The best restaurants in Christchurch South West

Fuimos para el almuerzo de domingo y tenía al asador. Nos quedamos muy decepcionados con la calidad de la comida en nuestra última visita. Había variedad muy limitada de verduras y hortalizas que había, estaban cubiertas en una salsa de crema fuerte de degustación.

Popped in to try the food as it looked like a busy venue. The food was fantastic and the staff and locals were very welcoming and friendly! Would recommend this place highly. Very nice to sit outside and watch the world go by in the summer.

Waited 20 minutes to get a coffee....and the queue was only 8 people when I joined! Only one person serving. Friendly enough and doing his best....surely one more serving would be possible?!...and lead to a lot more business. Ridiculous!

We went to The Ship for a family get together over the Christmas period. We were looked after from the moment we arrived until we left. This is a lovely place to meet up and the food is absolutely amazing. A big shout out to the chefs. We were looked after by Eddie who was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for him. Thank you Eddie 👍. I would recommend The Ship to everyone and if I could give it more stars I would.

Great location for shopping or just grab a quick coffee and a bite to eat. Always great coffee and place to work.

Completely different meal to what I ordered I want a refund

I am vegetarian and service guy was touching meat and serving me a salad Told him that I am vegetarian could you please change the gloves and then serve me and the guy replied oh Subway is not for vegetarian people so if you have a problem, then you shouldn’t come Rude unacceptable Disrespectful behaviour from this Subway I’ll never go again Also, I am doing complaint to Subway that as far as I know a vegetarian people can enjoy Subway

After we walked around this beautiful surrounding area we went into the Haven House cafe and had a lovely beacon bap and coffee. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Very friendly staff very reasonable

Long time to wait for food due to there being one guy taking orders and one doing the food cooking and handing out the orders. Lots of people hanging around by the hatch making it difficult to get through when your number is called, they could do with asking people to stand and wait elsewhere. When our food did arrive one of the orders was wrong although I queried this immediately and was given an immediate cash refund. Chips were nice, not at all greasy although there were rather a lot for one portion with the fish! Perhaps a bit too much batter on the fish also.

Great taste, quick service and quality food

Well. The location is nice. The service was friendly and timely. Unfortunately my milkshake arrived warm. £16 for a teeny piece of cod, mushy peas and about 20 dry chips is really not good enough. For the same you can get way more cod and chips elsewhere. Sorry. We left disappointed.

First time visit with family. Loved Mudeford quay itself. Beautiful place. Popped into cafe, initially just for couple of hot drinks but grandson decided he'd try a breakfast. So the drinks were fine but 25 minutes later and still waiting for breakfast to appear. Strange, especially as people who had been behind us in the queue seemed to have already been served theirs. Although I did notice another customer who had been directly in front of us still waiting on his too! Eventually he got his. So brought it to the attention of one of the girls who said she'd sort it out. Few seconds afterwards a waitress came wandering about the cafe with a single breakfast. We had given table number and name but however we able to claim said breakfast. My grandson got on with it because he was hungry and so I didn't realise that most of it was actually cold..hash brown was the only thing vaguely warm. We didn't have time or the inclination to wait for another breakfast. Had it have been for me it would have gone back! I accept mistakes happen but they must have known that it had been sat there in the kitchen and just didn't seem that bothered. Just not good enough..very disappointing.

Bad bad bad...less than average food and very long waiting time. Misleading signs making you waste time in the drinks queue for a refill only to be told to move to the other queue because "they are busy" - then take off the sign ffs...you're better of somewhere else buying food and drinks

Ordered a once a month treat, food was awful unless you like eating raw white pepper, and god forbid you complain you will be condescended too, because you don’t know what your talking about, awful food not matching menu worse customer service I put three dishes in the bin after one taste, big waste of money
