Subway in Christchurch

Had a breakfast sub....bread was odd...poached egg was nasty....no deals....Latte was about 100 degrees....no brown sauce.Not good

Chicken Tikka sub for lunch, tasted good, but an afternoon on the toilet suggests otherwise. Suggest they look at their hygiene practices and product dates.

Ordering a meatball sub on Uber eats, comes cold. When I phoned up they said about the drive then because wasn’t on the order, I went back through the order process and there was NO button for toasted. Probably just couldn’t be asked as they was closing.

After months of putting off subway because of our last horrible experience in another store. We decided to try again and it's an understatement to say we were pleased. The staff were so friendly and helpful and catered to our needs despite being a full restaurant (outside as well) and a bit of a queue. I didn't quite catch the 2 members of staffs name but they worked very well together to support their customers and provide a speedy service. All in all a great experience and although I know the last one should've been a one off, it was still nice to have faith restored.

Always enjoy eating here, small place , but good value.

A great place to buy a cheap-ish freshly made sandwiches. There is a very small eating area outside. A small amount of parking is outside or you could use Wick Street carpark.

Rang to update my order, asked for olives and salad to be added. Created by someone who just seemed to repeat what I was saying and failed to understand anything. Asked where I ordered and said Christchurch, then he put down and refused to answer again!

absolutely terrible waited ages to be served i ordered PLAIN chicken and bacon was given SPICY CURRY chicken, after waiting so long to be served and finally get the food i drove down to the sea to enjoy my subway to find the order was wrong this happened friday night i wasted 9.50 of my money as i couldn't eat the food as i detest spicy curry food taste. was a big dampner that night and had to go hungry as they got my order wrong. never had any issues with subway and used them for years so disappointed tbh refund should be offered or compensation would avoid this subway

Ordered a uber and they had ran out of spinach because they had none left they gave me two cookie for free which they didnt have to do.ive ordered from here a few times now always what I ordered or if not they gave me something to make up for it and its always been very small so never really made a huge difference. 👏

I have been tens of Subway so far. This one is the best. It's absolutely perfect service . The manager is very friendly.

To be fair this subway is the best one I've been to , the staff are nice and friendly, the food there is amazing and especially the food is all fresh

An excellent place, used to live there few years back and subway breakfast was one of the main options along with a cup of coffee. Visited it after a long while - gosh, 6 years. But their service is still the same. I know subway as a chain is struggling worldwide but it’s the team and their service. If you are in Christchurch High street, subway is one of the main places you would want to visit. Really Friendly and efficient staff. Thumbs up

Not great. After 9am I was expecting a choice of bread but only white available. The poached egg turned out to be half a boiled egg. The salad was the smallest portions possible. I tried to pay with points but either the sandwich artist didn't understand or he didn't know how to facilitate this kind of payment. I see from my receipt that he deducted points and charged me the full amount.No redeeming features to encourage a return visit.

No free wifi for its customers? I'm appalled beyond belief..c'mon its 2019 Sandwich thingy and drink was good.

Clean, friendly staff and a fast service. Very easy to find and a table outside which was handy having the young kids and dogs.

subway you know its fresh and tidy , good quick service , menu clear and pricing clear always good value , i had the meat ball marinare always good

The older member of staff called Yolanda is consistently rude to staff and customers. She has made racist remarks on a number of occasions and told myself and other customers that they can’t have certain fillings!

Food is good but the older staff woman needs to control her mouth , she was rude to the younger staff member who was perhaps new but friendly, the woman needs to understand that she works at the place and not own it, surely a few sweet corns won't hurt anyone ! Please have some sense and try to keep your colleague and customers happy and make your life easy. Cheers !

This is meant to be open until 20:00. I went in with my son at 19:00. They had run out of some ingredients but worse, we were not allowed to sit down to eat (chairs were on the table) and therefore we could not use the never ending drink offer. I complained and was told by the (incredibly rude) woman there that she had been working all day since 07:00 without a break and was tired and it takes an hour to clean the floor and we were definitely not allowed to eat in the restaurant an hour before closing. We will never go there again. I left and the some people in there approached me and said they had the same issue and that another group of people had as well, and had left without ordering. Awful service, missing ingredients , and in this visit alone I can count 8 customers lost who will never eat there again. Well done. 

Miserable woman serving, filling get smaller each week, price going up. I'm off to McDonald's , will close like rest of Christchurch before long if they dont improvr

Took our grandsons there for lunch. The young man who served us with the bread and meats was quite polite. However the woman who did the salad fillings, drinks and took our money was incredibly rude. Didn’t crack a smile the whole time we were there. Very abrupt. Didn’t feel welcome there at all. Definitely won’t be going there again.

I go to lots of Subways this one was very poor in comparison, it just didn't taste like it should the bread wasn't as good as usual so very disappointing

Food excellent, witnessed an older staff woman belittling two younger staff members that were very friendly and helpful to me; “it’s not rocket science, but maybe for you it is,” amoungst other rudeness. Really disgusting way to talk to someone in the workplace. Can’t imagine what it’s like working with that.

