Me and my two friends came across this lovely cafe whilst staying nearby in marazion, we are glad we tried it today as they are now shut for a few weeks. The lady was lovely and the cakes were really nice. The cauliflower cheese pies were amazing! I would definitely recommend!

Amazing coffee and hot choc to take away, make sure you wander up the hill to find it a few minutes away from the shops. It's a takeaway coffee emporium and deli. No longer a cafe. We had coffee every day it was open, from '10 ish' ! Often a small queue forming waiting for it to open. Cakes, pastries, coffee syrups, Cornish cheeses, artisan bread, chutney, salt, various Isle of Wight tomatoes and IOW produce as well. Staffed by lovely ladies! You're amazing, wish we lived close by as we'd go every day.

Absolutely lovely bakery! Super stylish inside and outside selling great drinks and bakes. All their bread and pastries are made by a Cornish bakery and then they make all of the cakes and scones themselves. Also sell a nice range of deli jars and pasta. We will miss our daily visit now that we’re back home.

Popped to this lovely little bakery when visiting a few months ago. The lady running it was most delightful and very friendly. As for the food, it's difficult to explain how delicious it was. Her cinnabun was absolutely out of this world. We went back the next day as I needed another one and I noticed her almond croissants. These was simply incredible! I am returning in May and shall be heading straight there for more of her delights!

They no longer seem to be operating as a cafe, but we were happy to take some things away in expectation that the food would be as good as the reviews here suggested. We decided on a 'cream tea', i.e. scones with jam and cream plus some sourdough bread. Well, the scones were dry and not a patch on my wife's (yesterday's scones), and the jam and cream were in little plastic pots and nothing special. The bread was OK but not as nice as we'd bought in Sainsbury’s two days earlier. Don't waste your money here.

Delicious coffee - some espresso derivatives are made far too hot and it spoils the taste - coffee here was just right. We also had a cinnamon roll and a blueberry bake well slice - perfect. We stumbled across the copperspoon by chance. We had been at the near by Marazion beach when we took a stroll into the beautiful town. The window displays of freshly made scones, cakes and cookies caught our attention. As it was a blustery day we felt a hot chocolate was what was needed. We were not disappointed. Firstly we were greeted and chatted about our visit to the beach. While our hot chocolates were being being prepared, the staff advised us of a good spot to sit and drink with stunning views over to St Michael's Mount. We took the advice and took our drinks to the Green Landing near by and yes the scenery was breath-taking. The drink was very chocolatey and covered in cream, marshmallows and a flake. Yummy This warmed us up nicely for another walk along the beach back to our car.

Have been to many cafes and restaurants since lockdown rules were lifted, and am well mindful of keeping to social distancing rules. So, when I am stood outside on the road looking in and the cafe person is inside behind a table - and a queue of people in between - it felt like social distancing is being used as an excuse to justify rudeness. After that unpleasantness, I couldn’t be bothered to spend another minute nearby, much less buy anything. Plenty of other friendly places in the town with good coffees and teas.

We first visited this cafe 2 years ago when we stayed in Marazion. In more normal times it also does delicious lunches and allows dogs inside. At the moment though it is take away only so it is coffees, cakes, scones soups and breads. I was delighted to see it open and doing well when we visited Penzance this year. In fact we went 4 times in a week so we could try out their delicious cakes and support a small local business. We were never disappointed. The white choc and blueberry brownies were magnificent. Other family members also gave their “normal” choc brownies 10 out of 10 which is very rare. Cinnamon rolls were also excellent. Not greasy and very cinnamony. Coffees also excellent with a choice of dairy and non dairy milks. We also tried the sourdough bread and focachia which were both excellent. Really recommend this lovely local cafe which is run by lovely friendly ladies.

