Excellent food,the only critasism was that there was not enough roast potatoes on our plates,should be at least 4 not 3 .also less meat then than we got when we are in plates to eat.thankyou.

Hello, we had a lovely lunch today Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff ! We ordered two nibbles and two mains The food was delicious and freshly hot We’ll soon be back 👍🏻

Just had a roast testing for Xmas day as we are booked in. First day of their new chef. Food was out of this world. So looking forward to Xmas day now. 100% 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Had a fantastic lunch at The Morley Arms. Had a very warm welcome from the staff as soon as we arrived and they couldn’t do enough for us during our time in the pub. Our food and beverages were fantastic and we will most definitely be returning again soon. If you haven’t been to The Morley Arms then you need too very soon.

Had an excellent meal here today , superb choice of food all at a reasonable price , as were the choice of beverages . Staff were young and of a cheerful disposition , and accommodating . The food we had was better than some of the restaurants we have visited world wide , and I wouldn’t just throw that into the mix without a lot of consideration and soul searching . We were here on a Monday 19th April at lunch time , it was comfortably busy and food was served in a reasonable time frame . We had the belly pork , fabulous flavours , and a credit to the kitchen staff for producing such a fine offering . We will be returning this Thursday lunch to try another dish for lunch , and the wife’s Birthday . The right venue , in the right place with now the right balance and pricing for the food and beverage .

2 weeks ago we had the take-away burger combo which was very nice.....tonight we had the steak spicy combo which was exceptional. So much food and a quality steak cooked to perfection. Cannot recommend this highly enough. Thanks also to George who took our order. He was very pleasant on the phone and happy to accommodate our changes according to likes & dislikes. Excellent customer service & 5* rating!

Tonight we had the “Spice up you Life” grill combo. It was absolutely delicious and so much food it could easily feed 4. A perfect Saturday night treat!

I've enjoy several meals here over the last year. Its a lovely warm pub with good food and amazing service. Staff are welcoming , polite, friendly and can't do enough for you. This Christmas afternoon tea was no exception, definitely recommend to all ages.Was a nice treat to see gifts being given to children this time of year as well. X

Visited the Morley Arms this morning for the first time for breakfast, plenty of parking, very welcoming felt Covid safe with a one way system. All nicely decorated, clean & tidy. Ordered coffee & two full English breakfasts, orders taken by George who was very pleasant & accommodating. Food arrive after a reasonable time considering it was cooked fresh, good ingredients, well cooked & presented at a reasonable price. Would defiantly return if passing & recommend. Thank you team at the Morley Arms.

What has happened lately The food is still of a good standard, so the chef is up the the task but why put teenagers in charge of front of house without supervision Nobody was rude in any way, but no-one had any experience, and no understanding of the menu, so customer service was poor.Part of going out for a meal is feeling welcomed and having a nice experience,We will try this place again after lockdownBut I would urge the management to put someone better in charge.

I attended this pub on a Sunday afternoon with a few friends. After sitting down outside we realised that the staff had forgotten to do table service so we decided to move tables into the gazebo to be served. We forgot to put our masks on to move tables and as we entered the gazebo we were fairly asked by a man who appear to be the owner to put masks on which we immediately did. However once we entered the gazebo we noticed that the group the owner were sat with were up and moving about without masks on from table to table and walking outside the gazebo. I won’t be returning as this place clearly has one rule for customers and one rule for the locals/friends of the owner.

Great old pub with a great modern feel, very clean, good food and very friendly staff. I had the beer battered fish and chips, and you could really taste the beer.

Had the best afternoon today , brunch was amazing ... Sarah was the best waitress... can’t wait to come back again xxx never had to wait for a drink xxxx

Hermoso desayuno en un lugar relajado. Había escuchado críticas negativas, pero admito que este no fue un sábado por la noche lleno de verano. Pero era sábado y era hora de brunch para 4 de nosotros. La comida era excelente y bien presentada. El personal fue muy atento y muy agradable con todos los que entraron al pub. También había oído que era caro, pero de nuevo no era cierto para lo que disfrutamos. Espero volver y definitivamente lo recomendaría

Mi hermana y yo visitamos por primera vez esta semana. El restaurante tiene una decoración encantadora y un ambiente agradable. Todo el personal fue muy educado y atento. teníamos una mesa reservada dentro pero queríamos sentarnos afuera, lo cual no fue un problema en absoluto. Pedimos pescado y patatas fritas y jamón. El pescado y las patatas fritas eran fantásticos, tan frescos y las patatas fritas estaban bien. El jamón también era muy sabroso. Buen vino y todo a buen precio. Estoy deseando que llegue mi próxima visita.

