Embankment Kebab & Pizza in Plymouth

My regular kebab place and it never fails to be delicious. The guys in the shop are brilliant when you order in person, so friendly and often throw in extras

The most disgusting food I've ever had the displeasure of ordering .... The pizza we ordered was burnt and barley edible .... The mixed kebab we ordered was terrible and the garlic bread with cheese had a hair in it ( photo uploaded) wouldn't eat from here again even if it was free yuk ....

Food is always nice & tasty. Delivered a little early too. Definitely worth a try.

The food was on time, and what I ate was OK, but when I bit into the garlic bread I found a big piece of plastic inside, I would never recommend this place to anyone due to the poor cooking of the restaurant, which is a shame because the pizzas are usually amazing.

Went there after work for a kebab close to where I live. Ordered meal Deal 3 Kebab. Guys were great, funny and helpful. Going home the food was great and one place where after eating had no problems with food digestion whereas some other places you do. £13 for a meal deal is worth it!

The pizzas we ordered were fantastic and tasted very fresh. When back in Plymouth again we will definitely order from them again. Keep up the great job

I absolutely love the pizza it taste amazing my family really liked it and the customer service was excellent the workers are very kind and they want to make sure you have a good meal. I definitely think you should go there for your once a week take away! It was also very sanitary!

Pizza was freezing cold when it arrived. By the looks how much food was in the delivery persons car I was on a long list. I order quite frequently from here so may have to rethink where to go from now on

Best one so far, always clean and friendly staff. Cash only is their drawback however best overall.

Food was really good!! We had pizza, mixed kebabs and cheesy chips. Inside is very clean. They only accept cash though so loose 1 star. Food is 5/5 though.

I am ordering 20” pizzas and they are sending 18” pizza The boxes are only 18” from the outside.

Absolutely shocked at the appalling service, had the delivery driver (a larger woman with a nasty attitude) shout and swear at me as I answered the door telling me that my address which is on a main road was hard to find and that she would be telling the restaurant to put a block on my future orders, no idea what her problem was but I've been ordering this place for roughly 4/5 years and never had a problem before. Would recommend that the restaurant check who they have delivering and representing their business as this kind of experience is more than enough to turn away any chance of returning customers.

Went in one day everything was amazing. 5 star. Next time some parts were good, some were not! We had Chicken Shish 5 star Mixed / Chicken donner 1 star - was not edible. However, it was delicious the first time we tried. Garlic bread 4 star - tasty but very greasy.

Food was not as hot as we would have liked but it was very tasty!! Would order again!

Super fast service. Tasty food, fresh ingredients, excellent size portions. Will definitely order from here again. The chicken shish wrap was especially good👍 My only criticism would be put the chips in paper or a box not polystyrene to keep them crispy and everything would be perfect.

Lovely fresh salad with my mixed Kebab which was absolutely delicious. If i had to criticise all i could say was i got no chilli peppers in the salad but that is all i could fault

Very tasty pizza, friendly and polite staff

We called the restaurant to chase the meal after an hour over the expected deliver time. They said that they came to our address and the person there said they didn't order anything. After a while arguing because they accused us of lying they eventually agreed that they had attempted delivery to the wrong address and would redeliver in the next 15 minutes. The food finally arrived 40 minutes later. The food was cold and the driver said it was our fault it took so long to deliver.

I ordered pizza for ASAP and it arrived earlier than I expected, was piping hot and really, really tasty. There was a really good choice of toppings. I really recommend this place.

Food over cooked and cold when it arrived and didn’t come on time

Normally very good but this time the sent wrong item out argued for 10mins on the phone calling me a liar finally redelivered to only be given very poor standard food 😢

5* Way better than the big pizza chains

Embankment has been out go to place for a great kebab for ages. Not sure of a change in ownership/management as the quality of food has dropped. Tonight's food was awful. No salad even though requested and the meat was so dry it was almost inedible. Plus the chilli jam is no longer on the menu. Gutted!!!

Please add the option for CHEESE on the veggie burger.

The food was great, possibly the biggest pizza I have ever seen in my life and was cooked wonderfully! The lady who delivered our food was very kind and courteous. Will happily order from here again!

I buy used oil from Kebaps to use in my diesel cars. This kebab is by far the cleanest in Plymouth and their kebabs are delicious

Be very careful if you order something and its wrong they are unhappy to help and chips were not to standard. Unhappy with customer service very low experience in this field wouldn't recommend calling I would speak to just eat directly or go to another restaurant p

Missing / wrong items but other food was great!

Was 30 late than when first ordered but was kept updated when there was a delay, and anyway it was a Saturday night at 8! Food was still delivered hot and of good quality, and tasty would order again.

Absolutely shocking, the food didn’t match the order, wasn’t hot, completely disgraceful. Rang to speak to them and they were very rude , they refused to resolve the problem and refused to refund us. Stay clear

I eat there since opening few years ago. Beginning was really amazing. During these few years some staff changes happen and taste drop down. It wasn't bad , but I try there really one of best pizzas in Plymouth before, so it was a bit disappointing. To be fair. Premise is very clean. Portions are XL. Price below average. But this lack of taste, from opening times, restricted my visits from once weekly to once every 2-3 months. Finally, during last visit I discovered that guys who open this premise work again. It's time to walk there more often :) I just read few customer reviews and most of negative feedbacks is about delivery. I'm not sure how delivery work as I live near and always walk in. Negatives : Cash only Prep time around 20min (Weekdays. Not sure about weekend evening) Positives : Pizza 20" Everything made from fresh ingredients Nice price for 4 person sets
