Mcdonald's Restaurants in Christchurch

Me and my friend came through the drive through on Wednesday the 30th of October and were served by the nicest gentleman ever! We were greeted by a man called Maxxie at 7:30pm. He was super professional and very polite. He had unfortunately hurt his arm and finger so he said he was on the window rather than the kitchen but honestly he was such a delight and was super nice to talk to! Thank you Maxxie! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good food friendly atmosphere and very clean

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Sean and the staff, and also the customer Roxy and her husband who helped my husband when he passed out on your floor. He's doing really well - grazed nose and 3 stitches in his eyebrow, but your assistance helped us both enormously. We'll see you one day soon for a burger xxx

Where to start? The burgers were cold and, despite being grill orders, were not fresh. I'm quite sure the extra ingredients were simply added to burgers that had already been made. The fries were soft and tasted like they'd been in the fry station for at least ten minutes. The nuggets were similarly stale and soft. Neither drink had ice even though only one was modified to remove it. To top it all, none of the order came in promotional Monopoly packaging even though the competition was still running at the time. It didn't help that there were noisy, screaming kids in the restaurant, but that's not the staff's fault. Honestly, the success rate of this branch of McDonald's to provide food of a decent standard is around 50/50. You might be lucky but you are far better off heading five minutes up the road to the Barrack Road branch as the food quality is consistently outstanding by comparison. We are thoroughly disappointed and will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Was served raw fries.... phoned to tell them she asked me if I was sure 🤣 haha the chips were white pale soggy stuck together floppy not crispy inedible. I only phoned to save more complaints and instead I'm spoken to like an idiot! Avoid.

I have been to this restaurant twice and both were very good. Quick service to the tables and the food was as I wanted. The vegetarian burger could be better but the rest was good. The portions of ice-cream bit short but the coffee was very nice. The tables were clean and lots of staff going in and out because probably was the switch of the teams. It is plenty of space to park and a room for children's separate from the main restaurant. The toilets are at the entrance, so easy so find.

The burgers were a little hard (overcooked) and the buns were stale.

When I placed the order it said it will be delivered by 18:30, but it was only delivered at 19:10. The fries were cold and rubbery, the milkshakes were melted so much and barely cold. Not my best experience with McDonalds/Just Eat delivery.

Had the £3.00 offer 3 items small berger small fries and apple pie couldn't fault it

awful, food was delivered freezing cold and i had to wait way over an hour for it

Food never arrived, order was costantly getting delayed, and then the order went from preparing to delivered. No-one has been to our house, and just eat customer service is non-existant.

Good drive thru, staff very pleasant

I ordered the new promo twix latte and like it’s shown in the photos I expected there to be whipped cream and the toppings, however there wasn’t. When I went over to the counter to ask them about it one of the coworkers just told me it melted through and left, which I find was completely rude and unprofessional so I’m not ordering that again.

I was sat in the drive thru for around 20 minutes while the other lane was going thru I then order in the window after complaining about not being served they got my order wrong 2 times and then being very rude about it then when she final got it right my flatbread was freezing cold I'm appalled by the lack of service and how un cooperative the staff were this was my worst experience at this place very disappointed

When opening our bag to the food our large and medium fries were both missing a large amount of the actual fries (driver must have eaten them) and my milkshake had less milkshake in then normal(yet again the driver)

Food was cold. Burger box had been placed in the bag on its side and all the contents had fallen out. Forgot the sauces which we paid extra for so we could have them with the chicken nuggets.

It's maccas what do you expect? cheap food delivered quickly and not going to give you food poisoning.

Was great until my son chocked on his drink only to discover there was a coffee bean in his drink that got sucked up his straw!!!

Gave me the wrong items in my order, which had something I cannot consume.

Food cold and squashed. Driver said drinks and ice cream given to him but waited ages for food. Spilt drink over do nut so soggy and drink half empty. Quite rubbish really

Horrible service. I waited about 15 mins at drive thru & no one spoke whilst others were getting served at the lane on my right. I had to change lanes to get my order. Also always mess up my order I ask for 2 plain cheeseburgers and a plain McChicken and they put gherkins, lettuce and ketchup on my cheeseburgers and mayo and lettuce in my McChicken.

Time kept changing. Over an hour late and freezing cold food which nobody ate. Even the man said driver mustve been cancelled its cold and complaining

The signature burgers have finally arrived at this branch! There are really decent burgers and my order was cooked very well. The place was clean and tidy. Service was quick and the food was both hot and fresh. This branch (as with most others) has touchscreens to place orders, or confirm orders placed in advance. Staff are always helpful and friendly (my wife spilled tea on the floor and herself - the staff made sure she was ok, cleaned up rapidly and gave her a replacement tea). A great branch of McDonald's.

Unhappy with experience with restaurant and just eat. Delivery time when placing order was 15-30 mins. Delivery took one hour to arrive and half the order was missing. Trying to get just eat to help is impossible- there is no way of contacting them. Have requested a refund but don’t want a refund - want the food we ordered and had to wait and hour for.

