2 Staff on a Saturday night in August, yes I’m tourist, but awful

Staff member Andy Nash seems to think it’s okay to shout and scream at minors busking on the Barbican and then post them all over facebook with his girlfriend jade diebelius declaring how bad singers they are not very professional in my opinion they were only busking for fun and to gain some confidence

Very quiet on a Bank Holiday Monday; on the plus side service was quick! Not the cheapest drinks prices but a pleasant enough friendly place. Can't rate the food as only called in for a drink.

Spacious and friendly pub. Huge TV screen blocking of some seats seemed like a weird choice. Can be a bit quieter than further down the Barbican which can be a good thing. Dog friendly. Huge dog biscuits which the puppy liked.

Always heaving on and Friday and Saturday and holidays. OK if you like this type of place

Good range of beers. Multiple screens to be able to watch weekend football games.

Nipped in for a pint with a few mates. Staff were friendly

Excellent choice of beers. Young and very friendly staff. Dog friendly and even very welcoming with dogs. A nice atmosphere, the perfect place to follow a sports match with a good beer.

A long established pub in the heart of Plymouth's Barbican, to be honest it was very quiet for my latest visit during a midweek afternoon, but take note this place can get very busy on Friday/Saturday evenings, usually has at least two real ales available.

Avoid, the fact it was empty should have told us. Beer off & tasted of line cleaner-complained then asked if wanted the same again-really!!

Quiet compared to the other busy pubs, coffee is from a machine and tastes a little weak, however it's nice enough inside, a nice rustic interior, and friendly staff too.

Boiling hot day and you sell warm beer in dirty glasses.

Had a sandwich board outside offering double gin and Tonic for £5. It was a Saturday, I ordered said G & T. Unfortunately I missed the small print saying Monday to Thursday only. So why have that offer on a board outside your premises to lure people in when you can't take advantage of it? Paid £15.50 for two double gins. Won't be back.

Look, it's dated, it's cheap, it's clean, it's on the barbican, nice bar staff what more do you want?

Sports advertised outside so called in to see if we could watch a game on sky sports, was told they only had bt sport. Barmaid was pretty unwelcoming and more interested in rolling up a cigarette than anything else. Wouldn't bother again and I think most must think the same as we was the only 2 customers in the bar.

Awesome, Friday Evening drinks with friends. Do pop in and have a drink in this friendly pub.....

beer I had was not right however the bar manager not only changed the beer but came out to me and explained about what was wrong and gave me a free beer and an apology. well done, that man clearly cares about the quality of his beer.

Long and very busy pub, quick service though even with the crowds when visiting, plenty of ales on offer and cant remember what I had but it was a dark ale which was very well kept, delicious in fact. Recommended.

Really friendly. Outdoor seating on the small side but suited us well.

Good hosting on Euro SF night. Were seated quickly and well served with drinks through the evening. The Salcombe Gold ale was in very good condition.

Loved it , very nice quiet bar ,staff very friendly ,if you go to the Barbican and want smart efficient service without being smothered by drunks this is the place for you ,for a nice sociable quiet drink.

Only 4 people in here while all the other pubs on the barbican was packed... I believe that speaks volumes..

Shocking service beer was flat and tasted off asked the barmaid if i could replace it and she said no . Its meant to taste like that. Awful. We never go in there again .

Been here twice in 2 days. Great little pub with great atmosphere. Warm fire and cards and dominos available to play. Cheap gin and friendly staff. You can also bring your capn Jasper's or other food in to eat whilst you drink. 10/10 will use again!

A long uninviting room with very few customers and mostly keg beer. Lovely barmaid but that's it.
