The best restaurants in Plymouth South West

I've ordered several times and it's now my favourite for southern fried chicken.

Ordered through Uber eats and after 3 hours 4 couriers had gone to the restaurant and then left again because the order wasn't ready. Ended up cancelling. Really poor service avoid

Amazing breakfast, fresh and hot. Lots of choice with the continental. Staff are all very friendly. Would go back again.

Food is alright, its kfc - so yeah. a bunch of homeless right in front as well as inside on my visit.

We arrived at just before 1800 on a Sunday evening, we were quickly shown to our seats. After stopping a member after about 10 minutes our order was placed. This was for a triple stack sandwich and the stars and strips combo. After 30 minutes we questioned the staff about our order and he chased it up after another 10 minutes the food arrived. During our 30 minutes wait for food cutlery still hadn’t been delivered to our table and although there were less than 10 tables with guests in the restaurant and ample staff as people left the tables were not being cleared down.

A great luncheon out with our Godson and his wife. The weather allowed us to be seated in the conservatory overlooking the marina. The menu was varied and everyone liked something. We all had three courses, absolutely delicious. All meals well presented, generous in portion size, and freshly prepared. Our waitress Rosita was patient for us to make our minds up, attentative to our needs, pleasant and friendly and allowed a nice time in between courses. This venue was clean and tidy, condiments full on each table, superb drinks and we will indeed be dining there again.

Parking is free and ample, i have used this restaurant on many occasions and always found it satisfactory, however my last visit will be my the last time i go there, front of house was a scruffy unkept man who looked liked he slept in his clothes, the food was below average, and the place was under staffed, the restaurant itself is showing its age and the ambience is very poor.

Been here a number of times and it’s my go to pub, there’s a wide variety of food and a great selection of drinks. The perfect vibe for a chilled dinner with the family or for a special occasion. Staffs customer service is 10/10. A very welcoming atmosphere, would definitely recommend! :)

Such a great location shame lack of staff. The young ladies helping were great BUT we waited an hour for food … cold with my 92 year old father ! Spoilt the event for sure … no body came to check on us !

Ordered takeout tonight and all the food was hot when it got here and so flavourful. We ordered beef chow mein which was amazing, the beef was so tender and the sauce was incredible, best we've had. The satay skewers were also a great flavour compared to ones we've tried elsewhere, we also had chicken fried rice, chicken balls , prawn crackers (of which we received extra!) chips, which weren't dry like usual Chinese chips and curry sauce which my husband said was really good (he's fussy with curry too) portions were a great size and we still have enough for lunch tomorrow and will definitely be ordering again! We usually use the same Chinese every time but they were on holiday so tried somewhere new. Looks like they accidentally just lost a customer to Lee Gardens! Thankyou ☺️

Upon booking I did specify it was for my partners birthday and the waitress even asked when we were seated to confirm whose birthday it was. Unfortunately then, despite this nothing at all was done to acknowledge his birthday. I understand there was a bit of drama with a burst pipe upstairs, this affected our table and as there were no other tables free we did need to go upstairs and eat dessert on the balcony. We were kindly offered a goodwill gesture of free desserts for the inconvenience of us having no table. I was just a little disappointed you mentioned about his birthday then nothing came of it. Good tasty although service was a bit slow with some meals coming out much earlier than others. Kind regards Claire

Expensive drinks and plastic in ice cream. I complained about the plastic in the ice cream and was told they would refund the cost of the dessert but needed another discount code. Fortunately I had one but over a week later still no refund. Customer service atrocious. Ironically I did receive an extra sourz with no explanation. When I enquired why I was asked why I'm telling them. I gave up at this point and left. Not bothered returning since. Fir someone who grew up in the area and attended school there it was very disappointing 😞
