It is a most beautiful hotel indeed. I stayed for 2 weeks yet extended to a 3rd week. The place is within walking distance to all attractions. The rooms are very presentable, very clean, and always serviced every day. I often had full breast-fast which was always delicious with many choices to chose from. I loved dining in at the restaurant downstairs, it is a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are amazing and delightful to speak to, always willing to help and are very friendly. There are other facilities like pool and gym which make the hotel even more attractive.

Quite disappointed, the noise from the plant on the roofs of the hotel are so noisy it is hard to sleep. All the rooms are a bit dated. Internet is so slow you can't use it.

Rooms at nice and Clean, some rooms don't really have a view to outside ( looking at a wall) . Food was delicious with nice selection of house wines. Breakfast is served in seperate dining area with plenty of seating. The only thing is the location which is right at a small junction. Its only 15 minutes walk to the Quay. Staff are friendly and helpful

Very comfortable, large bed and we both had a great nights sleep. Good location with quick access to the City Centre and in the other direction, the Waterfront. The hotel Car park is £5 but you don’t need to move it until a few hours after check out so you can have an explore beforehand.

A little old, but elegant. The hotel, the Best Western standard, cannot be seen here. The rooms are tidy and clean and although our room was not accessible by elevator as it was in the back of the building, it was generously sized. The service was medium to good. We were there today with a group of 45 people and the service staff had a big challenge serving everyone while eating. There was a shortage of toast and coffee. For breakfast there is both a buffet and à la carte food. The swimming pool and sauna are also getting old. in the swimming pool, there seems to be a problem with the floor. He is weighed down with iron plates and weights from the music shop... A very strange and definitely questionable procedure in terms of safety.

We had a fantastic weekend stay at the new continental this past weekend. Check-in was fast, friendly, and professional. Our room was bright and clean and had everything we could need. The air con in the room was a fantastic treat! Breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We can't recommend this lovely family run hotel enough. Thank you.

Nice break away, friendly staff, easy to find and park. Room was clean, although bathroom was lacking in decor and was a bit "cell" like. The pool was nice, but in need of tlc - with random weights in the bottom? The sauna and steam room ok, all just a bit tired. Large gym area seemed good although did not go in. The breakfast was lovely and fresh, although had to ask to order. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel the only reason of 3 star not 5 is that I kept having to run up and down stairs as my key card kept failing not 1 or 2 times this happened but at least 5 different occasions.

Good location but could with a good update. The spa is desperate for some tlc... It's from the 60s. Can't remember a communal shower like that dinner I left school in 1982.

Mixed grill was excellent, EXCEPT for the steak. Rump is the standard for a mixed grill as it`s a cheaper cut, but despite being cooked as ordered (medium) is was awful. Tough, stringy. If they offered an upgrade to Sirloin I would happily pay extra. Rest of the mixed grill was very good. Served quickly. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Definately worth a visit

One of the classic Plymouth pasty shops, loved by many locals who enjoy their particular style of pasty and with other shops in Stoke & Devonport. My personal favourite. If you like pasties give them a try, they might be the style you prefer as well.
