I came for a friends birthday bottomless brunch , food was lovely and Amy who looked after us was absolutely amazing.

Great bar, great food and sports

A lot of food off the menu, the toilets don't have running water. So no facility to wash hands in the ladies. However staff were fantastic and ensured that we had a great time. And this made the difference. Would I come back? Probably not but, on the whole not a bad evening

Absolutely dreadful!!! Booked a bottomless brunch and the whole experience was a joke!!! They didn't have anything available and it was a Saturday.. want mint for your mojito, sorry we don't have any...want vinegar for chips, sorry we don't have any...want some water to wash your hands in the toilet, sorry we don't have any. 🙈🙈 Can't make this stuff up! To top it off, they advertise for catering for gluten free and we're only able to provide chips and plain chicken. The drinks were all watered down and it was not worth the money. Avoid!

thought i’d give cameron’s the benefit of the doubt after swearing i’d never return. never again. power-tripped bouncers that will bully you for absolutely no reason before you enter and then grab you if you speak up about it. avoid this janky little crackhead youth club like the plague.

I didn't have food here but went in with my partner and his friend for the first time. Staff were lovely, quite a quaint establishment..... However for a Friday night and the time we went I expected at least one person to be in there but no one..... Only us! They said they close as 3am and it did start to get more lively but this wasn't until gone 10pm. It does have a pool table and some fruit machines... Classic pub games, plenty of seating also.

Full of children running around with occasional parental intervention. Lots of swearing 🤬, especially in front of the children. Outside area very poorly tended. Only saving grace was sports channels , shall not be returning.

Great evening for a bottomless brunch. Our server was great, patient, and attentive. The food was good, much more filling than it seemed, and the cocktails were very good. Highly recommend: Electric Iced Tea, Kinder Bueno, and the shots; Cameron's 69er, baby Guinness! Xx great fun for a party.

Popped in for an early supper as the bar was over the road from the hotel. Unbelievably good pulled beef chilli and Hunters chicken. Staff was lovely with great service and the chef explained the menu to us. Great find, excellent value and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it if in the area.

Popped in again this weekend and brought my daughter and son in law. As usual the staff were great, the food was fantastic. We got a nacho plate to share as a starter, it was HUGE! Thanks for looking after us again

I didn't purchase food from this venue, but drinks were a good price. Staff were friendly. There's a small sports area which has one pool table and a darts board. The dance floor is also a fairly small area, as is the ladies' toilets. There are only 2 cubicles which are in poor condition and not kept well. There are no mirrors on the wall, and on a busy night, you'll be waiting a while to able to use the toilet. This venue is okay to visit if you're not quite ready to go home after an evening down the pub.

Have had Sunday roast delivered a handful of times and never disappoints. Meat is cooked to perfection and lovely rich flavors throughout. Highly recommended

An amazing place to eat, drink and relax. This place has a wide variety of options on food from thai to classic American style beef burgers at great prices. Also they have great offers on drinks such as 2-1 cocktails and house doubles which you can’t say no to!! The customer service is top notch and will be going back :) would recommend to anyone

Having eaten food from Cameron’s numerous times over the last couple of years I thought it was high time I left a review. The food is absolutely spot on every time and is consistently beautiful. From the roasts on a Sunday to a jungle curry (personal favourite) it is always cooked to an extremely high standard and is always beautiful. Coupled with excellent delivery times on takeaways and you’ll have yourself the perfect night in. Highly, highly recommended.!!!!

was recommended by a friend and was truly deserved of it. food was fantastic, staff were friendly and atmosphere was great. Will be going again especially as they have sports on all around the place. Update: the menu has altered and this has improved the venue so much. Never haven eaten Thai food before, I wasn't overly keen having enjoyed everything I did try, the addition of burgers and various chicken and fish options have given me more to eat and I've not had anything I haven't thoroughly enjoyed

Quiet bar during the week, play pool,and eat.

Drinks, pool table, tv sports and atmosphere decent. But the roided up midget bouncer accused our pal of carrying a knife. Discriminatory and an outright lie. Would not recommend unless you want to be looked down upon by glorified security guards, pretending they’re paratroopers.

