What a fabulous cafe, the food here rates equally (if not better) with a top restaurant Always consistently good quality, well presented delicious food. New dishes each week and the cakes are irresistible. You can always walk off the calories on the coast path to Prussia Cove or Marazion.

Me and my two friends came across this lovely cafe whilst staying nearby in marazion, we are glad we tried it today as they are now shut for a few weeks. The lady was lovely and the cakes were really nice. The cauliflower cheese pies were amazing! I would definitely recommend!

Booked here for Sunday lunch following a wander up to St Michael’s Mount. Glad we booked, patrons trying to walk in were turned away as fully booked! We had a starter of charcuterie which was delicious but a mistake as the Sunday roast was huge!!!!! We both had mixed meats - succulent beef and wonderful pork. Lovely Yorkshire, roasts and variety of veg - carrot/swede mash, roasted beetroot and apple, a roast parsnip, cabbage and brocolli! We also added the delicious leek and cauliflower cheese and we were given extra gravy! Too stuffed for pudding! HIGHLY recommended!

Had lunch here with a group of friends. Door was locked when we arrived at midday so had to stand outside in the cold waiting to be let in. We were given a long table and the chairs were squeezed so tightly together once you were sat down you couldn’t get out again. We were close to the fire but it didn’t really do much snd several of us kept our coats on all the time we were there. The food was nice and tasty but despite us all preordering it took ages to be served. Parking is alongside the pub in the road or maybe 3/4 spaces opposite.

The pasty maker needs to develop some customer skills, third time this year we have been here, and her simple customer approach has obviously landed in the pasty mixing bowl. If you do not want to have a forward facing job, then stay in the kitchen.

What a SUPER pub! Beautifully kept draught beer, happy and helpful staff and boss and certainly the best fish and chips I've EVER had in Cornwall--- and that's saying something! Theems to be the village hub - was certainly busy enough on a Thursday lunchtime. Well worth getting off the main road for!
