A lovely casual bar with good food

Love this restaurant and have been coming here for years. Our server Alice was lovely and very helpful.

Alice was brilliant, as was the food, as always.

Love it here but last evening the waiter plonked my coffe down quite unfriendly and was in a grubby holed sweatshirt. Then the food arrived which was as good as always but the girl was in a filthy white t-shirt top. I really detest uniforms but please be at least clean. It matters. Thankyou

The food was average The service Mustafeeh from Bangladesh was awesome he is good and kind guy He made us so comfortable while eating the food . Nice person to be in that place

This place is like the weatherspoons pub and Fridays restaurants but in old style of tables and chairs and the food tastes different to all food I've been matched with so I would like to come in again soon

Love this place. I am a fairly regular visitor. Food is always pretty good, staff are friendly and it's good value for money compared with other places seem to charge these days.

Amazing food with a great atmosphere. We had the brisket chilli and the bang bang chicken which were absolutely delicious. Glass of wine nice and chilled as was the beer. Service was a little slow but it was very busy but we weren’t in a hurry and the food was definitely worth the wait. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was a very relaxed vibe. My husband declared this was the best meal he has had in Christchurch!

Nice looking restaurant with nice menu. Staff were either half asleep or rude. No sense on the pricing. (either 2 glasses of wine or 1 coke zero with a £1 surcharge!!? - how cheap is this wine?!) Some food was ok, the tapas was nice. The Chicken curry and the children's meal was disgusting and inedible. The chips were burnt within an inch of their lives, the falafel burger was dry and horrible and the curry was awful. Tasted like pineapple flavoured dish soap. One of the waitresses was moping around and the manager had a look of distain when he came to clear the plates. Would avoid unless you like to break your teeth on chips and enjoy wine made of turpentine.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Perfect place to stop for food or just a drink. We were a group of 6 with 2 young children and the games available and the kids menu was a huge hit - the fact they could build their own dinner was a huge bonus and shows it was thought through!! All adults equally enjoyed all the food and the cocktail happy hour was great!! Would definitely return.

Nice food and very cute decor. Reasonable prices. But it took ages to be served, ages for the food to come and the music was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone have a conversation!

Waited 45 minutes for food and then the fried egg and toast were really hard as if they had been sat for a while. Disappointing after such a long wait.

What a kind gesture. My card payment failed twice, and ended up having to limit my spend to the cash I had on me. Thank you for your treat. It made it taste all the sweeter.

Went here for lunch with the family, a really nice place, a lovely venue, and big too. Got seated straight away. Menu is good, quite a long wait for food, considering it didn't seem that busy. The food was ok, except for the side of sweet potato chips, which was a joke, four pounds twenty for I kid you not 16 chips, that's about 26p per chip 😲, guys sort it out. Overall nice place, bit expensive and stingy portions.

We went to Arcado Lounge while visiting Christchurch last week and it was a great experience from start to finish. Lovely atmosphere, great decor, and child friendly. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and accommodating to us and our 2 small children. The food was tasty and great value. I'd recommend it over and over.

We visited for a meal and drinks, great fast friendly service, we really enjoyed our visit, will be back again when in the area

Food and service was great. Knocked off one star, as they were only accepting payment by cash or QR code...and the QR code option wasn't working! Had to get cash out from the local cashpoint before I could order.

Liz, Sammy and lucy were amazing in creating a great night for me and family to enjoy a wonderful night together, five stars for the staff there!!!

A shout out to Sammy for being so lovely, and sorting out our table with table raisers so my wheelchair could fit underneath. That's without even asking. Food was great, too!

Tom,Jack and Tash are a great team elevating this dining experience to a higher level.Food was great..I had tapas(really tasty) and my husband a burger,it looked really good.Prices very reasonable.Interesting environment,lots of space,best eateries in Christchurch..Tash is stunning.

Perfect place for a small gathering as there's a room at the rear of the venue that can be booked at the discretion of the manager.

Food was great, service was lacking. First 2 drinks ordered took ages, one order was wrong despite using the app and specifically selecting exclusions and we weren't advised the kitchen was closing so when we went to order dessert the response was that the kitchen was closed. It would have been best practice to advise the customers that the kitchen would be closing so any further orders should be made by a certain time.