Reservamos el Morley Arms para una reunión después de un funeral familiar. ¡Tomamos el té de la tarde en el invernadero para 25 de nosotros y el servicio fue impecable! El personal (Jess, Anna, Ebony y George) fue maravilloso y no pudo hacer más por nosotros. Se ocuparon de todas nuestras necesidades, ayudando a que esta triste ocasión fuera mucho más fácil y agradable. Gracias a todos ustedes.

Visité el Morley por primera vez en años porque había escuchado que la comida era muy buena. Tuvimos una comida fantástica servida por un personal agradable y atento desde el momento en que entramos. Tiene varias áreas para comer y nos sentimos muy seguros. La comida, tenía pescado y patatas fritas llegó con muchos acompañamientos, guisantes blandos, salsa tártara casera, salsa de curry y cebollas en escabeche. Hermoso pescado crujiente y deliciosas patatas fritas triple cocidas. No pudimos resistirnos a tomar un dulce y ciertamente no nos decepcionó. El sorbete de mango y la pannacotta de coco eran excepcionales, al igual que el postre de brownie Morley Black Forest. En general, un almuerzo de primera clase. Definitivamente vamos a estar de vuelta.

Recibí a varios amigos militares en Morely el viernes pasado y todos lo pasamos de maravilla. La mesa, el servicio y la calidad de la comida era de primera línea. Después de la cena probamos demasiadas de la excepcional selección de ginebras que se ofrecen en la casa de ginebra. En general, fue probablemente una de las mejores noches que he tenido en mucho tiempo.

I ate at The Morley on Friday night. It was a 30th birthday celebration with friends and family. Firstly, the staff forgot to put the balloons on the table we had previously given them and arranged. We got asked to supply a pre-order as there was 16 of us, we did this with plenty of notice. On the night we got given very grubby menus and was asked for our order....despite the efforts of a pre-order. It took 3 separate waitresses to take the order as they kept getting confused. All our food arrived and as we tucked in a friend's meal was totally forgotten about, he sat waiting for his and it arrived when the rest of us had finished, with no apologies. The food was delicious! I was totally surprised! Then the puddings arrived, I had a steamed pudding with custard, as did my friend, both got served curdled/split eggy custard! Yuk! Sent it back right away. Throughout the meal we had to keep asking for cutlery also as they didn't replace cutlery after starters or mains. It's very simple things like this that the Morley lacks that finesse of a decent restaurant. It's a shame because the food seemed relatively good.All the while the night life scene was growing in the garden, very loud music, alot of very young people but also plenty of older too. This was still relatively early (8/9ish). There were two doorman that stop you before you enter the garden, you have to write down your details for track and trace, our table was directly opposite these two guards and it seemed they were only asking track and trace details from random people and not everybody, nor where they asking people to sanitize their hands as they entered. The waitress that dealt with our complaints had a lot to say about the waitress that seemed to mess everything up for us that night, she was kind enough to remove our desserts from the Bill and also offered us a around of drinks which we happily accepted of course. It all felt like abit of a shambles, there wasn't even alot of people eating in the restaurant. It would seem this please should just be called The Morley Bar, it's all people seemed to be interested in there. A shame because it's a beautiful building with a beautiful garden.

Wednesday was our first visit at the Morley, booked our lunch incorrectly but the young lady that greeted us had no problem finding us a seat outside . We really appreciated the breeze as it was a hot day , and the fact she was friendly and welcoming . Our meal was lovely and the wait was minimal even with the govt scheme on . I must thank the ladies at the bar especially the waitress that took the time to check the delivery that just turned up for salmon so I could have my salmon salad. The food is lovely but the true treasure is defiantly the wonderful staff . We will definently be going back again and again .

