Disappointing ambience. Below average coffee. Didn't have any food, so I can't comment.

Have had Breakfast and lunch here. Both times brilliant

My friend and I visited on Wednesday 14th August on a day trip from Berkshire. What a lovely place!! Everything was fault less ! Amazing fish and chips and the attentive staff couldn't do enough for us ! Special mention to the ' toilets ' I have never seen such a spotless area in a beachside establishment, I had to mention it whilst I was there to the staff as I was so impressed!! Thank you to you all .

Had a wonderful family meal in the restaurant. Food delicious and staff friendly and helpful, couldn't ask for more. We've tried a few places whilst on holiday here and definitely the best fish and chips in Swanage!! Also recommend the prawns! Will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Note: make sure you order food by 4pm as this is when the kitchen closes, restaurant only open until 5pm.

Low grade fatty fish and Chips . Batter full of oursing oil . Paid top rate for poor food disappointed. Waiter and bar service good and efficient but I was at the sea breeze for food .

We go for breakfast here almost every time we go to Swanage, so let's start of with the food, the portion sizes of the food are filling and are very delicious, the food is very good quality and has a lot of effort put into it's taste, portion and presentation. Staff are friendly and this place has lovely veiws of the beach. The atmosphere is lovely and I would recommend going here!!!! (There are also vegetarian options)

WOW WOW WOW If looking for food in Swanage I would definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant it’s an amazing place and the service, food and environment were awesome. This place runs like a well oiled machine with 5 star service. I had the most wonderful egg ham and chips I have ever had and a glass of Shiraz it was an incredible experience and I would definitely recommend this establishment to one and all. Will definitely be going back. Big thank you to all concerned it made my day complete 😊

My friends and I had a gorgeous bacon and egg roll before a day of rowing. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were talking about the rolls all the way back to Kent!

Went with a friend and a dog. Cafe clean and tables well spaced, seating outside too overlooking the beach. Warm friendly service, generous portions and food very tasty and excellent value for money. Also dog friendly and toilets are clean. Would highly recommend and will return.

Not sure what time they close .I think they stay open later in summer months but has a great atmosphere .

Good value seaside restaurant with large portion sizes, best curry sauce I've had!

Had another breakfast (came here yesterday & last year) and got a sticker on the cutlery that said: " Thank you for supporting our snall business". It's details like that that make a dfference. Food was lovely and beautifully presented. They even managed to get us breakfast just as aervice finished! Service is excellent! Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely gorgeous fish chips & mushy peas. Staff very polite. Went yesterday and today for our lunch. Best fish&chips I've had. And had a couple of cheeky vodka lime and sods. Will definitely be going back there when we next come down

Unsung hero of British seaside dining. A case in point for it’s class. Quiet, despite the prominent position, relaxed and tasty. Good batter, healthy potions, kind staff. Tartare sauce could be improved but the offer was appreciated.

Well, what a lovely find after we called in on the off chance of breakfast/ brunch. Great & beautifully cooked breakfast choices (not greasy at all !), extremely reasonable prices, lovely staff ( & thanks to lovely waiter Callum & his excellent boss for looking after my strict gluten free Coeliac dietary requirements). Also dog friendly if you sit on the front patio where some seats are very well sheltered under an awning. Add that you're right on the sea front & just yards from the beach with lovely views out over Swanage bay & a visit here is a must!

Top notch. When you are by the sea e every third shop is a fish and chip shop, making it impossible to know where to go. Anyway we plumped for Sea Breeze mainly because it was right on the front, we could sit on their benches in the sun and look out to see. So pleased we did, Fish & Chips is my go to meal and these were fabulous! Freshly cooked, batter was light. Would certainly go back again

We came here a year ago and this place was one of the reasons we came back. Beautiful crispy batter, great portions sizes and an ideal location. Friendly staff make this sea front establishment stand out. Not to be missed.

Called in here for morning coffee after getting off the steam train from Corfe. Friendly, efficient staff. 4 coffees delivered with a smile, sat outside overlooking the beach. Couldn't ask for more.

Having walked past countless Fish & Chip and burger places along the sea front, the Sea Breeze was like an oasis in the desert. When we walked in we were amazed at what a lovely place it was, everything was impeccably clean, especially the toilets and the tables were well spaced giving plenty of room. The staff were very friendly, and the food was extremely good. If we visit Swanage again, this will be a must to visit again.

Simply the best fish and chips on town. Freshly cooked and not oily. To the curry sauce was nicely spiced. Very satisfying after a long walk with the dogs.

The staff were friendly and generally the food was good but sadly our fish wasn't great. The fish itself was nice but the batter wasn't up to scratch. It also seemed odd that there was a small no kids section in what is itself a small restaurant.

This is an excellent cafe and restaurant, the service is very good, polite staff that engage with their customers, the food is also excellent. Very fresh ingredients well presented. Worth every one of the 5 stars.