Food is good - standard Subway fayre and reasonable prices; the staff are friendly and helpful. The store is kept clean and tidy, and the tables have always been cleaned regularly whenever I've attended this branch. The meatball marinara is always hot and tasty - recommended!

Got there just before a massive lunch queue formed ! Very lucky, very busy but great friendly efficient staff who were very patient with us and the boys. Quite clean inside and quick service. Would re visit.

We ordered 2 6inch subs,(when the assistant had finished his cig break !) He wasn't a very happy chappy,but was polite and efficient. Subs were ok,quite tasty ( 1 tuna,and 1 Teriyaki chicken).Very average.

Sehr zentral an der High Street gelegen, typische Sandwich-Auswahl, die Sandwich sind eher klein und die Preise nicht so günstig. Macht insgesamt einen etwas heruntergekommenen Eindruck. In der Nähe gibt es einige bessere Optionen für einen Snack.

just fed up waiting to be served now, been queuing 20 minutes at Subway, cold food, no serviettes either

Buen servicio y muy amable, aunque no tienen todo tipo de pan, dos de seis onay. Decidimos comer y nos hubiera gustado no las mesas no había sido limpiado y el piso estaba pegajoso de nuestros tragos y derramada sucia, las papeleras estaban abarrotadas y sucia, estaba deseando salir y no se ti volver.No estoy seguro de qué es lo que pasa con esta cadena ya que es el segundo que he visitado donde la higiene era tristemente deficiente

I usually buy a subway to have in the Regent Centre to eat with whatever production is going on. It is tasty and very enjoyable as per usual. I will be going back again for another SubCinema Fest!

Sorry to the High Stree Subway but your new one in Barrack Road isn't listed! We visited the Barrack Road establishment recently during the evening and opted to have our meal in! While sitting there a male employee started to sweep up which is okay in itself except he used the same brush used on the floor as he did on all the tables! He did not wipe the tables down after this! An example of poor hygiene and practice! We won't be returning

I get exactly £10 transferred into my bank account every Friday. Today is Saturday and I went into subway and bought a spicy Italian 6 inch with a cookie and drink. This is theory should have costed no more than £4. The man working asked me if I wanted my receipt and as he asked his hand was already in the bin (he was hiding the fact that he overcharged me). I then went into Poundland and my card was declined. This confused me as I only tried paying for £3 worth of things from Poundland. I went to the bank after and realised that I had £1 in my bank. The subway man charged me £9 for a 6 inch, cookie and drink. When I get my bank statement, you're in serious trouble subway! I will then have proof. Ps, please sack whoever ripped me off and slyly tried to hide it. He was working Saturday 15th at around 1-3pm. Thank you. Sorry, I do not usually rant but £10 to me is awful lot being as young as I am.

Disappointed with half cup of coffee. Not as good as usual Subway drink. Staff could benefit from a customer care course.

1st visit to subway, impressed with the package. £3.00 for a fresh made 6 inch roll and a machine made coffee. Service was quick at 3pm Really enjoyed and will be going back again

The food is always lovely however I often am deterred from going in as loud and rude teenagers make me feel uncomfortable with their vulgar language! I feel that they should be kicked out when the language becomes inappropriate!

Just like a normal subway that you get anywheresome staff are terrible = should be fired.At lunch time you get the kids all hang outside sitting on subways chairs thinking they are to cool for school. so you end up hearing there blasting music and stepping in there mess.subway staff should move them on.Other than that , not bad at all.

Handy position in town centre and okay for a quick lunch or pre theatre snack. Food is the usual selection and standard you expect from Subway. Staff do their best, but on my few visits there does not seem to be enough of them. Leaving one young man struggling alone on a Sunday lunch time means no opportunity to clear tables and creates a grubby and unwelcoming eating experience. It is probably best to stick with takeaway rather than eating inside except at very quit times.

Subway is always good for lunch or a snack, smaller than most subways but seating is adequate. Usual standard of service ( staff efficient and helpful )

I went into subway the other day whilst visiting a friend in Christchurch, it was fast yet fresh however I could barley understand the man behind the counter who was serving me. I ordered a spicy Italian on 6' hearty Italian bread with toasted cheese, it was very fast and they offered seating where me and my friend took a seat to have a lovely catch up, the drink was refillable and easy. I would recommend this for a quick bite to eat in the area.

nice coffee and snack situated right next door to the regent Theatre in the main high street in Christchurch town centre

This Subway is actually in part of the Regent Centre building, and with many other restaurants expensive in the evening, a good place for a quick meal. Had the weather not been so cold, maybe more people would have been dining, instead of just me, but the audience next door were mainly retired., One staff member was coping, and everything was up the standard I am used to. It is good to pay by touch debit card, and use up vouchers Subway send you. Fast food fans should bear in mind that KFC and McDonalds are some distance from the town centre, so the High street is best for breakfast choice when more cafes are open.

What a change hot food and edible had a chicken sandwich and salad . The seats were nice and the shop was warm

Not going to knock this place too much as staff were great , service quick & helpful , But .... did not like the fillings But saying that the bread (Subs ) were very good quality & lovely warm / toasted but shame about the fillings
