Good place with decent food. I ordered some sushi rolls, which were cooked fast and were tasty. Service was good as well.

Collected two deliveries tonight. Fast service that doesn't compromise on the quality of food (which was delicious). Busy but with a lovely atmosphere. Customer service was great, especially impressed with the young staff who were very polite and diligent. Will definitely come again, thank you!

Fantastic experience. We went for the first time and were so happy to find decent sushi in Cornwall. They offer Chinese and Japanese dishes. Everything we tried was great including the kabocha korokke (pumpkin croquettes), chicken karaage, chicken teriyaki sushi roll, prawn ‘middle roll’, beef yaki soba. They were able to cater for dietary requirements and waiting staff were polite and helpful. We will be back soon!

Visited as the reviews were excellent. The sushi was good/ok. Biggest portions I’ve had at a sushi restaurant, which is will be good for some. Chinese food was less exciting and also means restaurant has that deep fried smell. Staff very friendly and attentive. Given there aren’t other sushi restaurants in Truro, it’s a good option, but if you’re a sushi connoisseur, you might be disappointed.

Lovely friendly staff and enjoyed the open kitchen area. Really fresh, fragrant, and flavourful Chinese dishes served streaming hot. Will definitely be back.

Went for a date night and we ordered the Tokyo dragon rolls, soft shell crab tempura, Japanese egg fried rice and also salt and chilli chicken … it was phenomenal and way above our expectations… the service was great too, very kind and polite… young man to have us our bill was very well mannered and polite… absolutely will be going back here!

Delivery nightmare. Twice in 2 months we have waited over 2 hours. You ring up, it left 5 minutes ago. Don’t bother with home delivery.

Excellent food, fast, big portions. Chaotic atmosphere due to the open kitchen next to dining area and the very noisy kitchen team chatting and instructing staff (sorry to say). I'll be back though!

I really recommend the Tonkatsu Ramen and the temaki (soft shell crab is amazing). My new favourite take away. Years later this is still my favourite restaurant. Tonkotsu udon, soft shell crab temaki, salmon temaki and vegetable tempura are my go to orders. The kids love the tonkotsu udon and unagi rolls along with other. Staff here are amazing and remember you. Fantastic customer service every time along with really really delicious food you can’t get anywhere else.

Had a table booked for 8 guests for a birthday meal, it's a tiny restaurant so we essentially took up almost half of their capacity, staff were great, friendly and polite. The food was well cooked, generous portion sizes and very reasonably priced. You can see into the kitchen, the chefs were pleasant and the benefits of having the aroma all around the dining area really work up your appetite. It's hands down the best Japanese food I've had outside of Japan. The takoyaki had a decent amount of octopus and wasn't oily or stodgy, crisp to perfection. The gyoza's looked handmade and my son said they are his new favourite, another child tried sashimi tuna for the 1st time and loved it and my youngest tried crab hand rolls for the first time that was wolfed down, looked to have plenty of fresh vegetables and rice in them too. My yaki soba was phenomenaly good, having a generous portion of chicken and fresh vegetables, cooked perfectly as was my wife's yaki udon. I also tried some of my mums katsu, they definitely add more spice for a western palette but in a way that still felt like katsu in Japan. My eldest daughter had a massive bowl of Raman that had to be taken away but was delicious and presented fantastically. A bill for 8 including starters and drinks was less than I expected. All in all a great birthday to be had with friendly wonderful staff, a new gem that I can't wait to return to again and plan to book for when my brother and his family visit from Tokyo next year. I have children with autism who it's safe to say have issues when stepping out of their comfort zone with new food but they all tried a new dish for either a main or starter and all of them want to come back for more. I definitely recommend Yue Restaurant.

EAT IN ! DO NOT GET TAKEAWAY! Food here is good, great menu and well presented. Takeaway poor. Food is cold. When I asked for the best way to get my food hot, I was told not to order takeaway but eat in. Take their advice.

Very friendly staff ,very reasonably priced but premises is grubby and in need of make over. Also the chicken in black bean was very salty to much veg, sweet sour chicken too chewy dry, special fried rice is mostly veg hardy any rice.Its a shame because the first time we ate there the food was excellent, even though the place is run down.

Food has definitely gone down hill and serves. I spent £32 on food . Got sent what looked like left out scraps. On something I didn't or instead of my mini spring rolls. Rice was stuck together. They also refused to give me a parcel refund. Not to mention when I rang they said they'd ring me back in 5 mins to order.25 mins later nothing so I rang back.