My wife and I went here for a fish & chip lunch. Excellent value and impeccable service from the polite and courteous staff. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

We had some friends down for a visit and they wanted Fish and Chips so we went along to Sea Breeze. We were not disappointed ,on entering the gentleman behind the counter informed us that there were on two staff on so there may be a little wait ,we were not in a hurry so we sat down and waited. Our order for drinks and meals was taken and we talked. The Drinks arrived and a few minutes later the food arrived . I had Ham and Chips the eggs were done to perfection , The Cod and Chips were the best my friend had ever had and the Cheesy Chips were the best with Bacon Sprinkles , the Scampi was good as well ,taken all round it was worth the very short wait for such good food. We will go there again as there are a lot of eateries in Swanage but Sea Breeze is living up to it`s reputation.

Excellent food and good value for money. The Sea Breeze special was delicious; fish & chips, cup of tea and a slice of bread & butter (for the obligatory chip butty 😊). The staff are friendly and professional and the restaurant is clean and welcoming.

Can't fault this place enough decided to stop and grab some food with my brother and a dog we sat at the few outside tables ordered our food and coffee. Service was prompt and when the dog noticed the staff got a bowl of water for her

After a poor experience at another Swanage restraunt, Sea Breeze ENTIRELY changed my opinion of the town. Fantastic value, friendly and helpful staff, and amazing food. The dinner was so good that we came back for breakfast the next morning! A local restaurant well worth your support.

We have just returned from swanage, we ate at SeaBreeze on a numerous occasions, the food is lovely the fish and chips are amazing, The staff are very friendly considering there very short staff. On our last morning I witnessed a member of the public shouting at the staff because she had to wait 10 minutes the staff remained calm despite being on her own, I really feel for these staff. We will be returning in September.

Stopped here on a day trip to Swanage for a coffee and lunch. We ordered cappuccino's and sausage and egg butty on brown bread. Excellent! Nice tasty sausages and a perfectly cooked egg. The cappuccino's were lovely and hot and good flavoured. Excellent value for money and great service. You go in and place your order and pay inside which is a rarety these days and the food is delivered to your table. We were sat outside and as the road along the front is now closed along that stretch, it was a very pleasant experience. Well worth a visit.

A good portion of ham with two perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs and plenty of fresh cooked chips. A nice prawn sandwich on thick fresh granary bread topped off with a pint of moretti. Good food at a good price.

I went to Sea Breeze on the 6th May with my husband. We both had the haddock and chips and it was excellent, both the food and the service and very clean everywhere. We will certainly return soon.

Food was delectable and staff were friendly. They have done really well following Covid Guidlines for such a small restaurant making you feel safe. The restaurant has excellent views of the sea front whilst you enjoy your meal. The only negative is That £1.95 for beans as an extra seems too much but I definitely recommend eating here when visiting Swanage.

The staff were phenomenal, such a young team but were top notch, very friendly, polite, attentive and cheerful! Excellent service, excellent fish and chips, right on the seafront, I would highly recommend to anyone.

Great place to spend an hour or so people watching with a coffee/beer. Food good too, but what made it for us was the warm and friendly staff. Such lovely people.

Fresh fish, quick service with a smile, reasonable prices: what else would one want? Had dinner twice, it is a shame they were out of crab. Maybe next summer?

Ate here during eat out to help out. Kids meals were great and our pint of prawns and ploughman’s were really lovely. The fish and chips looked great but after having it for lunch elsewhere sadly we couldn’t try it! Service was good and good Covid measures in place. For being right on the beach front we didn’t have high expectations, but would definitely recommend and would gladly revisit.

Stopped here as strolling past the beach and in a prime location, food was ok but very greasy. Quite expensive for the Portion size but again this is due to the location I guess!. Better fish and chip shops further up the road.

We have been to this restaurant for more than 20 years and have always enjoyed the food and friendly service. Ownership has changed over the years as has the menu but standards have always been high. During my latest visit which was in the latter stages of the lockdown I had the haddock and chips with mushy peas. It was the best cooked fish that I have had in a long time and it was served with a smiling and attentive staff.

After a wander around Swanage we called in the try the coffee n cake deal.We were enthusiastically met by Sasha, who was very helpful, as were the entire staff we encountered. The coffees and cakes were very good value for the price and made for a lovely quick lunch break.

Lovely lunch on the Swanage seafront, good value with a fast and friendly service. I highly recommend the 5 bottles of beer for a tenner.

Doesn't look much from the outside but their fish and chips are excellent some of the best I've had for quite a while.

Ordered haddock and chips from the takeaway side (Wright on the Sea). Swift service and mouthwatering fish and chips, which were probably the best we’ve had. First time I’ve used my fingers to eat battered fish though! Not a problem, but you need to have some wipes/tissues handy for afterwards. No hot drinks available when we were there.

