I've visited chapel porth for years and honestly it only gets better. The food had always been incredible, but this year was the first time in ages I have had a croque on the beach, as they now have vegan options available too! Everything vegetarian on the menu was able to be made vegan, even the cream, and they had multiple ice cream flavours, alternative milks, cakes, and drinks. Its possible they have for a while and I missed it, but I couldn't be happier. Everything from the meals to the ice creams to the hot chocolate is delicious. There can sometimes be a wait as it gets very busy and it's only a tiny kitchen, but it's well worth the wait, and you're by the beach, life isn't meant to go quickly. Absolutely recommend, even if you're just buying a coffee and a cake, the flapjacks alone are worth a walk down.

Gorgeous little café shack right on Chapel Porth beach. This place is an absolute must to visit if you are in St. Agnes. They serve everything here and are famous for their "hedgehogs" (not what you are thinking as in an actual hedgehog) it's their famous ice cream which is not for the faint hearted nor the dairy intolerant lol! Food was excellent, price is not cheap - but nowhere is in cornwall! They also, more importantly, have delicious coffee (decaf too) and non dairy milk, which is hard to get in cornwall! So it was perfect for me. You can pit stop here and pick up the coastal path to either direction of st. Agnes or to porthtowan or spend the day at Chapel Porth beach and just mooch about and watch the world go by. I came here on a Saturday and there was an organised trail run/hike so it was very busy. As it's a small beach/cove, try and get here early to get a good spot and enjoy having the cafe right there. Great loos, too, which is a huge bonus! Dog friendly too and all the staff there were super sweet kind and helpful. There is plenty of parking which you will have to pay for.

A lovely place to stop on route along the coastal path. There are only two benches to sit at outside the cafe but plenty of other space to rest. We ordered Croque Monsieur but unfortunately it definitely was not a Croque Monsieur that came out but ham & melted cheese in a toasted baguette with garlic. It was pleasant enough but should be described as such.

Totally loved this cove within a cove of top tasty nosh. Perfectly small menu of lush. You’d be guessing correctly if you fathomed that the deserving punters have dog-walked, cliff-scrambled, surfed-along, wind-blown & a tad appetite-gathered. The chunky nutty baguettes drip with garlic butter, lavished with herby sweated onions, topped with cheese or sausage or creamy mushrooms, as the 3 of us contentedly chowed down. Completely prepared to return multitudinous times to make our way through every item as well as the ice cream menu, and will resort to a low calorie diet the rest of the year to allow for this new life necessity. Walked from Wheal Coats down to the beach at Chapel Porth and decided to try the cafe there. The selection of food was amazing considering the venue seems to be a small kiosk and the “Croques” were amazing. I savoured the Croque de Mer with more prawns then a sandwich could handle and the Rosemary Croque was enjoyed by others in my party and this was equally well received. The queue was just too long to try the famous hedgehog ice cream afterwards.

Turned up at 1430 on a Sunday, 30 mins before they close (1.5 hrs before Google says they close!) Greeted by empty display counters, a grumpy lad serving saying "we're open but close soon" I asked what cakes they have and he said "they're in the fridge, what would you want" .... Um how do I know? I can't see what you have! He begrudgingly went to the fridge to read out what they have, and served it in takeaways to make it clear we weren't welcome. I'm all for clearing away toward the end of a shift... I work in hospitality too... But if you're serving for another 30 mins I really don't think the display cabinet should be tidied away at that point. And servers shouldnt be visibly annoyed that you've turned up. Also the brownie and cookie were stale. A shame, I've loved fees over the years but this really ruined my experience.

An excellent choice for our lunch with friends. Beautifully appointed and a lovely lounge area on arrival which is ideal for pre-lunch drinks and menu browsing. The menu was excellent and we were able to have some starters as mains and vice versa to accommodate our appetites. The food was fantastic and very good quality. One of our group commented that the mussels were possibly the best he had ever tasted. A good selection of beers, wines and spirits accompanied the menu perfectly and we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch.