I had my first takeaway from Cameron’s last night , and let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest ! Everything was perfect ...I had fried chicken strips which were so juicy and cooked to perfection . The porkie burger was unreal! I would also 100 % recommend the burnt ends . Can’t wait for my next Cheat day to try more of the food

I purchased one of their roast dinners for my Nan for Mother’s Day. The amount of food given was more than generous and the quality of it was amazing. My Nan wouldn’t stop raving about it and kept saying how delicious it was. The staff were extremely helpful and upbeat - which I think everyone needs at the moment. Will definitely order from them again. Thank you guys! :)

We ordered beef and pork roast last night, the quality of food was fantastic and didn't get long to arrive, before the covid we used to go there to watch sport and socialising. Great service and good atmosphere, highly recommend and looking forward to go back

I popped into camerons February 2020 for a drink with the locals and fancied a bite to eat i was recommended the porkie burger it was the most tastiest burger i ever eatwen with homemade coleslaw and triple cooked chips as well as the tasty fruit crumble with custard was to die for highly recommended if you wanna eat out go to camerons as lush beer incredible food its a win win situation

enough to get our first roast yesterday- wow! It’s £15 for a large and none of us could finish it, they’re incredibly generous with the meat portion and it’s worth more than every penny. I find takeaways (especially roast dinners) tend to be small but we couldn’t be happier... definitely ordering again and can’t wait to visit in person!

I ordered a takeaway from here for collection as a treat, i have to say it was one of the best takeaways I’ve had. The burgers are delicious, great quality meat and flavours. The chips are an added bonus, they’re perfectly cooked and chunky! I’ve been in this venue before and have always loved the food and service, but to have the same quality at home is great! I’ve seen they’re doing some work inside, can’t wait to see what it looks like! Keep up the good work Cameron’s, see you soon!

Where do I start lol ... I’ve Ordered from here a few times and love the food. I love that they have a nice fresh variety on the menu. I’ve had the burgers which are incredible especially the porkie burger and blue and bacon. I’m not a big chip fan in general but their chips are amazing. Very thick and Always cooked perfectly. The Sunday Roast dinners are very good especially the lamb and pork belly. Very filling I’ve also never ordered steak from a takeaway before so this was aNice change. So highly recommend. They cooked it to my request and was lovely. The sticky toffee pudding is my favourite. Always get my money’s worth. Delivers boiling hot. Friendly customer service. I Can’t fault them. Definitely my favourite takeaway !

I ordered a “porkie” burger, Mac N Cheese, “burnt ends” brisket, sweet potato fries, chicken tenders, and a chocolate brownie. I was very disappointed with the quality of food and the attention to detail!The porkie burger had NO pulled pork and was under cooked/raw, the Mac N Cheese was like slop. Almost as if the cheese had been added to the water whilst over cooking the pasta. I did NOT receive the brisket at all. Sweet potato fries were soggy and burnt. Chicken tenders were very dry, like eating leather and the brownie were absolutely horrible! Never had anything so bad.Overall the food is not fresh, you can taste that most of the food is reheated or recooked. This is confirmed by the very quick delivery time and the completely disappointing experience.Upon trying to call the restaurant by the contact number they have provided I realised the number is not recognised. Therefore I couldn’t even get hold of them, I can see why if they are sending out this type of food. I will not be ordering from them again, I could have done better at home. Complete waste of money, I feel robbed with their expensive prices. Very underwhelming!

We were searching to find a decent veggie option on a takeaway app, feeling exasperated, we came across Cameron’s. Although not a veggie restaurant, the veggie/vegan options, though maybe not expansive, only about 4 meal options, were absolutely delicious.We had the shredded bbq jackfruit burger and also the nachos, they didn’t disappoint. The portions are generous and the food was well packaged and incredibly tasty.Will definitely get again and also, when we’re allowed to venture out, actually visit!Would recommend, not just for those not wanting to eat meat, but the rest of the menu sounds pretty good too.

