What a great find, we rang this pub to see if we could have a table for 6 people for Sunday lunch with short notice and they kindly squeezed us in even though they were short staffed. The staff were friendly and welcoming and lunch was amazing, clear plates all round. Portion size was very good, plenty on the plate, and reasonably priced. I will definitely revisit and recommend to others x

Read a travel book a while back, about a coastal walker pooing in for a hedgehog ice-cream, made from Cornish clotted cream and was advised to comeback in the morning for their sausages cooked in clotted cream. We tried the ice-cream recently and can't recommend them enough, now need to loose a other stone and possibly a heart bypass..but i will be back! Try to be clever ( out of hours /season or walk down hill) if using carpark, as gets expensive if just going for an ice-cream.

Seated in the “snug” and served by perhaps the friendliest waitress on the planet. Food was outstanding both in variety, freshness and flavours. I especially recommend the lobster poke bowl. Top class cocktails too. So good we booked to go back before we leave Cornwall

We popped in for takeaway pizza on our way back from the beach and after a cheeky pint at the Driftwood Spars…. This place did not disappoint, pizzas were a good size, dough was fresh and well cooked and plenty of toppings…..tasted great too! A surprise was the amount of craft beer available to purchase, well worth a visit!

Saw a write up somewhere at the end of the summer saying this pub had been voted Pub Of The Year by Visit England so I thought it would be nice to give it a try. What better an opportunity than for my birthday? Nice simple online booking which is always a bonus for me. It was just under an hours drive from us along the lovely new A30, half term was finished so it was quieter than usual thankfully. Staff were really friendly and the pub is beautiful inside, laid out nicely, plenty of tables but without being cheek by jowl to anyone else. We both ordered roast beef, there was a bit of a wait for the food to come but you don’t mind when you know it’s all fresh and comes out looking and tasting like it did. Portion size was absolutely spot on and came with extra gravy in a jug which is a nice touch. Highly recommend and will definitely be back before the start of the next summer season. Thanks Peterville Inn 😀

General food quality is good. Cooked fresh to order at the time we visited. The portion sizes are the smallest I have ever had from any chip shop. The fish was better size, was fresh and cooked well. Chips are not good value for money. We have been coming for years and it isn’t as good as it used to be. That said the general quality is still good, the low score is not because of the quality. It’s a decent shop with decent quality food, just portion sizes let it down for the chips and general prices are a little higher for items other than fish for the quantity you get.

An old pub full of trinkets and character from the local coast and history of St Agnes. We enjoyed their own ale and other local beers in their wonderful bar with large open beams and a working fireplace. We also ate dinner here and was pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was. Fresh, interesting, seasonal and full of flavour with decent portion size. The staff were friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for much more!

I was on a week's holiday with a friend and our cottage was a mere 5 minutes walk away! We visited three times during the week and had dinner thee on two occasions. The pub is lovely inside with a great atmosphere and serves beers brewed at the brewery just over the road. My friend developed a liking for Lou's Brew while my own favourite was Blue Hills and we both agreed that our beers were in excellent condition.