Driver didn’t read notes and just left my food at the door instead of calling me. Food was left outside for 15 minutes.

Very tight car park. Not a lot of places to park. Food was normal McDonald's . Quick food on the way to meet friends.

Sitting in drive thru waiting for acknowledgment from the voice in the box, 2 people went through the right lane and still no voice. If it’s broken put a cone there and shut the lane. If it’s working, pull your finger out and serve the customers in order.

Once again McDonald’s forgot my child’s orange juice for the 3 rd time I’m fed up of calling them everytime to be given a code for next time, doesn’t help my 5year old child who is having a meltdown down

Ordered at 07:09 arrived 08:03. Order time was changed from 7:20 this is a very disappointing experience. My partner didn’t get her food as she had to go to work.

Ordered food some bits didn't arrive. Coffee was shocking then looked at my little boys milk and was out of date handed it to girl she couldn't see what was wrong had to point it out .play area awesome but does make up for poor service and product management

This olace it absolutely awful alway forget food that I pay for with my own hard earned money and steal from you over the last 3 week I ve ordered cheese bites 5 time and they’ve forget them every time so do the maths, 2.29x5= £11.45, so they’ve basically stole £11.45 off me and its bang out of order that a big franchise company steal from you

we bought a bundle of 4: burger and chips plus other stuff and we received just 3 burger instead 4 so someone didn't eat plus the customer service denied to refund for the burger that was missing....this is absolutely unacceptable I paid for it and they stole my money...well done!!!

got my order wrong Husband ordered ham burger with JUST ketchup and onion yet gained cheese burger with extra ketchup and last time I ordered we asked for 12 ketchups Didn't even get 1 !!!!!

It’s not often I leave a McDonald’s thinking wow! We visited here on a visit to Christchurch and I was impressed. The store was very clean and tidy! Debbie cleaned our table the minute we got up and I passed on my thanks. The food was hot and fresh and enjoyable. McDonald’s head office should be giving this store a reward because it was brilliant. Thanks again!

ordered and app said to expect it st 16.08. Still not delivered at 16.50. App said order was still being prepared. Rang them and spoke to the manager who said already delivered on her tablet. Nothing received at all. subsequently Status of the order was changed to delivered. this is theft. Complaint lodged and will never use again. Swindled us out of over £30!!!

One of the drinks had leaked and it wasn’t the warmest meal we have ever had. Wasn’t that impressed and probably won’t order a delivery from MacDonalds again.

food is cold , ordered 2x double big Macs received normal big Macs, no sweet chilli dip x2 they were missing and I ordered a vanilla shake and you have sent banana not impressed

The entire order apart from orange juice and a cookie was incorrect. I immediately phoned the restaurant and was told he would replace if I came to store or to complain through just eat who are yet to respond and this was 3 hours ago. Colossal delivery fees and service charge and the office breakfast was a juice.

guy gave me the bag open and wrong food items, not happy.

I don't believe that the courier was at fault. However, the food took an awfully long time to arrive at which point it was cold and horrible. The fries were a mixture of cold and soggy and extremely hard and crispy. The nuggets were also cold and had a terrible texture. If a courier is not available then the customer should be made aware and not waiting until just before 11pm to receive their order.

It came 2 hours late. I spent £33.83 and not one item i orded was in the bag but 9 chicken nuggets chips and 2 ketchup dips witch i didnt order, it was cold and stale nothing was in the box. Really disappointing worst experience with juat eat i have

Delivery driver found our house quickly and was friendly.

£17 I paid and received two medium milkshakes and two saver chicken burgers...not happy...

Can't do with all the technology to pay so went to the counter to pay please keep the counter.

The staff works here as if someone told them to work as a punishment. the service is not helpful, the order is incomplete, when I ask for food that I have not received, the manager sends an employee to check whether I did not cheat them in the order. the employee responsible for cleanliness walks around the restaurant like a lifeless zombie, not seeing dirty tables, they should change the manager because she is not helpful at all, she looks like she is angry with everyone. he has a face that says - don't come closer.

Delivery missed the small ice cream.

The delivery time kept changing, from the time of placing the order it took 1.5hrs. First time and last time of using this delivery service. All the hot food was cold. Not happy at all.

over 3o mins after we asked for delivery. I understand that delays happen but then we had items missing.

My coffee had spilt all over the place I had less than half a cup some had gone in my sons milkshake ruining that and it had leaked all into the food bad contaminating there food

The main two things that were ordered was missing. And both of the drinks came warm even though they were both fizzy drinks so they shouldn’t be warm at all. Not impressed at all.

What is wrong with McDonalds nowadays? the hte quarter ponders were devoid of sauce and salad and the chips were sort of wilted and not crispy. Honestly, a Rustlers quarter pounder is better considering the price...
