The best restaurants in Sutton and Mount Gould Plymouth South West

As my partner and I were in Plymouth we decided to have an ice cream so we stopped here what can I say this place is amazing the young man at Gertie's was funny and very helpful and knowledgeable I can't praise the shop any more loved everything if we are down this way again we will definitely pop in again

Never had a bad meal from here. Very friendly staff and the portion sizes are massive. Ideal takeaway. Food always hot which is ideal

Had a really nice meal here last night, fish tacos and a homemade burger. The food was great and good portion sizes at reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Plenty of free parking (up to 2 hours free).

Food was late and cold. Chips were really undercooked, curry was very average. Think I’ve had nicer from Lidl. There was a hair in my food. After seeing the good reviews I was really disappointed with the food. Won’t be ordering from here again.

First time at this rockfish after visiting a few others. Great location and views. The staff were spot on the whole meal so no faults there. I would recommend trying the specials at a rockfish which the waiters go through with you before ordering. I had the John Dorey which looks scary but was fantastic. I mean just look up a picture of it! I 100% wouldn't have had it if not for the fabulous waiter. The unlimited chips are a steal as well. Shame about the mandatory vegan mayo though awful stuff hence the dropped star (yes it was that bad).

Nice hotel, if a bit noisy. Our room was on the second floor and on both mornings we could hear the people in the room above walking around. Other than that, very helpful staff

My regular kebab place and it never fails to be delicious. The guys in the shop are brilliant when you order in person, so friendly and often throw in extras

Having placed an order using the Uber Eats App, with this option being listed as available for delivery to us, it was then cancelled by the Chinese Restaurant saying they actually couldn’t deliver to us! We used Lucky Wok instead and had a lovely meal (delivered!)

We like Miller and Carter restaurants. They are consistent and the food quality is good. On this occasion it was a cold day and the restaurant would have been improved with more heating. The waiter was helpful and attentive. We were served quickly. It is a pity that the rack of lamb is no longer available. I love the onion loaf. Prices are not cheap. But the food is good.