Firstly I'll say the food was mostly fantastic. Great portion sizes and very tasty food. I love the variety of sushi/Japanese/Chinese. It suited everyone. We had the mixed starter too which was very impressive. Great quality and I will return when next in town as a result. However, unfortunately the service has let it down a little. We ordered from the car whilst travelling to Truro and timed it to be ready as we arrived. I arrived on time but wasn't acknowledged for over 5 minutes and was then told there would a ten minute wait. In the end my order was prepared 20 minutes late. This was frustrating as I had ordered in plenty of time and had tired hungry kids (4 hours journey to get here) waiting in the car. Like I said above, the food quality was great so I will return.

I'm so glad we found this place, a fusion of traditional Japanese and Chinese. The food is excellent 👌 😋 fresh and very, very tasty. Not the most upmarket surroundings, but the food quality and choice is outstanding. They also cater for takeaways, so on busy times, there can be a bit of a waiting. However, the wait is definitely worth it.

Absolutely great food! Took a while to get to the table, but understandable as the menu is huge! Ordered from the Japanese menu and it was excellent. Sushi, Katsu, tempura and gyoza were all worth waiting for. Bao were the best I've had in ages. Hope to check out the Chinese menu in the future. Thanks!

One of the worst Chinese experiences ever the Food is gross. The rice comes out of the box in one massive lump and I was delighted to find a nice hair crispy chilli beef. I definitely will be avoiding this Chinese

Do not order from here. My partner has been extremely ill after eating from the restaurant. He has viral infection, chicken want cooked properly. Awful

The FINEST and the BEST Chinese & Japanese restaurant in this part of Truro. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and exquisite food; that without trying beat other similar restaurants in the local area. Staff and service is absolutely warm and welcoming(10 Stars). Seriously better than some of the top similar London restaurants that I have visited. I will be back!

The service was great they were so lovely felt properly tacken care off. Food was a 10/10 tasted so fresh and delicious. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful interior design. Would defiantly recommend.

This is the best restaurant ever! All of the staff are amazing. The quality of food is excellent and great value for money. Atmosphere is lovely. Outdoor seating is also available which is great. have been coming here for a few months and it never disappoints👍

Sushi is overpriced and disappointing, but the rest was fine. Okay as long as you don't get sushi.

I’ve eaten here multiple times now each time being for birthdays. We generally take a tapas approach opting for lots of Japanese dishes shared. All the food is served fresh, with plenty of flavour. The dishes are all a good size especially for the price. The staff are always friendly & accommodating. Would recommend to anyone & will definitely go return in the future sampling the large variety of dishes.

It has taken us a long time to visit Yue, but the wait was well worth it. Just off the city centre on a predominantly residential road you need to know this little restaurant is here. It offers both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. We went Japanese. The waitress was delightful, helpful and courteous. The food was utterly delicious, light and fragrant, it was also exceptionally fresh and our selection was certainly healthy. The wine list is good. We went on a Monday evening and there were four other tables occupied, which was about 2/3 full as this is a small establishment. It alsdoes take away and appeared to be doing brisk business. I would certainly recommend this little jewel of a restauran.

Food portions are always incredible and I’ve never had a bad meal, they also do incredibly good milk iced bubble tea with tapioca!! Also the customer service is always phenomenal

I have been living in Truro for a few months now, and this restaurant has proven to be the best Chinese food we have tried so far, and the prices are reasonable. The customer service was excellent, it was a busy Saturday night and we ordered for collection. We had to wait 15 minutes longer than expected, but this was understandable with how busy it was and the young woman on front of house was very apologetic and attentive, giving us a free bag of prawn crackers and a can of coke as an apology. The food itself was delicious, we ordered beef curry with rice, chow mein, mini spring rolls, crispy beef, chicken balls and chips. The spring rolls were slightly undercooked but still nice and the rest of the food was great! Highly recommend The Yue Restaurant. 😊

Where has this been all my life?! Never have I had Japanese takeout in Cornwall, and I did not expect it to be so nice! I cook a lot of Japanese dishes at home and this felt like a real comfort food vibe, like I cook at home. Tasty, strong flavours & it didn’t taste like generic takeaway. I had the Japanese seafood rice and I will 100% have it again. As well as the crab tempura.

Food was really good. We enjoyed the seafood egg fried rice dish and salmon nigiri. The seafood ramen was a bit plain however all of the other dishes were excellent. I would recommend others who are visiting Cornwall to try this place.

First thing to mention is delivery took an hour more than expected. With the exception of that everything else was great! Food was tasty and portions were generous. I called up to see where the food was and the staff were very polite and helpful. We will be ordering again but will make sure we're not in a rush!

