The best restaurants in St Keverne and Meneage Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Excellent food and very friendly service. My lady had the Cornish mackerel which was delicious but the salads which accompanied the fish were wonderful-such a variety and all adding to the splendid lunch. I had the ham and grainy mustard sandwiches-lovely slices of good ham and a good helping of mustard as well. I also had the salad selections. Overall two excellent lunches.

We went here on holiday after finding a good review and it did not disappoint! the food was wonderful and we will definitely go again.

Four of us came here in early November to celebrate my birthday. From the booking through to actual service it was wonderful. You can bring your own wine and pay corkage which we did but ended up just having some of the excellent organic wine from the wine list. There was lovely bread and olive oil on the table which disappeared quickly. I had cured trout for starter, hake for main and a posh Eton mess (my best description anyway). All the food was fresh local produce, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The most surprising and very pleasing thing was the bill. At around £55 per head including wine and service it was extremely good value for money in this day and age. I would most definitely look to book again when we come to Cornwall next.

WOW...the ice cream is amazing must go back to try all the flavours!!!! o and they do coffee as well.(and coffee ice cream)

Great little place. We were passing through so grabbed a tuna salad bap and steak pasty. Both very tasty and good value for money. We also picked up homemade mince pies and chocolate truffles which were absolutely amazing. Friendly service, great food and well priced - highly recommend.

Gear Farm make literally the best pasties ever. Absolutely worth every penny.

5 Stars Talland Bay Hotel is a breath of fresh air in a world of uniformity—wonderfully unique and full of character. The decor is charmingly eccentric, and the staff are simply outstanding: attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make our stay perfect. Our weekend was fabulous from start to finish, enjoyed by my wife, myself, and even our small dog, who was warmly welcomed. We truly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return!

We had our choir Christmas meal here today. Decorated beautifully inside. Service quick and perfect. Food was amazing. Plenty of everything. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very reasonable prices. Perfect.

What a fantastic place! We recently lost my dad and it was my daughter’s birthday a couple of days later, Roskillys is her favourite place, also one of mums! They allowed us to stay for food and they stayed open over they’re closed period for us to celebrate! They also made my daughter an ice cream cake which went down a TREAT!!!!! I cannot Thankyou enough for what you have done!

Hidden amongst a rural estate this place is beautiful. We were met with a handshake and made to feel very welcome. Dinner was fresh, seasonal and fragrant. We returned a few months later and Tim the chef remembered us! We enjoyed the most fantastic coffee and Danish for breakfast ❤️.

One of my top eating experiences of late. I had lunch at Flora at New Yard, absolutely stunning ambience, excellent food, fabulous staff. Highly recommend.

prawn starter overcooked outside, cold in middle, sent back, mains just as bad, old fat, not fresh, no idea, never again

Bit of a tourist spot. Went once and food was well below average I have also seen photos of them supporting illegal hunting, poor values.