I cannot recommend the Morley enough. I have been going there for over a year. The food is amazing, as are the staff and the premises. Also I’d like to add that during lockdown the Morley provided a grocery and food delivery slot. This was invaluable to myself and many other families. The Morley do not get enough credit for this. Thanks!!!

We had lunch Wednesday 12th August. Chicken Katsu Curry, Gammon Steak and Thai Fish Cake starter. Slight wait on food, 30-40 mins but perfectly acceptable considering the Gov scheme was running and the Covid restrictions. The staff were friendly despite being under pressure and working in extreme heat. We would return to eat and recommend to others. Thankyou.

It was my first visit to the Morley and I was very impressed. The food was delicious, best meal I've had in a long time. The staff were very polite and friendly, despite working on a busy and very hot day. Will return for sure.

Often go here, in fact it's the Only place since the pandemic we use now.Place is clean, food is great, social distancing is well maintained, and yes I am aware of the issues they've had and, following police advice have put measures into place to stop the late teens, early 20s out to cause problems. They have put measures into place to stop this. Never felt unsafe or overcrowded in their well laid out garden area, inside excellent use of all areas to keep social distancingStaff are polite and willing. Atmosphere lovely, welcoming and your not hurried. They are very good with children and go out of their way to help. All in all 10 out of 10.

This pub attracts large numbers of particularly late teens and early twenties. The crowds have increased over the weeks since reopening and whatever the good intentions of the management it looks very difficult to apply social distancing or crowd control. We came once very recently and quite early but on our walk from the car park it seemed obvious that the Morley has become some kind of magnet for those with little regard for safe and careful socialising. We didn’t stay. We have only heard of the two now notorious police interventions and the promises of the management to follow all advice and instructions. In the meantime we shall avoid.

Best known for the Saturday Night fighting scene now. Shame the management can not control the situation, seems more interested in money and when gets out of control phone for the Police. I would avoid until comes under new management.

What a fabulous place for a lovely, safe and relaxing meal out. We had heard that this was a great place to eat and it didn’t disappoint. Food was gorgeous and service, particularly from the lovely Erin was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

firstly I would like to say I love the morley arms the food has always been amazing and the service has alway been amazing! But we went friday for some quiet drinks and a bite to eat! As always food was fab and all the staff were chatty and helpful! But.. we couldn't hear each other! They had 2 speakers pointing outwards from the tent and they were playing extremely loud music! It is our local pub but worried we won't go again because I feel like its set up now for party people! We left early as large groups of teenagers arrived ready to party! But it was a Friday will try again during week see if its returned to somewhere we can enjoy a quiet drink!

Attended the Morley on a fine Friday evening with a friend. A buzzing atmosphere and fantastic food. The manager called George was very attentive and full smiles which could light up any room. I was also served by a lovely young lady called Ella, she was very welcoming and very professional she is an asset to the Morley as well as George. Although the meal started off with a rude waitress who was not dressed correctly she looked like she was off to the beach not at a work place she had dark hair I didn’t catch her name. Other than that I Would definitely recommend to everyone :)

Does not except Military ID, I am dissapointed in the fact the ID gives you the right to die for your country but not to have a pint in the Morley Arms. Shocking

Today my son treated myself and husband to a meal. I can honestly say it was amazing , it was ordered for 1 PM delivery and it was at our door bang on 1pm. For a Sunday lunch you couldn't ask for better really generous portions and the desserts are just as I impressive. A truly lovely birthday treat during this lockdown

Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que dejé una reseña, pero me sentí obligado a escribir esto después de mi experiencia con el Morley hoy. Habíamos reservado una comida para el Día de la Madre, pero obviamente no podía asistir debido a las recientes recomendaciones del gobierno. Decidimos pedir una entrega del Morley y disfrutamos de una cena asada con postres. Solo quería agradecer al personal por sus esfuerzos en estos tiempos difíciles y recibí recomendar su entrega a domicilio a otros.