Ordered Takeaway from here and found the food to be quite disappointing unfortunately. It all looked really lovely on arrival but the southern fried chicken burger was completely tasteless, no spices or seasonings it was strange. Ordered the ribs- The Bbq Rib sauce wasn’t very nice at all and tasted odd. However the chips were nice as well as the mozzarella sticks too. Good portion sizesSuch a shame as menu looks great but just lacking in flavour and seasoning. Hate to leave a negative review but food was really disappointing.

We had the roast pork today, succulent pieces of pork with lovely perfectly cooked roasties and vegetables, with a delicious gravy, served in a very friendly and pleasant manner. My wife and I commented that we must eat there more often.

We came for my sisters hen do on Saturday. Although we had a good table to sit on the staff were incredibly rude to us the entire duration of being there. I would not recommend or return.

Me and my friends went there for a night out of drinks. We arrived at 10 as we had a table booked. We ended up seeing other friends out which then joined tables which then made 5 of us. At 1.45 we were told to leave by the bar manager for “not spending enough money” he also said “this is not a youth club to come and spend your pennies” me and my 4 friends spent over £200 between us which I feel is a fair amount of money for a night out of drinks. We argued when he told us to leave, he then said he had people waiting who will spend more money. Will NEVER be returning the place is a dumb anyway.

Got removed from the bar as it was too busy and the owners friends wanted seats. Apparently they were “better customers” than us. Rude staff and overpriced drinks aswell as the bouncers encouraging fights Had more fun at funeral

I understand it was the opening after lockdown but to be spoken to like we where a piece of dirt is not acceptable... even the door staff apologised as the manager did nothing but shout in our faces and was unbelievably rude! We waited like we where asked for half an hour to be then told ‘get rid of them’ (to me and my friend)and we weren’t allowed back, I asked the manager what the problem is and he said about ‘social distancing’ ... a little hypocritical when your allowing 50 people stood in a crowded area for the ‘smoking area’ and then try tell me they are all on the same table... what a joke.

My daughters ordered a roast beef dinner for me to be delivered on Sunday. Really good portion of beef on the plate, wonderful roast potatoes, fresh vegetables, a great selection. Gravy and pot of mint sauce. Very tasty apple crumble and custard to follow. Would definitely recommend. Tastiest meal.

After coming to sample the new pan Asian menu it absolutely blew me away full of flavour and easiest way to put it is definitely the best asain food in dorset salt and pepper squid was full of flavour and chicken satay just mouthwatering, don't miss out get here and try it.

I would not recommend this place all the door staff rude...they said i couldn't go in with trainers so i confronted and asked why as its just a poxy bar in Christchurch nothing special about it and then they said i could have gone in if i wasn't being mouthy...its over priced.but if your known by the bouncers you can go in wearing anything you want and again i would not recommend this place

I have bin to this club before and found it amazing.But due to foot were I could not go in on a group night out, then to let 2 people in with the same foot where. Just up setting.

Easily the best roast in Christchurch and quite possibly dorset. You can tell that each ingredient is fresh and prepared on site not frozen crap like basically every other place you go for food. And every bit of food from here is just as good. It is near on impossible to find quality of food this high for such a reasonable price.

I have been here many times just hoping for one good night out, it is dead until about midnight Friday and Saturdays, the rest of the week is completely dead, the atmosphere is awful and as for the dreary music the DJ'S play it is awful. The doorman are as miserable as can possibly be with a typical doorman attitude not welcoming at all. I know a lot of people that wont go just because of the doorman alone. The age range is about 18 to 25, I have never been to nightlife like it. Don't bother to go you will be bored stiff as I was. The lighting is non-existent, bought it from some cheap website and no sub bass bins so tiny sound quality, go to Bournemouth for a proper night out!!!

