We popped in for a bit of lunch and the menu had steak and kidney pie on. So without a second thought, two were ordered. The pie was served with broccoli, sweet 🌽 & new baby potatoes. A small jug of gravy was also at hand. Delicious 😋 and plenty full, all served by friendly staff, who could not be more helpful. I highly recommend 👌.

Situated conveniently in the main street this was the first cafe we visited in Wareham. Initially it was because it was one of the few still open at 4.45 so we sat in the small sunny courtyard with 2 children and the dog, for whom water was voluntarily brought. This was a thoughtful touch. The menu was varied with homemade cakes plus panini and other light lunch favourites. The earl grey tea was good which is always a good recommendation. We returned a further 3 times and would have been more had they been opened Sunday. The cafe wasn't busy, unlike the cafes by the river so finding a peaceful retreat was easier.

Came here last week with my sister and her children. It's a lovely decorated tea room with a good range of things to eat at a reasonable price! There's a small toys box to keep the children occupied which is a great touch to the place. Food tasty and of good size. Staff great and I had a peek at the stunning looking chocolates but didn't buy any... Maybe next time!

I visited this new establishment today with a friend. The staff were very friendly and the tea room itself was lovely, not too crowded like the Starbucks and Costa coffee shops. We had a fabulous sandwich each which came with a generous helping of crisps and a side salad which included grapes and peppers. The sandwich was so fresh and the coleslaw homemade and was delicious. The latte I had was the perfect temperature and very tasty too and all was excellent value for money. Not the mass produced processed food you get in High Street chains, everything was freshly made to order. I give the Garden Gate Tea Room 5 stars for everything. We will definitely be visiting again and I will be taking my mum and sister for lunch here too. Well done everyone and keep up the excellent work

A friendly welcome. Good food that is reasonably priced. Comfy chairs and all well presented in this clean and cosy tea room. A great place in Wareham and to pop in to on a cold winters day.

One of the best meals I've had in a very long time. All food was lovely and generous portions, the starters (cheese souffle and salt and pepper squid) were exceptional, and the tiramisu was the best I have ever had!! Friendly, efficient service and lovely relaxed setting with fab decor. Already looking at when we can come again! Thank you so much.

After a walk at Studland, we went to Manor Farm Tea Room hoping for lunch or at least a pot of tea, only to find it unexpectedly shut again. This is our second attempt to visit recently, both times closed! Very disappointing after reading the good reviews and looking forward to the apparently delicious food. maybe next time......

This is the best pub in Corfe. Beautiful food, stunning old pub with great staff who were accommodating to our small family. Thanks for making our visit so special.