I love this place but the last couple of times we’ve ordered we’ve waited 2+ hours for our food. Had to ring both times to find out what’s going on. Last night was told only one delivery driver. Poor bloke was in such a rush. Polite and friendly but couldn’t hang about. Please get more delivery drivers. We love your food! Put off by the wait times that’s for sure

A hidden gem with delicious, fresh food! Sushi is made fresh to order and is amazing. Portion sizes are very generous and filling- great value for money! Very authentic Japanese food. Easily my favourite place to eat in cornwall 🫶🏻

Enjoyable Sunday evening visit. Booked in over the telephone, and no problems when arriving on site. Was a bit worried about finding somewhere to park, but it turns out there is a council carpark, about 20 yards away, and when we went it, was free after 4pm. If this is the normal case, it's probably worth shouting about on the website! Layout of the menu was a bit strange, with different items seemingly in the wrong place. Food was very good. We had the 'starter for two' to share, but didn't realise it was not a set starter, and we were meant to choose 4 items form the starter section. As we had already decided on the mains and sides, we simply asked for their choice of 4. This turned out to be a very good suggestion. There was a couple of chicken items, ribs, and king prawns. All the starters were great. The only concern we had, was leaving room for the mains! All in all, it was a great visit, staff friendly and efficient, food was great, portions were large, and prices were reasonable. Building was an old town house, which had a modern extension, where most of the seating was. The room was bright and clean, with a large lantern skylight. Through the rear French doors, there was a nice outside area, perfect for when spring finally arrives. Recommended, and worth a visit if in you are in Truro -------------------- 2023 changed from 5* to 3* so after a few nice visits to the Yue, sadly it's all changed. We visited this year to find the menu completely changed. It's mainly Japanese now, and nothing really stood out as something we wanted. when we asked about the older food and starters they didn't know what we were talking about, so i'm guessing it's changed hands? Anyhow, 3 young staff on the floor, and somehow they managed the starter ok, but then only brought one main for 2 people. eventually after the floor staff and the kitchen staff had a shouting argument saying we didn't order 2 meals, they found the order in the bin, which did indeed have 2 meals for 2 people. Food eventually came out. So it looks like our favourite Chinese in Truro is no more, time to find somewhere else. Such a shame.

The starters where good, the mains where very bland and not at a very good standard at all. I've actually had a better pumpkin katsu curry in a garden centre than this place. The vegetable noodle rarman had zero vegetables in it, absolutely none! Just noodles, a very bland broth and half of an egg We where rushed to finish our food so they could give the table to someone else. We actually came 30 minutes early, which is a good job, as we would have had no chance to eat properly. Shame really, was looking forward to place, ended up being a big let down.

The outside doesn't impress as a restaurant but it is actually a very busy takeaway with a small informal restaurant at the back with only 6 tables. The food was excellent and the service great and attentive. Give it a try. I tried it based on recommendations and wasn't disappointed There is no parking but there is a council carpark 10 steps from the restaurant and it is free after 5pm.

Weekday lunch, our 4th time here, lovely service and excellent food. We like to choose from the Japanese menu, today we had the Mix-Tempura Bento with prawns and vegetables and the Gomoku Chahan Japanese Fried Rice with prawns, fish, scallops...all delicious with Jasmine Tea.

Please do not order from this place...horrific service. Waited over 2 hours for a delivery told 3 times it was on its way. Family party ruined they took it back to throw it away and refunded us. No food, very unhappy husband..off for fish and chips...

Tasty chinese food at reasonable price, small restaurant but clean & tidy, polite & attentive staff, convenient location as 10 mins walk from the railway station, also other car parks are nearby as well.

We didn't know about this tiny treasure in Truro. Very fresh and delicious sushi and sashimi. We ordered the set 2 of Tuna and Salmon, and Unagi rolls - Eel. All of them were good and the Eels were exceptional! We also ordered some duck baos and spring onion and ginger beef. All of it was delicious with good portions. We were lucky to start the dinner early but it got really busy really fast and later it was a little delayed to get service. But that's because of the popularity. Very nice place and will definitely eat there again!

Had a takeaway from here - absolute knock out quality. Would recommend and it's now on my list to visit to eat in. Wow!

What an absolute gem of a restaurant, I went here with my fiancée for a meal together and the food is amazing! The staff are really friendly and always smiling, the food was super fresh and it had a great atmosphere there too. The marinated tuna sashimi is out of this world! We visited on Tuesday night, completely unplanned and it was the best choice ever! All Staff seemed to hard working, seem to be training a new boy too who seemed very nervous but was trying his best. Ladies who served us were extremely friendly! The food was absolutely amazing! Probably one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time❤️
