We love visiting Swanage and have found this gem of a place. We first went here in the summer and enjoyed fresh crab baguettes. The food is excellent with fresh produce and a great choice. This time we had granary baguettes freshly made with ham, salad and chutney. They were delicious. The owners are very friendly too. We will definitely be back for more. If you fancy something different from pasties or fish and chips then the Purbeck deli is the place to go.

Amazing little deli in the centre of town. Park up and take a walk to it. Lots of Dorset cheeses, meats, chutneys etc. Recommend the Dorset blue and brie! The chap serving us from our home county of Essex was cheery friendly and very knowledgeable about the area in general. Get there early before all the locals buy everything!

Much appreciated peaceful break for afternoon refreshments after a long walk on a sunny day. A tucked away gem on the edge of Studland. Great scones! Made us feel very welcome and a big thank you to the staff for putting us on the right foot path back to Swanage.

63 East StreetLovely pub, perfect place to stop for lunch on our way home from Studland. Varied menu with lots of choice, staff were really friendly too. Dog friendly with a big garden.

South StWe always like to support local community groups and after walking round Wareham, i walk with a stroller and found the cafes either full or with steps so not to good for me, just as we were about to give up, i spotted the local church community cafe, where a lady showed me a lift to get in. Me and my wife both had a ploughmans whilst my son with autism had 2 pieces of homemade cake. Everyone was very friendly and if in Wareham again will definitely pop in
