Beach Box in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Latte extremely hot, scalding, hardly any milk. Ice creams melting immediately, freezer not good. Staff miserable (black haired lady) and impolite. Expect to die in the queue as they’re so slow. Avoid

Some 30 of us on vintage buses stopped here for a pasty lunch and a soft drink. Our organiser ordered and paid in advance which was good as we arrived over several minutes. Nice friendly staff - even had sparkling water as a drink choice. Pay for car parking as you arrive and display on windscreen as beach has automatic number plate recognition so you will be fined even if you go in and decide just to turn around and go somewhere else.

Lady is very rude, I’m deaf I use my phone to type up show to her what I want to order and lady is in bad mood said can’t see read this and not bother to try. How she speak to customer. It’s was 9am. Shame everyone said this amazing food and drink but I was look forward to go there but treat me unfairly.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat after walking back from St Michael’s Mount. Wasn’t expecting a lot from a car park cafe however the food was delicious and they had a good range of options.

The best chicken burger in Cornwall. Me and a friend got the beef burger and the chicken burger and shared both. Very slightly disapointed about the beef pattie but take nothing away from the taste of both burgers. Chips were absolutely delicious too and the staff were very friendly! Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped by here after hearing about their burgers from a friend. Was not disappointed! Great menu - we had the buttered chicken burger. Amazing freshly made sauce and a nicely toasted bun. Why bother going to one of the crappy fast food places on the industrial estate for a cardboard burger when this great eatery is next door! Will definitely return for lunch in the future. Highly recommend!

We found this after a recommendation from our accommodation owners - decided to stop here on the way home and try a bacon naan and wow are we glad we did ! Lovely location to sit on the beach with views over St Michaels mount!

We came across the beach hut in the car park at St Michaels mount and had missed lunch so this was a last resort. Wow, we were so surprised. Our expectations were low but ordered a couple of fish finger hotdogs and crab fries to sit and eat in the car whilst we waited for the rain to pass. This was another superb meal to add to the other great experiences we’ve had of the food quality since we arrived in Cornwall. The fish finger hot dog was served in a great quality brioche style roll with fresh salad and a lemon and herb Mayo, very tasty. The crab fries were gorgeous, I’m inspired to have a go at these when I go home, soft brown crab mixed with Mayo and chilli salt perfectly contrasting the crisp skinny fries. 😍

Well where to start… Discovered Beach box last Sunday after getting us some fries and ice cream only to get told by Lawrence (Ocean High) that the food was really good! So I made it the day after to check them out and he was totally right! Awesome burger (reminds of my mums 😁) beautiful iced coffee and cream and great fries. Had to come back today and same result. I didn’t think it was a place to go before they refurbished but now it is so worth it! Do yourself a favor and go… Thanks Beach Box

My daughter said that this was the best chicken burger she had ever eaten! High praise well deserved. The fish finger brioche was delicious as well. Really quick service as well. Well done.

We had a fish finger hotdog it was nice and fresh and well packaged as it was a take away service . Responsible priced and all measures in place .

Delicious crab fries and coffee. Lovely staff, great setting overlooking St Michael’s Mount. Unexpected find on windy day.

Spotted this place when walking to Saint Michaels Mount. I had the plant based burger with a Coca Cola for £8.90. Although the burger was delicious, my only suggestion would be for them to do a meal deal with fries and a drink for under £10 as the price for just the burger was a little steep.

Had lunch today before leaving Cornwall. All had burgers ( 2 x meat + 2 x veggie) and fries. Some of the best we've ever tasted and really excellent value. Don't try to eat by the sea wall or the seagulls will enjoy them.

Stopped off at the Beach Box for a cuppa and a slice of cake after our long day visiting the world famous St Michaels Mount. Situated right next to the main car park it is perfect for refreshments. The car park is great value too at only £4 for a car for the day. Pop in and relax!

Outside seating where dogs are welcome , snacks and drinks , friendly staff , set Sandy children and or dogs are not a problem.
