The best restaurants in Poole South West

Unfortunately after 3 years of ordering a delivery from star pizza the last few orders have been wrong and my kebab or wrap haven't come with what I asked for. We've complained each time and when ordering again we've begged them to get it right and yet still they simply can't. We've complained each e spent a fortune with them but not any longer. It's a simple request which they obviously can't comply. Very disappointed 😡

Visited for Sunday lunch recently and what can I say the food was excellent as was the service. Very welcoming, great atmosphere and what we all liked was that we did not feel rushed. We will be going back and think of booking for my 60th later on in the year.

This cafe closed last year. Has not been open for a long time think Council will be Re Developing area.

The Serenity Cafe provides a resource ( in theory) for those experiencing moderate to high functioning mental health issues. I had been encouraged to go to one of thier social evenings by my support worker. The evening was given over to inane games such as 'identify the sweet' and conducted in a way to discourage people interacting with each other or interacting with staff. The emphasis seemed to be getting the whole awful experience over and done with in the shortest time possible. An utterly abysmal experience devoid of imagination or value. I will go again to see if things have changed in any way and update. David.

Pleasant situation, friendly welcome and good coffee, what more do you need. It was nice to sit opposite the quay and watch the world go by. Would definately go back.

Late review- went to now “Parkstone club” to get a feel as now living in the area. With things a little different to how things were before covid-19 it was a lovely experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, full and clear guidelines in place making you feel safe within the business. There was Table service during our experience this was because of the guidelines, staff seemed happy enough, polite and even the lady chef offered us a Freshly cooked lunch. Drinks were lovely and food was Devine! We will be returning when we can. 5star*

Tiene una notable variedad de opciones para comer, así como el conocido y fiable de café Starbucks. También es bastante razonable, especialmente cuando las visitas tarjeta de fidelidad. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices. Found this place by just walking up the street. Would definitely eat here again.

As a truck driver I’m up and down the country all week and not normally this far south. But this is a Chinese I’ll definitely be trying to get back too. The honey ribs were to die for, soft yet tender and the honest sauce was sweet but too overpowering. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.

Most amazing chips in the world u guys are my fave and always smash it with the “extra extra extra more than necessary lots and lots and lots of salt and vinegar X10000000 :)”

Had this twice in the last month and all I can say is on both occasions..... Chicken was dry like it had either been hanging around or over cooked. Chips were cold and had the texture of cardboard. Milkshake had been waterered down. So all in all very disappointing. I won't be ordering again. It had always been excellent but is now awful!!

Well where to start.... Oh and my.... So on a whim the other half wanted a impromptu date night, and this place did not disappoint! I had the mixed grill with a side of green beans and tomatoes, this was cooked perfectly and all elements of the dish was simply delightful. The staff are friendly and attentive, it's a warm inviting atmosphere and ideal for couples and families. I was that over come I had to have the biscoff cheesecake to finish of my night! To Martin and the team, well done! We will be back to work our way through the menu!

Excellent lunch at The Cliff when we celebrated a relative’s 90th birthday this week. Great menu and friendly staff. Thank you for presenting his cake so beautifully.

Visited this fast food location on Thursday 20th March 2025, with a service user. On arrival, we were in eye sight of 2 female staff arguing. They continued doing this until 1 female employee with a name badge started walking to the counter. She was about to ask our food order when the other female employee with no name badge on said we couldn’t verbally state our order. Had to use the digital screen, even when stated, paying cash. We were dismissed and told to use the digital screen but could pay cash once the order went through. This action caused by staff defeated the positive interaction my service user needed to verbally communicate their order and had built up courage to state their order. The female employee with the head dress came across as rude, very dismissive and unprofessional. What should have been a positive experience was a negative experience.

Poor service, mistake after mistake and the state of the place is appalling. Cold food, wrong orders, the staff could not have cared less.
