A restaurant on the side of a premier Inn excellent service reasonable pricing, open hrs to fit with the premier Inn for breakfast and dinner 🍽. Helpful location vs the premier Inn is only footsteps 👣 away

Wasn't as nice as in the past when we've been in the area.. evening menu rather limited and what tasted like watered down cola and a dessert so over microwaved I couldnt get a spoon into it..although both issues were dealt with professionally which was appreciated... however the fish and chips we had earlier on in the week was absolutely delicious..perfect.. and recommend it.

Popped in for a meal great atmosphere food and service. We hadn’t booked and they were so welcoming. Thank you Harry 😊

Visited the Globe for breakfast today staff rude breakfast cold would not go again do not deserve our custom

We had a table booked -we stood for 15 mins in The doorway and ignored . We spoke to bar man who said to stay standing , they were short staffed and someone should be along . Disgusting service …….we left restaurant!!

Lovely food and always friendly, have been many times before.

9.99 for 3 bacon 3 sausage 3 bp 3 hash brown 3 eggs beans and mushrooms plus I have 2 glasses of orange juice and 2 coffees !! All very tasty and decent quality. Didn't have to wait long overall very impressive I will be back.

Maddi was our server and she was lovely and helpful. The main courses were really good but desserts could have been better. The music was good and not too loud. Overall a good evening with family.

Fish chips n peas. Batter disgusting and chips burnt and soggy. Whilst the food is cheap this was really bad.

I had booked a table for my mums birthday there was quite a few of us Roxy was our waitress and she couldn’t do enough for us even though you were short staffed Roxy made sure everything was right for us and nothing was too much trouble and managed to sort all out meals and payments at the end glad Roxy was our waitress she really is a diamond and an asset to the company also thank you for checking with me a few days before just to confirm we were still coming although some had dropped out last minute we still had a good time and the food was good too thank you so much

8 of us booked in for Mothers day and the day was just perfect. We had the set menu which was of great value. The roasts here are THE best in the area. It was very busy, which is a testament to how good the food is, but all staff were so friendly and attentive . We had Faith and Dan serving us, both so lovely and polite. Loved catching up with my family and the best bit was we didn’t feel rushed at all. We also noticed the rudeness of another diner, which was handled very well by the management. I never understand how people can talk to others so aggressively. Fantastic patience by all staff, I certainly wouldn’t have been so stand there and take such abuse so calmly . Overall had a fabulous Mother’s Day and will be returning at Easter!

Visited Mother’s Day evening as part of the attached Premier Inn’s meal deal. The restaurant was very busy. Food was very tasty and served nice and hot. Despite it being busy the restaurant team were working very hard and managed to take orders and deliver the food not only in a timely manner but with a smile. It looks like the team in this restaurant have really strong team spirit. Well done Marika and the team. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, served by Jane - quick, efficient and friendly.

We visited on Mother’s Day as part of the meal deal with the Premier Inn & as expected it was extremely busy. The staff as ever were all working exceptionally hard & keeping up with orders with a genuine smile on their face. They seem like a great team & all support each other when needed. Unfortunately we witnessed a very unreasonable diner complaining to one of the managers on duty about the service. The manager dealt with it very professionally & did her very best to resolve the issue but this customer (elderly female) was not prepared to listen & was not only gesticulating & pointing at the manager but stated she would be leaving a negative review on Trip Advisor. So if you do read a low scoring review on here please note it is not a fair review of the situation that actually happened. We have had dinner & breakfast 6 times at this restaurant in the last 2 weeks & every time the food was served piping hot & delicious & the staff both at dinner & breakfast delivered exceptional service every single meal. If only I could score higher than a 5!! As my mother has recently moved to the area we will be back again many times more doubt!! Thank you to all of you.

We popped in for dinner to celebrate a birthday. The restauraunt was super busy and Maddi our server was dealing with a difficult group of customers. However she went out of our way to make our evening as special as possible. Kind and attentive Maddi was utterly super. Thank you so much!

Whilst staying at the nearby Premier Inn we used the Globe Inn for breakfast and dinner. The staff were trying so hard but there just wasn't enough staff on duty. Just one member of staff working all on their own trying their hardest on all occasions. The food was not always at its best.

