5* Food, service and great portion sizes. If you are sick of Fish and chips This is the place for you. Lady was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic Cafe! Friendly service with a great menu mixing British Cafe classics with a some Turkish dishes to add variety. All perfectly cooked - the chips were a thing of beauty, crispy/crunchy and golden and fluffy inside! Thoroughly recommended and we went out of our way to visit again on our last day.

This place is now called Hideaway cafe. Reasonably priced with a large menu. Smaller breakfast was OK, sausage was unimpressive and they forgot my tomato, but you get what you pay for, don't you? Tea and coffee was fine. Dog friendly. See photos added.

Always good for a selection of breakfasts . More recently good interesting lunch choices . All my choices have been very good .

Lovely food and well priced. Had the all day breakfast (comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, beans, toast and a choice of tea or coffee) only cost me £9.90 and the staff were friendly and service was prompt!

Best cafe in Swanage by far. Super staff really good food at sensible prices when you are feeding lots of kids. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. 10/10 for everything. Will be sadly missed when we return to Ireland 😭😭😭

My husband and I had breakfast here every day throughout our short stay in Swanage. They have a choice of breakfasts and provide a tasty all day breakfast for the late risers. We would definitely eat there again when we return to Swanage.

If you're looking for a place with great food friendly staff and low prices this is the right one. You get what you see on the menu, it's great portions and just all in all a great place. Our meal today was an omelette and an avocado toast with poached eggs and hot chocolate which is also really really good here.

Popped in to grab a snack while we were walking around the town. Good friendly service, and couldn’t fault the lunch & prices. (Toastie was very nice) Very good value & the chap running the cafe could not have been friendlier. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t, it’s a good old fashioned cafe in a British sea side resort - give it a go.

OK cafe best thing is it opens 7am when the rest of the towns cafes can't be bothered to open till mid morning

Average cafe on the high Street of swanage. Full English compares of two deep fried sausages. Two eggs beans and to fatty bacon slices. For about £9.50ish Nice clean cafe. Staff/owners were very friendly and helpful

Called in for a breakfast and pleased we did. Decent menu options, good coffee and reasonable prices. Food was well presented and good quality, little things like branded sauces not cheap alternatives make a difference.

This cafe may be small but many local people go there which is a very good sign. The breakfast that we ate was lovely, the staff were polite, friendly and the cafe was clean and tidy so what more could you ask for. Better than many other places that we have visited and good value for money.

Ting cafe in the middle of the high street so honestly expected middle of the road here. Nothing could be further from the truth!! Turkish owners are lovely and welcoming,however the true gem here is the girl with dyed hair who literally does everything!! Been there 3 times this week as this girl is a whizz on the coffee machine for a start ( it is by far the best in Swanage) but through our visits we saw her under pressure but cooking,cleaning,serving,washing up and she clearly knew how to cater for customers with additional needs without question,thats a special gift and then giving all customers the same level of attention.... she's a gem and far far better than what we remember from last year.

Went for our last cooked breakfast this holiday and we're pleasantly surprised by great food and amazing service.

Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. We had a big breakfast with cold drink, and an all day breakfast with coffee. Asked for fried bread instead of toast, this was no issue at all. Food was served promptly but freshly cooked, and it was delicious! Definitely a hidden gem. Went in on a whim, pleased we did.

Stopped for breakfast. Busy when we arrived, but still tables free, we had all day breakfast and an English breakfast both were nice. Accompanied with tea and Turkish coffee, both nice. Cooked well and good service too. Recommended.

Had the stupendous Turkish breakfast at the High Street cafe. Lovely people. Great atmosphere. Breakfast included a small dish of honey and cream. Fantastic.

Not a lot open in swanage at end of January! This little cafe served great coffee. One of us had menemen voted very good. Feta and tomato toastie was ok. Very friendly couple running it. Fresh made Coffee was great.

I happened upon this cafe with my parents just after midday during the week. It was quiet but so was the town and they had a board outside advertising kofte and chicken with rice and salad, but also breakfast. It intrigued me enough to go in. My parents are steadfast traditionalists when it comes to breakfast and they both had a ‘full English’ albeit one of the vegetarian. The breakfasts were fresh, large and very well cooked, they both enjoyed them a lot and will be back! I had the menemen eggs which were fantastic. Served in a cast iron skillet, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, peppers, and a little bit of fresh chilli served with a warm baguette, it was delicious! Brilliant cafe and will definitely be back!