Had lovely Fish and Chips, takeaway of course during Covid-19 at this place near the beach fish was freshly cooked but the chips wasn't I don't think which is why I didn't give it a 5 star rating but don't let that put you off I would recommend this place and the staff are friendly

We ate here the Friday and Saturday night, the waitress was very friendly and welcoming, sea bass was gorgeous as was the scallops will be back in October.

This looked like your bog standard chippier from outside but it was a really nice restaurant inside ,very clean with friendly staff. The food was probably best we had in Swanage. If you want fish & chips come here forget about the other chippies around the area Yet menu is not limited to fish,great pasta , & chicken

Stopped here for fishcake and chips to take away, served by a very pleasant young man, best fishcake and chips I’ve had in ages and the curry sauce was to die for. Have been here a few years ago and thought we’d head back, popped by and my wife wasn’t sure as there was no one in there at 12:30. Went in anyway and had some of the best haddock and chips ever. Lovely tasty fish (which was huge!) with light batter, piping hot and really, really nice chips. Also polite and friendly service from the girls in there. By the time we left it was really busy, so glad we went back and it was as good as last time, will definitely be back next time we’re in Swanage.

Came here on a Saturday lunch time. Sat outside in the sun. Service was prompt and friendly. Good sized portions. Fish and chips were very good.

I now have six favourite chippies from Scotland to the south coast!Really pleased with the food we had, fish really tasty with the batter just right (that's the bit that makes the difference)Chips delicious - crisp outside, soft inside, golden and not greasy.The lad who served us was friendly and efficient.Food cooked freshly to order - then sat out with a great view of the bay.Oh, nearly forgot great value - some seem to charge extra for the view!A pity its so far from Nottingham.....A word of warning - the gulls were hovering around - must have the same opinion of the food as me, but no way were they having any!

I went here for a family meal, I had cod and chips which was ginormous and great value for money. Staff was very friendly and chatty will return.

Had to leave a review for this as it was without a doubt THE BEST FISH & CHIPS I HAVE EVER HAD !Waited for it to be freshly cooked and it was so worth the wait. Fresh haddock in a light and crispy batter and the most delicious chips ever. Light golden colour which were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Am not mad keen on chips usually but these were excellent.Only problem is I live too far away to get them more often. People of Swanage you are so lucky to live in such a pretty place with the best chippy in the land

We enjoyed our sit down Sea Breeze lunch special (F&C, tea plus bread & butter) today. Everything was nice and fresh and staff were more than helpful. My only slight concern was that my fish batter was undercooked but my wife’s was lovely and crisp. Total £20 inc tip so excellent value.

Excellent fish and chips, cooked to order so always very, very fresh. Great that they do Whitebait too. Always a friendly face here serving you, there may be a short wait whilst your fish is cooked but it's well worth the wait.

Early evening in Swanage and many places were shut or shutting. The big name fish and chips place was only doing restaurant service. We were please to find Wright's open. It was good piece of fish, freshly cooked and the chips were good too. What's more it was at a reasonable price. Would use again if in the area.

Spent the morning sitting on the beach. Come lunchtime came here for some chips. They were the most AMAZING chips ever 👍👍👍

Best fish and chips I’ve had in aaaaaages. Delicious. Batter great. Crispy chips. Delicious fish. Kids happy with scampi. Good service from the chubby good-looking fella (who wasn’t that chubby). Highly recommend.

I had just sat down to come and have some fish and chips and a very rude waitress with glasses came up to me and told me to give up my place because i was not allowed to eat there takeaway food from the same place and i got told by a nice waitress that i could eat takeaway there I had to order some fish and chips there Only good thing about being at the resturant is the beach is just opposite with the lovely sea view too Would not want to eat there again

As it was a nice day my wife and I went for a stroll along the sea front in Swanage, we decided to stop for lunch and chose Sea Breeze, we sat inside as you are able to sit outside during the busy summers months. A member of staff gave us a friendly welcome and gave us the menu, we were give a few minutes to decide and then our order was taken, the menu is not extensive as it is mainly a fish and chip take away with a restaurant on the side. When the food was served the portions were very good and the food was hot as well as the plates and also the price was very good.

Right by the Fun Fair & near to the Punch & Judy there is an outlet called Wright on the Sea & Sea Breeze. We had a fish & chips from Wright on the Sea - fantastic fish and chips, huge portions and beautiful fish. The right amount of crisp batter & the chips were crisp. So good we had two while visiting Purbeck for the week.

Nice fish. Pleasant staff. Best really is the seafront location, in the pedestrian area, by the beach, so children can run around outside.

We ate at sea breeze yesterday. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly and efficient. Our waitress was happy to show us cheaper options for meals and drinks and didn't try to push the more expensive meals. The food came to us piping hot and very quickly. The food was tasty and fresh. I would highly recommend a visit. In my opinion, it's the best fish n chips in Swanage.
