This is a really super place. It has a fabulous range of food, all of which is excellent quality and beautifully served by nice people. The wall decorations are quirky and interesting. Very, very good coffee too. It’s just ‘nice’ in this place. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. We had a lovely lunch here. Unusually, our dog felt relaxed enough to sleep on the floor - a first in a place like this. But they also made a fuss of her, which she loved. Thoroughly recommended.

There is always a friendly welcome here. The menu is simple but lovely and reflects the ethos of the place. Great emphasis on Fairtrade and local produce. It is a good place to meet up for a drink or a light meal.

Saw a uber eats picture on face book and thought we would give it a go. Was a quiet Easter Monday in Truro. Seated quickly and asked what we wanted to drink and eat… lady brought us out tap water no dramas and checked back after serving us.. I’ve drank in here over the years so bit weird sitting down for a breakfast.. I dont normally comment on the place and vibe but the seats were really comfortable and it just had a really nice feeling in there. We had x 3 American breakfasts at £11:95 each see pictures. I had poached eggs which were perfectly cooked daughter had scrambled and wife had fried. The breakfast is surprisingly filling, pancakes were lovely and fluffy with a very generous portion of maple sauce… bacon was crispy which I dont mind and the locally sourced sausages were spot on.. hash browns and beans are are what they are. Would go back again or for lunch 100%.

We had a really lovely evening here for my husband's birthday at the end of February. The restaurant staff had been amazing at fitting us in, even when I asked if we could add a second family to our booking (essentially doubling the numbers!). We were 4 adults and 6 children (two 9yos, and two sets of twins, aged 5 and 6). The food was amazing. Service kind and friendly. When we arrived, we were shown to the table and there was a table of adults in the same area. They took one look at us and asked to move, before we'd even got our coats off. Our children sat and chatted together, did colouring-ins and puzzle books. We always bring these things with us to restaurants, but the other diners didn't wait a moment to find that out! At the end of the evening, one of the staff (I think possibly the manager or owner) told me how well-behaved he thought our children were. Thank you for that kindness. I was feeling somewhat taken aback that the other table asked to move before we'd even sat down, and that made such a difference. Thank you. 🙏🏻

Guaranteed delicious food! This is mine and my family's go to in Truro. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff polite and smiley. We love the quirkiness of the café, and the fact you can browse their lovely shop after your meal (the lifestyle store is found under the café). They have specials and seasonal drinks and the cake selection is always a hit. The salad bowls and sharing platters are a very good portion for the price. Highly recommended, a hidden gem in the city.

Popped in to my fav place today to grab some lunch on the go, absolutely spoilt for choice with the freshly stacked up counter! Opted for a coronation chicken salad sandwich which was amazing & absolutely packed with filling. Also swapped out my go-to iced latte for one of their shakes, which was absolutely insane! 🍓🥛 Can't wait to try all the other flavours! As always, absolute 10/10 to this must try hot spot in town! 👏🏼

Cafe Nero in Boscawen street Truro is my go-to for a coffee break when I am out shopping , in my opinion the very best coffee in town! I like the variety on offer, and the relaxed atmosphere. The staff are brilliant, really skilled baristas, but more than that, they are cheerful, friendly and welcoming. I am happy to be guided by my coffee choices( I buy the pods for my nespresso machine at home), and when I am loaded up with shopping they offer to bring my coffees over to me . A shout out to Dave, Ligita, Taylor and Kieran, a great team setting a lovely atmosphere.
