Afternoon visit to this very busy tearoom. We shared a savory cream tea, 2 cheese scones with cream cheese and onion chutney plus another pot of tea and a generous slice of, Dorset apple cake. The scones were warm and lightand combined with the cheese and chutney was delicious. Apple cake moist and spicey. The leaf tea was good. Service was efflcient and friendly.

just had to pop a review on here for our experiences at Old Harryâs bar. My parents and sister were visiting for the week and we were staying very near to this âhiddenâ gem. From the very warm welcome, to the smell of pizza and a good G&T (or 2) we spent 2 lovey evenings playing cards, chatting and relaxing. My dad enjoyed his pint. Great ambience, music to listen to but still hold a conversation in the cosy but spacious bar we felt great. Highly recommend. What an asset to Studland village

Went to one of Christianâs tasting Tuesdays with my sister and didnât know what to expect. He was testing a new menu and it did not disappoint! Fantastic quality of food paired with great conversation. A really special experience and would highly recommend to anybody with a love for food.

Had to travel through an antique shop up flights of stairs but this gem was hidden at the top. Opposite harry ramsdens on the corner. It is easy to walk past. Gluten free coeliac friendly cakes - I had choc and banana and it was melt in the middle ecstasy. Could also have things like chips - we all know in the community how just a portion of safe chips is everything. Prices are so cheap too. They definitely underprice themselves I felt. Also knowledge of local area for great food options :)

I visited the legion with my nan, sister and daughter. We each had a starter and main meal. My daughter had battered cod and chips, which she throughly enjoyed. The food was very nice and presented well. Waitress was very friendly and helpful đ thank you for a lovely evening. Glad we booked it.

Great spot for a drink after a day at the beach, fabulous views across the bay. Service is good and the prices are reasonable.

Finally.. somewhere in Swanage with real taste! The Sandwich Shed is a hidden gem. Run by a lovely couple who have crafted a small and delicious menu, made up of gourmet sandwiches. All on homemade focaccia, my favourite was the BBQ beef brisket served with sauerkraut, smoked cheese, crispy onions and homemade black garlic sauce. Accompanied by some freshly cooked skinny fries and smoky âshedâ slaw and a drink from the pub in which the SS is situated, there is nothing to fault. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys home cooked, quirky food.

This bakery has changed hands and it is nice for the village that it didn't close. The shop looks very smart and the range of products are different. We were buying cakes & pasties for lunch for 7 people, so tooka little time choosing Hiwever the lady with the grey hair who served us wasn't very friendly, when we asked about a particular cake she said " I don't know I don't eat them'" A younger lady woth dark hair was bringing our some more cakes, she smiled & said Good morning and spoke about the cakes she had bought out - a credit to the shop.