Good place with very good service

Service slow, ordered a dessert and cocktails, they had run out of ice-cream!! Cocktails not good, pretty tasteless, and expensive.

Great selection of drinks and cocktails. Prompt service. Steak was cooked to perfection.

Very nice, reasonable price, no fuss, relaxed atmosphere.

Really delicious poached eggs with smoked salmon on a toasted bun. A perfect breakfast. Bravo!

Enjoyed a lovely vegan lunch here. Reasonable price and was amazed when they gave me a whole menu with just vegan items.

Food & service was good, enjoyed the tapas and would visit again.

It remains strange to order at the bar and not have the service come to your table like in the Netherlands

Excellent way to spend an afternoon. Food was good and service was great and we weren't rushed to give up the table.

A lovely relaxing place for brunch, lunch or dinner. In fact just for coffee & cake if you wish. We enjoyed brunch here, & tapas Tuesdays. Also we joined in with the Monday quiz night. Good, lighthearted evening. The staff were welcoming to us, & brought water & treats for our dog.

Great food, great place, rude rude staff no customer service skills at all. Everytime we tried to order it was if we were inconveniencing the staff. It was early (6pm). It was a Thursday and fairly quiet. Shame because the food was great, as were the drinks. Nice chilled place to be too so a shame the staff make it unpleasant (and other customers we didn’t know were saying the sane thing whilst standing waiting!). Compliments for the delicious food hence three rating. By the way the staff in the Ringwood one are so great. Much friendlier.

What a gem of an eatery this is. A wonderful atmosphere. It's both big and cosy. Pictures adorn the dark wood walls making it feel like an exclusive club. The food we had was interesting: tasty, colourful but needed a bit more bread. The service was on point and the coffee very nice. Definitely recommend.

I was really impressed with this cafe bar restaurant, it had a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Very dog friendly. The staff are real friendly and a great help when ordering food with allergies to consider. They have specific gluten free and vegan menu’s with so much choice. The food was also really good, I have a few intolerances and they were fully catered for in many dishes. The quality and taste was great.

Food was as better than expected, drinks priced as expected and although a rather busy atmosphere service and kitchen speed was good

Friday evening visit, and with a large group. Obviously a popular place as it was very busy with diners and drinkers. Didn't eat but food looked very good. Price wise, found expensive with 2 beers at over £12 (not premium beers). No real wait for bar service, but they gave the impression of being rushed. Good buzzing atmosphere but I wouldn't go back because of prices. It's Christchurch, not Bournemouth or London.

Dog and kid friendly. Most extensive Gluten Free menu we have seen! Good relaxed feel and loads of space round tables. Order at the bar. Board games available and WiFi.

food took an hour to come after being told a 30 minute wait no apologies when food finally arrived half of food not hot do not come here

Visited here today with some friends after getting reccomendations from family. Had some great food and the service was great as well, think his name was cole, great service and some good reccomendationa for food. Will definitely be back again in the future

We were let down by another venue for a birthday party and Arcado lounge accommodated 17 of us at very short notice. The food was lovely and service was fantastic. Thank you for rescuing our birthday party and making our evening. We will highly recommend to others.

The service was incredibly slow. The food was dreadful- how can you not be able to cook poached eggs on toast and a sausage sandwich??? It was also cold. Good coffee though

Lovley little place for a catch up and chat with a friend

Went for a coffee but decided to try some tapas and ordered some sides as well. It was absolutely delicious . The drinks were good too and I thought good value. Would recommend

Family outing stopped at Arcado lounge for lunch yesterday. The decor is nice, there isn’t anything wrong with the food yet I feel this restaurant & bar is worth average at best due to its very small portions. It’s not cheap.

Plus mark for being open before 10 on a Sunday. Had the Lounge Breakfast with coffee. Good polite, quick service. Breakfast was excellent, all ingredients tasted fresh and not cheap. Will come back in future.

This place has a great look inside. It is part of a chain as I recognise the menu from elsewhere. It is a lovely environment to be in. This one has lots of families on a sauturday, so has a real family feel. For some reason I wasn't allowed to photograph our drinks on the tray, but the coffee here is good

Came in for a beer and currently watching one of the kitchen members stuffing his face with chips then picking up chips with his hands to serve to the customers without washing his hands. And continues to serve food with his hands.... not very hygienic

This restaurant has an admirable variety on its menu, including a pretty good breakfast! The wait times for the food are long, but more or less worth it when you finally get it.