Acabo de recibir la comida más increíble directamente en mi puerta en aproximadamente 20 minutos después de haber ordenado en The Morley Bar & Eatery Con ellos (y otros) obligados a cerrar esta noche, estén atentos a su página de Facebook para actualizaciones y disponibilidad de entrega a domicilio! La masa madre y los aceites eran deliciosos, pero el verdadero ganador fue la "Morley Burger". ¡Suculento y lleno de sabor y muy abundante!

I have visited twice, in the last 3 weeks and have been very impressed These visits have been at lunchtime but the quality of the food was very good with a interesting menu The belly pork was lovely Will definitely come back again

Esta es la 4ª o 5ª vez que desayunamos en el Morley y en cada ocasión la comida ha sido bien preparada y bien presentada. Los camareros son atentos y se aseguraron de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos, incluso trayendo un tazón de agua para nuestro perro.Solo he desayunado allí, pero definitivamente intentaré cenar pronto.

He visitado algunas veces ahora y en cada ocasión el servicio es increíblemente lento. Mi última visita con mi familia solo había otras 2 mesas en todo el lugar. . Sin embargo, esperé lo que parecieron minutos para sentarse después de que las dos chicas escondidas en el bar terminaran su conversación. . Me pidieron bebidas antes de que incluso nos sentáramos, algunos de mi familia estaban visitando el WC. . así que le pregunté si podía esperar a que todos nos sentáramos primero, ya que no sabía lo que todos querían. . entonces estábamos esperando y esperando su regreso al final. Me levanté y le pedí que ordenara. . luego pasaron al menos otros 15 minutos antes de que llegaran nuestras bebidas. . Simplemente no podía entender la demora y sin disculpas. ¡Si estuviera ocupado lo entendería! La comida estuvo bien. . nuestro entrante era un buen huevo escocés de budín negro pero la hamburguesa de pollo era realmente decepcionante, sin rastro de aguacate y falta de condimento. . Pero uno diría que es mi propia opinión. . nadie volvió a preguntar si estábamos contentos con nuestras comidas o si queríamos bebidas adicionales. Pero una vez que terminamos, parecían rápidos para limpiar nuestras gafas y presentar la factura. . tal vez nos invadieron en su almuerzo a las 5 pm? Me quedé desconcertado por la experiencia y no creo que tenga prisa por volver.

Called in for a quick lunch midweek .what a difference , welcomed in and given a love table next to the fire.Two superb light lunches and great coffee. This place is most definitely worth a visit any time of the day.

Food very good but service very slow waited 20 minutes for drinks to arrive which continued through out the meal. Staff were apologetic advised didn’t think pub would be so busy but seeing as most tables were reserved it’s not really a good excuse. Overall would come again but wouldn’t rush back

Just been for lunch with my hubby beautiful food lovely and clean food hot to the last bite and presentend beautiful

The restaurant was reasonably quiet, but we had booked for 12.15. The staff were very pleasant and we ordered the Nut Roast, Beef, and Trio of meat. They arrived on very large plates. There was plenty of meat and nicely roasted potatoes and the veg was Mangetout, Red Cabbage, Carrots and Parsnip and Swede, served with a Yorkshire Pud and rich gravy. The meat was cooked properly and lovely and tender, the veg was tasty and freshly cooked. The portion sizes was very good indeed and almost beat me. The desert we all opted for was the sticky toffee bread and butter pudding, which was different and very nice. The cost for two courses was £16, but we paid £18 and £19, after paying a small supplement on our choices. This was still excellent value. If you want a good portion size and excellent quality food then, following this visit I would say this is an excellent place to dine out. The next time we visit we will hope the Plaice is still on the menu as that sounded delightful.

Went here in the summer and had an amazing meal. Recommend to freinds and family. So had a rare child free afternoon and thought that we would go here for a little treat.sadly something has changed and not for the good.we ordered starters and mains service was ridiculously slow and the place was empty maybe 3 tables with people on.the starters arrived monkfish scampi, I love seafood but the taste of old oil that it had been cooked in was awful. So hoping our mains were better I had the seafood pancake £20 which we were happy to pay as it sounded delicious and last time we came here it was amazing food. Hubby had the belly pork. When it arrived it looked good. But sadly this is where it ended. The pancake was so hot that the edges were bubbling and the center luke warm as if it had been microwaved. The fish was tasteless. The pork was dry and again no seasoning. All in all we left disappointed and sad .not the treat we had hoped for.

