What a fabulous cafe, the food here rates equally (if not better) with a top restaurant Always consistently good quality, well presented delicious food. New dishes each week and the cakes are irresistible. You can always walk off the calories on the coast path to Prussia Cove or Marazion.

Me and my two friends came across this lovely cafe whilst staying nearby in marazion, we are glad we tried it today as they are now shut for a few weeks. The lady was lovely and the cakes were really nice. The cauliflower cheese pies were amazing! I would definitely recommend!

Telephoned to see if the cafe was open today and told it was. 10 mins later we arrived and were told all tables were âreservedâ and no room This is a small tea room which Iâve visited on a few occasions as itâs reasonably local to me. I was pretty shocked that it seems you now need to âmake a reservationâ for a piece of cake and a cuppa! With only 5 tables this seems ridiculous Wonât be going again and will be advising my family and friends that unless they make a reservation they wonât get in or even be told the information if they ring!!! Sorry guys, understand youâve a business to win but what about us locals who just want a nice place to go with a friend for a catch up and cuppa. Having supported you when you first opened I am sad to see the tea room has now turned into this Also like to add there is no car park so parking is in street. Good luck with finding a place to park!!!!

Booked here for Sunday lunch following a wander up to St Michaelâs Mount. Glad we booked, patrons trying to walk in were turned away as fully booked! We had a starter of charcuterie which was delicious but a mistake as the Sunday roast was huge!!!!! We both had mixed meats - succulent beef and wonderful pork. Lovely Yorkshire, roasts and variety of veg - carrot/swede mash, roasted beetroot and apple, a roast parsnip, cabbage and brocolli! We also added the delicious leek and cauliflower cheese and we were given extra gravy! Too stuffed for pudding! HIGHLY recommended!

Had lunch here with a group of friends. Door was locked when we arrived at midday so had to stand outside in the cold waiting to be let in. We were given a long table and the chairs were squeezed so tightly together once you were sat down you couldnât get out again. We were close to the fire but it didnât really do much snd several of us kept our coats on all the time we were there. The food was nice and tasty but despite us all preordering it took ages to be served. Parking is alongside the pub in the road or maybe 3/4 spaces opposite.

Food was lovely but the service was terrible. We ordered some lunch and an ice cream for my daughter. When we asked for a vanilla ice cream the lady serving responded with âwe donât have any vanilla leftâ, followed by a long awkward silence. I then asked if they had any other flavours available and we chose. After completing our order we sat down and after about 5 minutes the lady came to our table again. She said she put our order down as a take away instead of eating in and if we minded that our food would come in take away boxes. She explained that she made a mistake but didnât want to upset the chef. I was amazed she said this! She would rather keep the chef happy than give good service. I said I would like some plates to eat off as we were sitting down inside. She then rolled her eyes and agreed. Absolutely shocking service, Iâve never experienced anything like this before and would never go back.

What a SUPER pub! Beautifully kept draught beer, happy and helpful staff and boss and certainly the best fish and chips I've EVER had in Cornwall--- and that's saying something! Theems to be the village hub - was certainly busy enough on a Thursday lunchtime. Well worth getting off the main road for!

The pasty maker needs to develop some customer skills, third time this year we have been here, and her simple customer approach has obviously landed in the pasty mixing bowl. If you do not want to have a forward facing job, then stay in the kitchen.

Just had roast dinner & it was absolutely delicious. The beef was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth and the vegetables & potatoes were amazingly flavoursome. Will most definitely be returning as the staff were also fantastic and extremely welcoming đ Thank you.