Popped in on NYD, even though it was busy, the staff were quick to clean tables, greet, and serve. Can't fault.

OK for a drink but the atmosphere was lacking somewhat (on a Thursday night), since there was just our party and one other group in the whole place. We didn't eat. The big sofa/couch ought to be replaced since it's all but collapsed!

Advertised their Bingo night online saying DM them. No response, nobody picks up phone, how on earth can you connect with this business. I even put a comment on the advert - still silence!

We had a lovely visit to the Arcado lounge. The foot was amazing - putting the pepper in to the mayo for the Philly cheese ciabatta is a stroke of genius! it made for a really tasty meal. The Lounge eggs were went down really well too, has did the tapas and breakfast. Really friendly staff who made us feel very welcome & were very attentive and helpful. The building its self is decorated in a very interesting style with lots to look at. Add the fact that is welcomes everyone & caterers for everyone the Arcado lounge is very well worth a visit!

Great place for everybody, good for families earlier in the day and a mixed crowd later on.

Good service, normal cafe selection of drinks and snacks, plenty of space but a bit noisy at busy times.

Checked to see if dogs were welcome, spoke to Ethan (who admittedly we know and hadn't seen for years), dogs very welcome :) Ordered brunch plus extra sausages (for the dog) - butty and smashed avocado brunch with a coffee and strawberry milkshake - all hot, fresh and tasty. We like all the Lounges as they are so welcoming, spacious and staff always pleasant. They also do takeaway and gluten/vegan menus.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FOOD I had the most delicious burger and the chips/ fries …. Well, what can I say, the I’ve had in a very long time. Crispy . As for the home made coleslaw.. WOW .. gorgeous.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Our breakfast order wasnt ready after an hours wait, so had to chase it. It got mixed up. The staff apolgised and that was fine. But beans were cold, bread unbuttered. And £35 for 2 breakfasts is extortionate. Won't be going again.

Average, Average and Average. They didn't do anything bad but its noisy, extremely cold. The staff are happy to leave the back door wide open every time they go out creating an icy breeze while you are eating. Food is Average to poor. Chips are just warm and you find yourself checking if their burgers are properly cooked through. Not good really. But it's cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. This is probably the worst of the Lounges though. There are others in the Bournemouth area worth checking out ahead of this one. Sorry guys, you have just got to do better.

Great Large Restaurant. Plenty of space around tables. Menu really good. Service was brilliant. Breakfasts served were well cooked, nicely presented and hot. Would recommend to all. Also do lunches/dinners etc.

Took the family there had to wait quite a while to order the food but very friendly service

Waiter touching his shoes, then serving our food, chef moving food on plates with bare hands, then another staff member did the same, moving chips from one container to another, on same order. Not impressed by hygiene standards.

We only wanted a snack as eating in hotel later We had macaroni and cheese gorgeous small portion think it was under £5 Muffin with sausage really nice tasty. About £7 Lovely people. Order at bar, as I won’t go anywhere you have to do app. Cup of tea was good only flaw was the tea pot was an awful pourer, that needs addressing. The elderflower and soda really nice.

This has been our go-to place for Sunday breakfast for years. Such a shame to see it's standards go down so much that we will be looking for a new place. On ordering I was advised that there was at least 30 min wait so we knew they were busy. When the food arrived it was not even luke warm, the Muffin had been replaced with a slice of bread (they could have told as at point of ordering) and the egg was slimy. We sent one dish back as it was cold. The pancakes were overcooked. We paid £15 a head for this experience, so really not good value for money. Standards have been slipping for a while but sadly this experience will push us to find somewhere new next time

They had all the bi fold doors open and windows and it was not a warm day, felt like I couldn't fully enjoy my meal as I was cold. My friend ls got their food and drinks fairly quickly but was a bit of a delay in ours even though we ordered beforehand and had less hot food.

Nice enough place but very long wait to be seated and then served. Really needs more than one person on the counter given the number of covers.