It has been refurbished not long ago and it's been done very nicely. It was very quiet which was ok and the lady behind the bar was cheerful and friendly. The menu was ok but expensive. We had two of the Morley Burgers and they were good burgers, very tasty but certainly not worth £14. To be honest it looked overpriced throughout the menu. It serves Aspall cider and Thatcher haze if your a cider drinker. To some it up nice place, nice staff, food was decent but over priced. Would I go again yes but not to eat.

Excellent breakfast, Small breakfast £7; superbly cooked and great service. Shall definitely return. Would really recommend.

What can I say, nothing good, we were there for 2 1/2 hours and the worse place I have been. The roast beef was undercooked for my liking so give them benefit that others might like it, roast pots were fried after cooked as I can tell as I am Chef. The carrots and broccoli couldn't get knife through them so hard. I think the swede was best but didn't have any. After eating took toooo long to clear and only half cleared. Only 3 out of 7 wanted afters then took 20 mins and another 20 mins for coffee with no sugar etc brought over. I would give it -5 if I could as not worth the money could have gone Zeus or other places for less money and would have enjoyed it. Only 1 had nothing on his plate as he likes hard vegetables,I only ate yorkshire and beef. I would not recommend and will not go again.

Pop into the amazing Morley for a quick pint yesterday . Food smelt so good decided to stay for a roast .. what can I say it was fabulous.. the beef was so tender .... roll on Sunday as we will be back xxx

Good food and nice setting. Bar is done out very nice but not a fan personally of the outside tents seems to attract the louder drinker.

Came in for Sunday lunch with family, the food was good however the service was terrible and because of this we chose not to have desserts.

My wife and I popped in for an impromptu lunch after a walk around Saltram and had yet another perfect meal. We have been a few times and have always been met with a really warm welcome. The menu is amazing and the food that we ordered could not be faulted. Great decor, great service, great food and drink. What more could you want from a Bar & Eatery ? Brilliant job all at the Morley.

Food was average at best but the real, shock was everytime on of our group went to the toilet the amount of drugs we were witnessing being taken very openly. I even took a photo of toilet to show my husband. Did inform staff behind bar but was still there when my sister went in.

Went Morley for Sons Birthday..Staff very welcoming nothing to much trouble for them...As for meal exceptional, great menu choice and very child friendly. The biggy being the price of meals..Big thumbs up for the Morley. Strongly recommend a visit.👍👍

I’ve been to the Morley a few times now since it opened- drinks in the garden, family roast dinner on Sundays, bbq food. This time I went in the evening with a friend on a Thursday night. She had a steak and I had the venison and oh my lord it was beautiful!! We both said it was one of the best meals we had ever eaten. It was piping hot, so much flavour and a huge portion. It honestly was up there with other amazing local restaurants like The Treby Arms, The Barbican Kitchen, Rock Salt, etc. Really impressed with them- keep up the great work guys ❤️

First impressions of the morley arms were not as expected as we were approached by a young man who stated they were fully booked which is absolutely fair enough but then he abruptly said we can sit and eat if we’re gone in the hour, we appreciated him fitting us in but it was way he said it that was not very professional.

Since this place has opened it has been nothing but fantastic, we frequently visit as the food is fantastic! Definitely recommend the fish & chips, pork belly and the steaks! Great entertainment at weekends in the gin house! Keep doing great things Morley

On the evening of 14 September 2019, and as part of a small family group of 4, we booked for 1745. So an early evening booking, nothing major happening in terms of lots of customers eating, but a large disco event in the tented rear yard. Our table was adjacent to the ladies WC so throughout our meal we witnessed how many young ladies left the disco and came back and forth to the loo. Sometimes 2-3. The large menu (in terms of size, not content) was disappointing. Having chosen an 8 oz sirloin steak (£20), the sort of Beefeater £15 option it arrived within some 15 minutes. It was fatty, both within the main steak, and the immediate edges, and I cut out and stood to one side 3 large pieces of fat. The chips were delivered in a mini basket and were dark, as though they had previously been fried, and also had black edges. It was awful, and if it had not been a special family event, I would have kicked off. My wife had a curry, which basically consisted of a £1 micro wave bag of rice with something in a sauce dumped on top. My "sirloin" is readily available in Aldi or Lidl's for under £4. To be charged £20 is really taking the proverbial. A miserable experience and entirely spoilt a small family celebration. The menu is overpriced and very limited. Cannot possibly recommend this experience to anyone else.

