The best restaurants in St Keverne and Meneage Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Excellent food and very friendly service. My lady had the Cornish mackerel which was delicious but the salads which accompanied the fish were wonderful-such a variety and all adding to the splendid lunch. I had the ham and grainy mustard sandwiches-lovely slices of good ham and a good helping of mustard as well. I also had the salad selections. Overall two excellent lunches.

Went for Sunday lunch. Soup was delicious but beef was tough & vegetables not generous particularly the roast potatoes. No choice except cheese was an alternative to desert . This seemed very over priced with a £6 supplement . Atmosphere was lovely & service good but no reduction made when one of our part had no soup or desert & left her beef because she couldn't cut it

Four of us came here in early November to celebrate my birthday. From the booking through to actual service it was wonderful. You can bring your own wine and pay corkage which we did but ended up just having some of the excellent organic wine from the wine list. There was lovely bread and olive oil on the table which disappeared quickly. I had cured trout for starter, hake for main and a posh Eton mess (my best description anyway). All the food was fresh local produce, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The most surprising and very pleasing thing was the bill. At around £55 per head including wine and service it was extremely good value for money in this day and age. I would most definitely look to book again when we come to Cornwall next.

WOW...the ice cream is amazing must go back to try all the flavours!!!! o and they do coffee as well.(and coffee ice cream)

Great little place. We were passing through so grabbed a tuna salad bap and steak pasty. Both very tasty and good value for money. We also picked up homemade mince pies and chocolate truffles which were absolutely amazing. Friendly service, great food and well priced - highly recommend.

The place itself is great, staff great, etc. but it's crazy to me that people claim this is the best pasty in Cornwall. They are big, plenty of meat, pastry itself is nice. But the filling generally was a leltdown. On top of that the location is a pain in the arse to get to and not worth the hassle. The best in Cornwall? No!

Went to a friend Wedding reception celebration afternoon high tea. The staff were delightful and attentive, the sandwiches and cakes were super nice!

A lovely birthday dinner with excellent food, friendly service and a really warm atmosphere. It’s not often every dish on the menu looks great but they all appealed. Every course was fantastic. Flawless. Will definitely be back to this little gem.

Due to financial constraints we are not able to use your services any way near as much as we'd like but you always make us feel welcome when we are able to visit. Sunday indulgence has hit a new level. My husband has been raving about their roast for ages, and I finally got to experience it, and WOW, he wasn’t exaggerating. The puffed pork crackling was an irresistible, salty prelude to a main event bursting with flavour. The pork was perfectly succulent, the beef melted in the mouth, and every element - from the rich, sweet gravy to the expertly prepared veggies was sheer perfection. And dessert? A rich Apple and Cinnamon Tarte Tatin paired with creamy Roskillys vanilla ice cream and a crunchy, nutty hazelnut biscuit brittle. The perfect finale to an unforgettable lunch. Well done Chef Tomg Roskilly and team. If you're a Sunday roast lover, this is a MUST. Trust me, you’ll leave planning your next visit. It's also family friendly and has the best range of ice cream flavours, and you get to feed the animals, with wonderful walks nearby too. Win, win.

One of my top eating experiences of late. I had lunch at Flora at New Yard, absolutely stunning ambience, excellent food, fabulous staff. Highly recommend.

prawn starter overcooked outside, cold in middle, sent back, mains just as bad, old fat, not fresh, no idea, never again

Stayed for 2 nights at the White Hart, very comfy bed, Full breakfast menu, and a fantastic Roast Dinner to help us on our way on Sunday. This pub seems to be the heart and soul of the Village.
