Popped in to try the food as it looked like a busy venue. The food was fantastic and the staff and locals were very welcoming and friendly! Would recommend this place highly. Very nice to sit outside and watch the world go by in the summer.

Popped in for a coffee. Looked like a cafe from outside, but inside was more like a bar with a group of locals sat all around the bar We only went in for a coffee but it was the worst I’ve ever had. We couldn’t even drink them

I had a full English while my wife had the vegan version. Both were excellent. Staff is friendly. Seems like the place is popular with the locals. Recommended.

Four of us visited for drinks and lunch. We're given a warm welcome by the friendly barmaid. We only ordered toasted sandwiches but they arrived promptly and were great value.will visit again

At nearby Hoburne Naish, a stay for our 30th wedding anniversary. Stopped here for lunch today. Staff extremely welcoming and couldn't have been more accomodating. Nothing too much trouble. Food absolutely delicious. And set menu such good value. Well done. Wish we lived closer as we would be regulars.

The QuayWe called in for a breakfast on a weekend morning and they were very good to seat us all, 6 and a pushchair . A nice table and a great vibe. All the staff were very attentive and friendly too. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. We all ordered a breakfast and drinks. The Full English was “warm” and really just mediocre. Bacon was very tough too. .

29-31 BargatesAbsolutely awful place. I tried booking a bottomless brunch but could not get hold of them at all, it was almost like they blocked my number. They hadn't organised anything, we had no menu, no pre orders and they wouldn't have even received the deposit if I hadn't gone down there myself. We ended up asking for the deposit back because we no longer had a booking due to their terrible organisation. Deposit refund was refused and they held no accountability despite being unable to provide any food. I would strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs.