I had a steak dinner and it was delicious. Service was very good and I shall return again soon. Top marks.

Visited The Morley for breakfast to celebrate my daughters birthday. I had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon on the side. The food came and looked delicious but I took a mouthful of scrambled egg and it was horrendous I think someone must have dropped a carton of pepper into it ...it was completely inedible. I sent it back and was offered a free drink. The replacement food arrived before the lukewarm coffee!

Had a family meal ordered the gammon it was very chewy and cold the onion rings was to greasy

Popped in on a spur of the moment, there was some event or party in the garden but were still able to be seating for a quite bite to eat! Heard good things so thought we would check it out and weren't disappointment. The food was good, not the best variety but from what they offer, the food is a good quality. Nice pleasant environment with nice views (if you crank your neck) in the garden! Has a Gin bar so I'm told which I guess caters for the Gin fad at the moment but don't think theres anything really special about the pub/restaurant that really sets it apart from others. Good food for a reasonable price but it is what it is! Id go again now i know what im getting!

Visited here unplanned and I can say that we are pleased that we did! The setting outside overlooking the river is amazing and the owners have gone to great lengths to make this space very pleasant indeed. The staff were very friendly and the food excellent. The fish and chips were quite simply the best we have ever tasted. Having returned I am surprised at some of the negative reviews. In my opinion this restaurant/pub is well worth a visit.

We booked a large family table (12-15) for my sisters birthday. It was supposed to be an afternoon tea as a fund raiser for the Hugs for Henry charity.

Attended a lovely christening event in the gin tent! Very pleasant food and staff, the view even more so on a particularly sunny day just made the day perfect. Fab drinks offer and we will be returning to try more 🤗

Desayunamos aquí varias veces y ha sido bueno. . . . . . . Hoy no es así. . . . . Huevos escalfados sobre masa madre con aguacate. . . . . . Eres un restaurante y luego obtienes buena comida incluso en la masa madre. . . . . El 75% de la masa madre de supermercado no es masa madre real. . . . . Tienes la galardonada panadería Jakas en Barbican. . . . . . Invertir. . . . . También huevos escalfados donde duro. . . . . . El servicio fue bueno

Visité The Morley hoy para el desayuno. Estaba lloviendo y un gran cartel dice que el desayuno se sirve a partir de las 9 de la mañana. Eran las 9. 03 cuando llegamos. Las puertas estaban cerradas. . . Nos estábamos empapando. Dimos la vuelta al conservatorio y vimos a un tipo barriendo. . . Le pregunté si se abrieron. . . me miró groseramente con los ojos en blanco y dijo que no! . . . . Es seguro decir que nunca volveremos!

La comida era buena, una vez que pudimos leer el menú (¡el interior moderno carecía de luz!). El servicio fue un poco lento, aunque parecía estar muy ocupado, con el estacionamiento una pesadilla.

Fuimos a almorzar los domingos y fue una sorpresa muy agradable, recibida por una joven y solicitamos una mesa sin reservar para dos, nos enseñaron una de inmediato y tomaron el pedido de bebidas y nos las entregaron en la mesa. Ambos tuvimos su rosbif con un lado de queso de coliflor, la comida y el servicio solo pueden describirse como excelentes. El personal era muy atento, exactamente lo que necesita un pub / restaurante de buena calidad. Solo podemos darle a este pub / restaurante una calificación de 5 estrellas.