This was my first taste of the lovely food at the Copper Spoon - unfortunately due to this unusual situation we are all in, we couldn't enter the cafe, but we were very lucky that Tuesday, the day my son Alan and my daughter-in-law Joanna brought me to Marazion, was the first day that the Copper Spoon re-opened to serve takeaway items! We had a slice of cake, a chocolate cupcake and a cheese scone with some drinks. Well, they were all delicious and I loved my cheese scone so much that I sent my son back to get another half a dozen! We will all be back as soon as possible to try some more lovely food and look forward to the time when life gets back to normal and we can go in for a meal! The Copper Spoon was a place I had visited many, many years ago and I had the pleasure of visiting again last month. It was really worth it. A pot of Tregothnan tea went down a treat alongside some pancakes which were a little different to what I had envisaged but nonetheless very filling! You can tell the staff work very hard and this is undoubtedly visible from the brilliant masterpieces being made in the kitchen. The major observation is that there is not enough seating within - something I doubt is easily rectifiable - but there are many customers who are itching to get inside for a cup of tea and bite to eat!

A small but very cosy and welcoming tea room in the pretty little town of Marazion. Despite being crammed full and really busy, the staff (owners?) were so friendly and somehow made time for all their customers. The real star, however, was the delicious cream tea! I've had a fair few in my time but I honestly don't remember a better one than this; two huge and beautifully baked scones, fabulous strawberry jam (blackberry also available I think which I'd love to come back and try!) and the most amazing Cornish clotted cream, all washed down with a lovely and much needed pot of English tea. Managed to take home a 'kernow curl' too, new to me but one of my new favourite things (bit like a less stodgy, more bready, bread pudding which I also love!)! There's a pretty full menu and if it's all anything like as good as the cream tea, then this place is a true gem. Probably just as well for my waistband I live about 300 miles away but I will definitely make a point of going back next time I am anywhere near and I suggest you do too!

We ordered cream teas for adults and the kids had the most amazing homemade lemonade and lemon cupcakes. The cream tea was the best I’ve had! The scones were fresh and warm and a perfect size, the jam was lovely. Thank you so much.

If you can wait until 10ish for breakfast then you might enjoy this one. Small so get there at opening time for a seat. Good coffee but don’t expect bacon and eggs! Baked beans were pretty bland but smashed avocado was good.

Went there every morning for a large skinny latte and toast for breakfast. Really good location as 10 footsteps from my holiday apartment! Excellent service from all the staff and friendly too. Couldn't help you enough. Had beans on toast with cheese for final day breakfast and it was yummy

While staying in the area myself and my mother were desperate to try this place as it looked lovely! So we decided to pop in one morning before heading off on a bike ride. We both had coffees and I had some cinnamon toast which was I N C R E D I B L E! The coffee was delicious too! Everyone there was so friendly and we were chatting with both staff and other customers which made it a very welcoming atmosphere. A great place just outside of the main town and would recommend to anyone looking for a good coffee (or some fab latte art)!

The cream tea was delicious....2 scones! We were offered more jam and cream if we wanted it. Small and cosy cafe with excellent service.

This is a real gem, dog friendly and focuses on vegetarian and vegan food. It offers a good selection of homemade meals, snacks and cakes and delicious coffees. It is a relatively small café with only a few tables so get there early if you are having lunch. We visited twice, once for afternoon tea and once for lunch which was a courgette tart with room left for freshly cooked banana pancakes. The other half was now addicted to the Chia Latte, so much so the owner made him some Chia syrup to take away.

Whilst having a stroll around Mousehole we came upon the Orange Cafe Bar by chance with it being up a lane just away from the harbour. We did not immediately realise it was a vegan cafe but that was not an issue for us. The staff were warm and friendly, explaining the dishes so that we could make an informed choice. We went for the burger (patty) and cake, both of which were delicious. People often shy away from eating this type of food but on this showing they should give it a go, which saw two diners leave very happy.

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

Delicious coffee in a beautiful location. Dogs very welcome! With an on-site natural pet shop and a large car park.

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!
