After a walk at Studland, we went to Manor Farm Tea Room hoping for lunch or at least a pot of tea, only to find it unexpectedly shut again. This is our second attempt to visit recently, both times closed! Very disappointing after reading the good reviews and looking forward to the apparently delicious food. maybe next time......

I can’t comment on the cream teas here as we didn’t get one. Following recommendations on line I checked if they were open. There website said they opened at 11am so off we went, only to be met on arrival by a sign telling us they were closed until the 18th September. Has it never registered with the owners that it might be a good idea to change the website to let people know they on holidays and closed!!! What a waste of space they are. I can only suggest that if you intend to visit, ring them first to confirm, but don’t necessarily believe it.

We found this little tea room by a search, didn't know what it was like...very surprised, lovely scones, quite little place and very warm welcome by the staff. Get some cakes to go too! As they looked so GOOD. What a gem, we don't make a habit of leaving reviews, but we thought we should. The couple from Norfolk😉

Lovely tea shop in Studland. Very friendly with plenty of seating insid and outside. Excellent tea and coffee. Cream teas and ice creams looked good too, though we didn't have any (this time - we'll be back!). And for fans of vintage farm equipment, the collection of well preserved old tractors in the open barn is a bonus!

A little oasis on a busy day in Studland. Found on trip advisor, this was a real gem of a find. I can’t praise the service or food highly enough. I had the savoury scone with cheese and chutney, and my sister and I couldn’t resist sharing the Jaffa Cake after. Absolutely delicious!

What a fabulous find this was! Delicious cream tea - light scone, generous portion of jam and clotted cream, good pot of tea with an extra pot of hot water. Just perfect. Excellent choice of cakes that were equally delicious, moist and fluffy. Good range of cold drinks too. We enjoyed the outside seating in the farmyard courtyard area but indoor seating also available. Tubs of water out for the dogs and Scoops doggy ice cream that our dogs certainly appreciated. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

What a lovely place hidden away in the countryside, it was such a lovely experience we came back 2 months later.(we travelled from Bristol) Home-made sandwiches, cakes, quiche, and scones but no chips. Lots of local tea's for sale to take away. You can eat inside a converted barn where the atmosphere is very warming, or you can eat outside in the courtyard which is a must when the sun is shining and be entertained by the swallows and housemartins going about their daily business. The service is good. However, be patient at busy times as this is a small family run affair and doesn't employ lot's of staff.

Hidden gem, saw a sign on the walk back from seeing Harry's Rock and thought we would give it a go. Even though they were short staffed and the waitress came over when she could it didn't feel like we have waited ages to get our orders in. The food came so quickly, so fresh and great portions too. Lovely well decorated barn and such a lovely place to come. Waitress who served us was so friendly and chatty however on a professional level talking about and moaning about other customers to a high level of detail could be minimised and left on the low. We only thought it on reflection and thought more professional interaction would be better received across all customers.

Haven’t ever posted before but really felt the need to do so this time. Was so looking forward to a cream tea after a long trek over the coastal path. Really disappointed with the cream tea at Manor Farm today. The clotted cream was hard and therefore broke up the scones when spreading it - when I dared to comment about this to the lady I got a very frosty response about clotted cream always being quite solid as if I had never had clotted cream before. I didn’t dare say that the scones should have been at least slightly warm (which would have helped) but they were very underwhelming and the jam tasted very cheap. Never good when owners can’t take any sort of criticism. The tea and fruitcake were good at least but wouldn’t return.

How refreshing to find a proper tea room in a converted barn adjacent to a farm. The cream tea is lovely with jam, two homemade scones and clotted cream and a pot of tea for £5.50. The homemade cakes (baked by the farmer's wife) are amazing especially the lemon drizzle cake. There is outside seating as well as inside the barn - where you can enjoy lunches, cream teas, ice creams and hot or cold drinks. Such a quaint place that brought back childhood memories of visiting with your grandparents. Studland village is unspoilt and straight out of an Enid Blyton book...love it.

The Scones (8) were delivered in a basket plus we two large dishes per couple of clotted cream and strawberry jam (unlike places we have visited recently where if there are four of you the cream and jam are served in one dish for each to be shared between the four of you and I firmly believe that you actually get less) in fact we were all able to have very generous coverings of both (my sort of cream tea).

Fab food for my sons party...at a great price. The staff couldn't do enough. Great location. There was enough food to feed hungry bellies and it was delivered hot and at the time requested. Well done!

Bloody brilliant. Food and ambience superb. Service with a smile. Superb plaice and monkfish Thai curry. The desserts are all made by the chef. We had a pavlova but look forward to coming back for the chocolate torte. Very underrated restaurant of the highest echelon.