Had a Sunday Roast as I had heard good things about this pub. I used to visit for Sunday lunch before the new people took over and although the pub was in need of a refurb, the food was very good. This place is amazing, it is a family run pub that is fantastic, it is a little more expensive than other places but it is worth every penny, the Sunday Roast I had was amazing, the new owners have done a fantastic job and I love it, well done, I have nothing bad to say about the Morley, it is a brilliant I can’t praise it enough, superb

Staff very welcoming but the customer experience did not last. Location is lovely but it is expensive. Burgers overcooked and chicken dry and tasteless. Two meals were held back and everyone else had finished by the time they finally arrived after we had to chase them up. We had to clear our own table after eating. All efforts at lunchtime by many staff were being focussed on prep for the evening and not lunch time customers. Got charged £5 for a vodka and soda water from the pump, same as a single gin plus mixer. We were looking forward to this but left after eating feeling a little flat and with our wallets a lot lighter! If you are going to charge £14 for a burger, it damn well better be a good one and it wasn't......

Went here for a birthday on a Thursday afternoon and I have to say the food was bland and overpriced and the service was non existent even tho there were more staff than customers. Two people waited over 20 minutes foe their mains even tho the rest of us had nearly eaten (or not ) and the excuse was they ordered starters (nibbles) but the empty starter plates were there when the other mains came out. We also had to move our empty plates to another table to get them cleared and the last 2 plates sat on our table for over an hour. It was like they were more interested in setting up foot the evening, would not recommend or go back. And how is Soda water the same cost as any other mixer!!!

A wonderful location, excellent service and catering for a large throughput of diners. The potential is unfulfilled, though. One of our diners enjoyed her meal but, for the other two, theirs were no better than average. So, with only one draft beer on offer which, through no fault of the Morley Arms, isn’t as good as it used to be, it didn’t rate highly as an evening out. Sorry!

Went for lunch earlier this week first time and was pleasantly surprised. Easy parking and nice building. Found a table and were seated quickly. Service friendly and prompt and the food very good. I recommend the seafood platter thoroughly enjoyed. Will be back.

I have eaten here several times and also just visited to use the gin bar. Every single time the service has been exceptional and the food absolutely fantastic. Since being taken over the guys have done an amazing job of transforming this place into one of Plymouth best places to drink and eat. The gin tent holds 150 different gins to try, the saxophonist that plays regularly is brilliant every time along with all the other live bands etc they host. There’s always something going on and lots of games in the garden for little ones. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Great outside area over looking part of the river Plym and marina. Good selection of food, well presented and generous portions.

Booked The Morley Arms on recommendation from my mum, she's also booked in with my brother for Christmas Day lunch. Nice welcome, helpful and knowledgeable staff, fantastic roast lunch. It's just a shame we are unable to dine with my mum and brother on Christmas Day. We will however return before then.

First time I’ve visited since the refurb, staff really friendly & helpful. Sat outside for drinks & then ate inside. Standard pub menu but pleasantly surprised with quality of the food. Will probably be back to try out the Gin Palace soon!

My husband organised a surprise birthday party for my 40th here and I can honestly say the whole experience was amazing. The venue (marquee in the garden) was just perfect for a summers evening. It was beautifully decorated and all of the staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The canapés were delicious, the selection of gins was outstanding and the DJ was brilliant, playing music to suit all of the guests. The owner gave me a free bottle of bubbly and he also brought a huge bag of sweets out for the kids which was a lovely thought. The whole evening was magical, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I really couldn’t recommend the Morley Arms enough. Thank you ❤️

Amazing Morley Arms Quiz Night on 4th July. I was with family and friends and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. Kelli Wakeham was an amazing Quiz Master . Food was available and was so good. Can’t wait for next months Quiz.

Attended a wedding reception at the Morley Arms fantastic venue, excellent food and first class service the staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble

First visit on Saturday. Menu not extensive but something to suit everyone I think. Had three delicious courses all cooked perfectly with good quality ingredients. Staff all very welcoming. Lots of different places to sit and have a drink. Good selection of drinks at the bar but couldn’t get a mojito however wouldn’t deter us going back. Great marquee in the rear garden with nice bar and live music.