We visited here after Arcado Lounge closed, when we arrived we were greeted by rude door staff who checked our ID’s and then told us that we weren’t dressed correctly to be let in. I’ve been here before and the experience was okay, and we were aware of the no trainer policy which is fair enough. However, I was told that I needed a collared shirt to get in, despite there being plenty of people who were wearing t-shirts (just like mine) who had been let in. When I bought this up they said it wasn’t about collared shirts, and it was more about the ‘overall outfit’ (whatever that means). Now I’m sure the door staff are real fashionistas but how are you meant to be prepared to go here with an opinion-based dress code? I don’t know if it was just the door staff had something against me or they were overcapacity, but it was just very unprofessional and therefore none of our party will be returning. It was well worth the £15 taxi fayre between us to go to proper clubs in bournemouth.

This was our first visit to Camerons in Bargates, Christchurch. We were not dissapointed, We both had different burgers, i had the porky burger, my friend had the cajun burger, both tasted really good, lovely seasoning and flavour, served hot, by a friendly, happy server. We loved the ambience and music of this venue: definetly visit if you are in the area.

Been here only 3 times in the last year, you probably could have a good night here if it wasn’t for the most awful door staff I’ve ever come across, Constantly trying to get a rise out of people and start fights. The time before last a fight broke out then when outside the two people had calmed down 2 bouncers started pushing one of the people between them eventually making him kick of again. Then on our recent visit 2 of the door staff were constantly trying to aggravate 3 members of our group which ruined the evening. Unfortunately this is the only bar open so late in Christchurch. Just watch out when you go there because the door staff do the complete opposite of what there job is supposed to be.

Easily some of the best food in christchurch also best place in Christchurch for a night out. But food is outstanding.also lovely sharing dishes well worth coming to watch the sports have a drink and share food with friends.

I recently visited the lounge on my own as was left on a work outing. I was confident that I would be fine on my own and was right. I am always looked after by all staff wether they're lending an ear or keeping an eye on me always feel comfortable and protected there!. I always have the best time and meet amazing people on outings there. I have never visited in the day for food or a casual drink but am always being recommended to and will do very soon. Fantastic staff and quality facilities cannot fault it !!

Managed to get a takeaway roast dinner, had the pork belly with all the trimmings and my partner had the roast beef, was delicious! Massive portion size and a good price

Fantastic evening at Cameron’s last night for my 30th bday

Came here with a friend before seeing a show at the Regent Centre as there was a good offer on Table Pouncer. First impressions were great with thw decor though the menu on the table was completely different to what was online. Even so, my friend went to the bar to order the food but she said the barman needed a personality transplant as he mainly grunted and when she asked for the penne Cameron he just said 'what?' and looked confused until one of his colleagues showed it to him on the menu. I had the cajun chicken burger and when they came out they looked amazing. The chips were a bit salty but then I'm one of the few people that never has salt on chips so didn't think much of it. The burger itself started good but the bacon was far too salty for me. I ate it so it wasn't THAT bad but I did end up tasting nothing but salt for about 4 hours after the meal and that's including having a bottle of water at the theatre. My friend really enjoyed her penne and the generous portion size meant she couldn't eat it all but she said it tasted really good. I'd go back (even without the Table Pouncer deal) but would ask them to take the bacon out the burger...or try something else as there were a few things on the menu that sounded great.

When we walked into Cameron's, I wondered if we had made a mistake. At 7:30 on a Saturday evening, it was completely empty apart from a few regulars at the bar. There was no need to worry though, as the food was amazing. Freshly cooked, good size portions and really tasty. It was a great meal and at £38 including drinks ( non alcoholic admittedly), what's not to like! The staff were really friendly and service was quick and welcoming. If you're in Christchurch and want a good quality home cooked meal at a very reasonable price, then give it a try.

Came here to eat with my mum for her birthday, the staff were fantastic and the chef even came over to give us recommendations. My mum received a free drink for her birthday, and they decorated her dessert plate with 'happy birthday' written. The food was fantastic. I had the Cameron's risotto small portion (but the portion was so generous I couldn't eat it all) and my mum had the rustic sun pizza. She is a huge pizza fan and this was one of the best she's ever had. She ordered a large so she could take some home with her. There was a lovely atmosphere, and we had a constant Waiter. Not once did we have to wait for a drink and the wait for food wasn't long at all. A definitely must go and we will be returning soon! Thankyou Cameron's. We will see you soon :)