Popped in for cream tea 10 minutes before closing and the lady still served us, where as 4 of the others in the area refused us service at 4.30 even though they closed at 5. Scones and service were amazing. Definitely worth the visit

We were looking for somewhere for breakfast and found this stunning little cafe, best full English, tea, coffee, the staff are friendly and incredibly polite, nothing was too much trouble fantastic little gem of a place definitely be going back thank you guys

Good food and friendly service first class

Having just arrived in Swanage we were getting our bearings and also looking for a bit of lunch. We know some of the restaurants from previous visits, but had never noticed this one. We sat at one of the two outside tables, which is a bit close to the road but OK if the traffic is not too busy. The staff were friendly and welcoming and soon took our order. My wife had a Tuna Mayonnaise jacket potato and I had the Kofte. My wife said that the potato was good and I thought that the Kofte was excellent. It was served with rice and salad, which included a whole small grilled pepper, baby tomatoes and mushrooms. It was very nicely presented and very tasty. Just wish we had had room for some Baklava to finish; but maybe next time!

This place does a wonderful vegan breakfast ❤️ My husband also really enjoyed his full English breakfast. Highly recommend.

Great food at reasonable prices

Would 100% recommend coming here for breakfast, we used it most days whilst away. Staff so friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them. My husband tried something different too a Turkish breakfast and he said it was lovely. Everything cooked fresh when ordered. Looking forward to return next year.

Starving after a days diving and popped in for a snack with a couple of buddies. Friendly staff lovely bacon and egg toastie. Whilst waiting saw amazing Turkish dishes coming out of the kitchen and wished we’d bothered to look at the menu properly. Defiantly going back to sample the proper stuff they do.

A lovely all day breakfast in a super clean cafe, free parking outside for an hour, got the papers to read as well...smashing.

As a vegetarian for 41 years I've has a lot of veggie breakfasts and this is by far the best

My wife & I went looking for a early morning breakfast. The only place we came across was this lovely little cafe . My wife had vegetarian breakfast & I went with the breakfast special. Both cooked lovely. Coffee was nice too. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere & the service was excellent.

This is a lovely little cafe not far from the sea front! We had a lovely meal, Lamb Kebab with Rice and Salad, all freshly cooked to order and a cappuccino each!! Very nice and was a good price too!! It did get a bit busy later in the cafe but was still ok!! No seating outside though as no room on narrow pavement!! Good service from staff and friendly!!

Tucked away round towards the pier. Been there many times when camping and opens early unlike most tourist cafes on the high street. Lovely hardworking staff.

Went to swanage yesterday and being a little hot in all our bike gear was looking for somewhere in the shade,and stumbled over this hidden gem of a cafe,which had a good selection of freshly prepared meals on menu,we all plumped for the all-day breakfast at £9 c/w tea/coffee,this contains 2 of everything and came well presented ,cooked to perfection and had quality contents,the place had a nice welcoming atmosphere and a good time was had by all. Highly recommended!

We have visiting Swanage for some umpteen years now, and always fit in a breakfast or two here. Easy atmosphere, good mix of people and well-cooked grub. Recommend you give it a try.

Dived in for some breakfast rolls before a busy day teas coffee etc for myself and friend. Already open at 8am Sunday friendly good value and quick but freshlycooked service. Now the important bit the rolls. Great thick cut back bacon, properly cooked sausages not just dropped in a fryer but grilled, egg yolk just gooey but firm enough for a bap. The roll was clearly from a local Baker and fresh with a dusting of flour. Amazing wish all cafes were the same, will be back. Oh and another customer was having the all day breakfast takeaway let's just say I know what upgrade I am getting next time. 10/10!

This cafe is very close to Swanage beach. We had a breakfast here, which was tasty and good value.

I popped in here with my friend because we were passing while walking the Jurassic Coast raising money for Cancer Research. Had a cuppa and something to eat, it set us up for a few more hours walking. 👍

Great value, great full English, great price. Typical no frills British cafe, right by the sea, and you can't beat it. I'll be back there if I'm in swanage again, 100% certain.

Good breakfast, casual and friendly service. Coffee not very strong, but tastes nice. (Ask if you like strong coffee.) Went for a breakfast, went back the following day for bacon rolls, and breakfast again the next day, so it must be good. We usually go there when visiting Swanage, and we see local people in there too. :-)