Live local so thought we would try now it is in new hands, menu not as good as we thought, a lot of stuff wife and mother would not eat, I had the steak, not given a steak knife, chips were dry as was fathers fish, then the table was being cleared whilst one of the family was still eating, very rude. Overrated and overpriced will not be going back again.

Since this place has opened it has been nothing but fantastic, we frequently visit as the food is fantastic! Definitely recommend the fish & chips, pork belly and katsu curry! Great entertainment at weekends where they have an outside kitchen open serving delicious barbecue food!

This got off to a good start, the restaurant is well set out and airy with very pleasant decor. There is plenty of parking and there is a reasonable choice on the menu.

Really disappointed. Went for quiet drinks with friends. Surrounded by drunk kids. Some of them even crowing about not being asked for ID. Completely ruined my experience and I won’t go again.

5* food and service!! Anything asked off the staff was better than expected they made us all feel very welcome. Unbelivable food and brilliant garden for the kids even when it was extremely busy! How anyone and post negative reviews is beyond me. Highly recommend

Visited this establishment after a recent refurbishment and what a wonderful change it was since I last visited. Service was great and the facilities were fresh and modern but still full of character. The menu was not huge but a good variety of dishes. The meals were on the expensive side but the quality presentation and taste was worthy of the price. Drinks again were on par with most bars but the bottle of wine we enjoyed was reasonable. We enjoyed our meal and will return

Went to have an afternoon by the river, coffee was smooth, service was quick; efficient and polite. This place has a really relaxed ambience, although it sits beside a busy road you were not disturbed by it. We sat beside the river and enjoyed our food immensely.

We went for Sunday lunch I had the roast beef, would highly recommend it was delicious. My husband had the sea food plater, he really enjoyed. Such a lovely place, ended up in the gin tent.we had a great afternoon also took out puppy. We were all made to feel so welcome, all the staff are so lovely and very friendly. Went back the next day for breakfast OMG the produce of the food is top quality. Absolutely delicious. We will be returning nxt wknd.

My wife and I popped in on a bank holiday Saturday afternoon. It wasn't very busy. I went to the Bar to order drinks. There was no 'can I help' or 'hi', it was just 'yes' from the barmaid. I ordered the drinks and wanted to pay by card. The card machine was just pushed under my nose.

Eleven of us booked for a family get together over the bank holiday weekend. After reading reviews we thought we were in for a treat! Even though not all the party had arrived together we felt pressured to order our food. Instead we opted to get the drinks in and wait for the rest. Having a gin bar I thought I’d be safe ordering a rhubarb gin with ginger ale, no, it arrived but with a different mixer already added?? It was ok so didn’t query it. Then lunch. We ordered our roast. The meal was served with the meat laying over the roast potatoes. One stringy slice of beef. The parsnips were solid! Best part was the Yorkshire pudding. I then decided I would like a rhubarb gin with ginger ALE. NO. When it arrived it was a strange murky liquid. Not ALE but ginger BEER. Ok gave it a go but mmm. Different. We spent a pleasant hour in the garden and had a different gin from the bar there. Great saxophonist beautiful setting. As it got cooler we decided to go back inside and found a table without a reservation so the ladies sat down while the men were preparing to get the drinks in only to be told “ I can’t have you sitting there you’ll disturb my diners”. Well, I couldn’t believe the way we were being spoken to. Not withstanding the amount of money we had spent in the four hours we’d been there, we were a more mature group of people who perhaps could have hoped for more respect. To add insult to injury we were then offered a space in the conservatory but told not to make a mess as she’d just cleared it up. Had we not just ordered another round of drinks we would have walked out. Again my gin came with ginger beer! Gave up defeated by then and completely outraged at how bad the afternoon had been because we were let down on numerous occasions. As a parting shot can I just say I do not think calling your guests “darling” is acceptable in a place that is trying to be rather more upmarket than the pub it used to be..

Amazing food, very attentive happy staff, meal was excellent and enjoyed by all, lovely decor inside and beautiful outside x

Visited tonight for my birthday treat. Katie our waitress was outstanding nothing was too much trouble closely followed by Lesley and Steve who also made us feel very welcome. The food was to die for will definitely be making a return visit. Thank you guys
