presented drinks. We will be back!

Phoned up for a last minute birthday meal. Accommodated us no problem staff were incredible and very attentive throughout. Food was fantastic they even brought out a special pudding for the birthday boy and all the staff gathered around the table and sang happy birthday. Would highly recommend and will be going back again.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Visited for my nephews 50th birthday. They could not have done more to make us welcome.

Not impressed at all. Sirloin steak was like leather and the extra pepper sauce was quite bland. The cheesecake was so thin it was more like custard. On top of that it was so noisy upstairs, it become unbearable and we were glad to leave. For an £80 meal, I expected much better and will not be returning. Very let down.

The staff looked after our party of eight with attention and patience. The good was very good.

The food is lovely but a bit rushed. The pizzas are quite salty and the bolognaise is a bit dry. The staff are lovely a bit more care with food and I think it would be great

Had the 2 course lunch menu yesterday and really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and exceptionally good service. The food was fresh and authentic and I will definitely be returning again soon.

Very good, homey Italian food, reasonable prices, comfortable and very clean environment. Had a brushetta, spaghetti bolongnese, spaghetti carbonara and pizza romana, all tasted authentic. Gonna go back to check for other mains and dessert next time!

Unbelievable. This was a phenomenal find. We popped in on the off chance. We were greeted by the nicest man who showed us to a table. He was helpful, polite, natural and charming. He was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help my partner with her gluten-freeness. I ordered a carbonara (which goes into my top 3 carbonaras of all time list) I'm not sure what my GF ordered, she ate it so quickly I barely saw it! This place was about 40 mins from our house but we're making plans to return as soon as possible.

We, as a family of four, had a wonderful meal at the ' Antica Roma Restaurant '. Nothing posh but great Italian food in a lovely restaurant. We would highly recommend and is on our list of restaurants to revisit.

Me & the wife really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious, we didn't have to wait long once ordered either. Our waiter was fantastic & the cocktails were amazing!! The place has a warm & comfortable setting & had a chilled atmosphere I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Good new Italian, food was as expected. Decent but unfortunately had overcooked salmon in the rossoto. However my parters grilled salmon was lovely! Great banofee pie too

A recent visit for the first time to this restaurant on a weekday evening was great. I booked via the website form and got an email reply very quickly confirming the reservation. On arrival, shown to a table and offered a selection of positions in a nicely laid out restaurant separated (by the design of the building) naturally into 3 main sections. Quickly served drinks and then shortly afterwards order for starters and main course. All the food was fresh, piping hot and delicious. Finished with coffee. A great location, good free parking and great food and service - fully recommended!

1st time visit and it is great to see the transformation from a pub to the Italian restaurant. The layout is great, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A wide range of meals to suit all preferences. I would say the food was cooked to order and fresh and full of flavour.

Not being from the area and the fact it was around 8:30 we tried to get food in the two "big chain ' pubs thinking their kitchen opening times would be reliable and would closed at their advertised time. However we were turned away from both. As it was "to quite " Driving past we thought we would pop in but we didn't have high hopes of being served. However what I actually walked into was a warm welcoming environment. Happy and professional staff and absolutely delicious food ( one of the best gluten free pizzas I've ever had ) There was no issue that we walked into the restaurant close to closing time. It was an all round delightful experience and will definitely be coming again when we are next in the area