Havn't been here for years but wanted a warming dinner on a cold wet Sunday - mid afternoon and roast had mostly run out so hubby had a steak + I had beef ale pie - all lovely and hot and filling - good service staff friendly - drinks bump up the price

Very disappointing just one waitress on duty and we waited over 35 minutes to be served it had been left standing so was cold after reheating just about edible. We use this pub a lot not a good day for you. Waitress lovely not her fault.

The food was quite good although the steak could have been better. However Maddi’s service was exceptional. She was so hard working and very polite and attentive.

Appalling refusal of food service to a regular customer. They were happy to take our money on Wednesday but refused service early Friday evening because we were in the bar.

Staff are lovely and polite however the speed needs to be improved. It’s extremely slow. Took 45 minutes to take our order. We had a table booked for 6pm and at 9pm we only just ordered dessert.

Lovely meal. We were very well looked after by Maddi. A very enjoyable date night. Very nice atmosphere at the Globe, friendly staff.

My wife and I took advantage of the Globe's Value mains consisting of a 7oz gammon steak, chips, fried egg and pineapple plus garden peas plus a smothered chicken dish together with 1No Apple Betty dessert for a total cost of £16.47 which was great value. Can't fault The Globe for value for money, the service or the portion size and quality of the food on offer. This is classic pub grub within a very large restaurant area and ideal if you are looking to eat when you want to eat. Make sure you register your car on the terminal inside the restaurant which will give you up to 4 hours free parking in the car park adjacent to the pub.

They need to come to the table more often, instead of having to keep asking for everything

Food is always lovely. Staff friendly and helpful. Great they have a lunch time deal on , 2 mains for 11.99. Only complaint is need more gluten free options such as bread or a pudding I cant have dairy either so no ice cream either. Other than that it's a decent place to eat.

Slow service ready meals. Initally came in for a roast to be told the meats were stringy, sad for a Sunday afternoon offering. We also waited half an hour for beverages to arrive from bar to table, which was only a 30 second commute. I appreciate highcliffe is for the older demographic, but the pubs vibe was lacking and the decor tired. I’ve been to more lively rest homes. I’ll be considering other establishments when in the local vicinity.

12 of us visited The Globe in Highcliffe for a family meal. Our waitress Maddi was great. She was friendly and helped us with the offers that were available. Food was good value for money and we will certainly visit again.

Had Sunday roast today, the food was very nice and plenty of it, but yet again ' no beef'...we normally get here about 3 pm and they had just sold out of beef...the restaurant is open all day/evening, so why not have a good supply of beef, ..though someone did say it's to do with the supplier...also why have 2 sets of knives and forks on the table, rarely the 2 sets get used, I've sat and watched people/children sit and fiddle about with the extra set, as I have myself ( not very hygienic) and then there left on the table for the next person to use...if they are for the starter meal then just bring out when needed,..also the last few times I've been there hasn't been much atmosphere, there is very low background music playing , you can barley hear it, it does need to be turned up a bit , not loud but just to make it more pleasant, ( in my opinion anyway) anyhow as I said, the roast dinners Are very nice and plenty of it...

Absolutely delightful place to go for breakfast. Freshly cooked made to order breakfast. Start off with fresh juice, cereal, toast etc. Unlimited hot drinks. Pleasant atmosphere and staff members attentive and lovely.

We have visited the globe on numerous occasions, the last time was my birthday Xmas Eve. We had the choice of main menu or festive. We all agreed the food really was fantastic, and with a money off voucher made it such great value for money. Our waitress was very attentive. I requested a round table and this was fulfilled. All in all highly recommended 👌 some pubs/restaurants have off days I know but we visited in November and obviously again December and they didn't disappoint on either occasions. Thank you 😊

Had a festive dinner here on Boxing day. Gentle music in the background, beautiful venue, and friendly staff. I liked how we could order in advance. Considering how busy it was, felt there was an acceptable gap between courses, not too long of a wait. I would say all of our brussel sprouts were underdone and a family member had some boiled potatoes, which also were underdone. However, the baked potatoes, meat, parsnips and what followed, the profiteroles in particular, were excellent. Good portion of profiteroles too, strongly recommended as a dessert.

The quality of the food was poor. Tasteless vegetables, especially the 3 sprouts I had with the Festive Turkey dinner. The peas were like bullets. We had our second festive meal at the Globe, between us we tried 2 different starters, 2 different mains and 3 different sweets. All the food was excellent, the service very pleasant and the only thing that could make it better would be more staff. The staff that were on were working all the time, very hard.
