I have used Genki all the way through the summer.. and then it changed hands...so sad the lady is lovely and coffee and smoothies are still good Appalling portion control and prices, are sadly this is what has put me off using this place again This is an £8 sandwich below... dry bread and virtual no filling. I'm.so tired of paying for high end prices and being ripped off Cornwall will do itself iver by this! I hope you read this review take a walk up to st agnes Bakery and see their stuffed sandwiches for half the price!!!! Below is what I was offered as a gourmet sandwich No better than Aldi!

I have visited Genki once before and had a salad last time. I decided to try the smoothie bowl as I have never found a good one in Cornwall, I was not disappointed⭐️ Super thick and filling! Good value for money also. The location is cute, could do with some more seating as I see it becoming popular 🙈 Have to say the lady we were served by this time was not as warm as the last, but she was still nice enough. Will definitely be back again.

We arrived at 6.30 (only 1.5 hours after opening) to find that some dishes were sold out - we ordered from what was left and one of us, a vegetarian, was specifically told his dish was ‘on top’ ( all dishes served in a big paper bag) - but it was chicken 😡 When this was attempted to be remedied, he was as told that his first chosen dish was unavailable (as this dish was being served to a fresh customer) 😡 I viewed the current owner (who took our orders and £) was distracted by a group of friends/family sitting directly behind her - that didn’t help and was frankly ‘shoddy’ - enough said I think 😡

We were so lucky to visit this little gem of a cafe. We have visited St Agnes before and are so thrilled to have a new place to visit and enjoy delicious healthy food. The staff were super friendly and the situation of the cafe quite delightful.I particularly liked the fact that with the smoothie bowl you could choose a variety of different toppings and bases. It was a delectable treat that I would throughly recommend to everyone.Needless to say we have visited this cafe a few times this week and also enjoyed coffee and cakes on our way back from beach. On our last visit the owner was very kind as we turned up five minutes before her closing time at 2pm. (Having worked in the catering industry I know how this can feel.) Whilst wearing a cheeky grin we asked if she would mind serving us and she gave us a sweet smile and obliged with nothing but politeness. Thank you for filling our bellies with yummy food and also for making us feel so welcome in your wonderful special village. We look forward to returning again.

Visited today whilst in St Agnes, and sat outside in the pleasant garden area. What struck me first when ordering the platter for 2, a tea and a hot chocolate with soya milk - was I asked to substitute the ham (am veggie!) for some tofu that I’d seen on another dish. Absolutely amazing day spent at The Sharksfin for our daughter's wedding last Saturday. Wow! What a venue! From start to finish everything was wonderful. Great service with happy staff who were enjoying looking after us and wanted to make the day special. The canapes were gorgeous and main meal truly excellent. The Chefs worked their socks off. Would highly recommend. Thank you to Lisa and her whole team. You were fantastic! We will be back for a roast very soon 🙂!

Poor service and virtually no vegan/vegetarian options. Asked for a veggie burger which was on the menu, they didn't have any. Asked what else was vegan, they didn't know. Service was very slow and all front of house seemed uninterested and more keen to huddle round the bar chatting. One waitress was particularly rude, I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend. Lots of much friendlier places in Falmouth.
