Had a great time here whilst on business in the area great food staff were awesome very professional and friendly food was faultless I would highly recommend this place to anyone 🍻

Staff are so kind and friendly- special shout out to Tasha (double checked everything with the chef in terms of allergies), Dan, Wanda and alice No waiting when you come in like other places ,very attentive staff Gf and df breakfast was yum and great portion size Allergies are taken seriously here, over places need to learn from you! Food did not take long even when busy Nothing was too much trouble and despite being busy they made an effort to chat and be attentive.

Great food and helpful staff, unfortunately we spent the whole meal surrounded by fruit flies. The restaurant desperately needs fumigating!!.

Arcardo serves a great vegan brunch, and it's very affordable I visit every time I'm in the area.

At the weekend we went for breakfast. and we were met and served with a smile by Molly. Always made to feel welcome and receive friendly service when we go in for morning coffee and occasional breakfast. Tash always get my hot drink with frothy milk perfect! Thank you, Maria.

Fast and efficient service, a little noisy but not unbearable

Had a surprisingly lovely vegetarian burger with cheese which was delicious! Staff were all very friendly especially a young lady called Mollie. Will certainly be back!

Dropped in for a lunch with my husband lovely service, friendly staff food tasty. Atmosphere was a bit noisy kids running around, getting in the way of the serving staff. Parents not supervising the children, dangerous when hot food & drinks being served.

Went for food today and ordered an Lounge breakfast informing the server when paying that I had a dairy and gluten allergy.. Myself and my partner had different meals. Prior to our meals coming out a server came over to ask about my allergies. I confirmed the gluten and dairy allergy, the server then asked me if I was allergic to all of dairy. To which I had to explain what dairy was. A little while later our food began to come out and my partners meal came out gluten free but with items missing - my partner didn’t want gluten free food. We explained the order to the server who would not let me finish explaining what I was allergic to. They ran off and bought out the avocado and egg on normal bread - which they had scrapped off the previous one, however still no added extras we had paid for. I asked the server who said they would bring it out with mine, but couldn’t say how long that wait would be. My partners food was stone cold. I went to the server to approach them about our issues with my partners food and was unwilling to help us or even listen to me trying to explain my allergies. In the end I asked for a refund and we left! 40 minutes of my day wasted! Never again. Really awful that your staff have no idea what dairy food group is and up-skilled on allergies!

The coffee here is one of the nicest roasted blends. The food is well presented and has a great taste. I have been here a few times, and I can recommend that the smoked salmon and poached egg with Hollandaise is a winner for breakfast.

Busy 2pm on Saturday, but we were explained a half hour wait for food. Some sofas etc. Some use it just for a drink. Food good.

Lovely place in christchurch. All their lounges are mostly quite good. Good food. Good service and good atmosphere. Spacious so good to bring children in prams and kids. They offer colouring stuff for older kids.

Me and my friend both shared a beef quesadilla and both got extremely sick from it afterwards, and all the next day… but my other friend also ordered them, and she was fine???

Just exceptional for our eclectic bunch of vegans, carnivores and coeliacs! No hassle, no drama, amazing range on the menu. You are a class apart!

We ate here and we had a lovely meal. It was very relaxed and lovely staff. We will definitely go again on our next visit.

Visited for a bite to eat in the lead up to Christmas, met by a lovely host at the door who made us feel welcome, wish the gentleman behind the bar had the same attitude, he was most surly and was put out that we chose to order at the bar instead of using the app. The menu has some good options, we had a tuna panini and an aubergine flatbread. My only gripe is that the flatbread could have been a bit warmer and it didn’t need the mayonnaise dressing. Great value for money, very tasty and quick service, I would return.

We enjoyed the lounge but the food was all fast food and not good and perhaps it was us but in your 80's it wasn't for us.

This is one of our favourite places to eat in Christchurch, I probably visit at least once a week. Always excellent service from the staff, but apart from that they are always so friendly and welcoming. Food is always lovely & delicious and the atmosphere in the Arcado Lounge is always so vibrant.

Middle of winter and sat a birthday party by the back door that was WIDE OPEN, wouldn't shut it and wouldn't move us. Not a clue on customer service. Worst place I've eaten in Christchurch !

Dropped in this afternoon for a drink and something to eat. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The food and drink are great value for money. Will definitely go back

Worst place I have been to in years - lady behind the bar rude, unfriendly and unhelpful, arguing with us that the drink on the menu didnt exist. We were sat towards the back and the emergency door was letting in a strong draft and staff didnt even try to move us or make us more comfortable so we were freezing. Our dishes wernt collected for 45 minutes and even then they didnt take them all.

We went on the quiz night, great laugh, great food, freindly staff, we had a dog with us aswell,look forward to the next one!

Food, drinks, atmosphere. All brilliant. That’s for the past few years. Today, flies (coffee/doom flies) signs of poor hygiene, in a really awful flat salad that was a few days old by the look of it. Place was filthy. Out with elderly father who’s coleslaw (homemade) resembled days old oil spill. The lad serving was just crap at his job. My food got sprayed on as she was cleaning the table?!! Drink was warm (ginger beer). About as friendly for disabled people as a fart and in a small car space. No management…..

Food was tasty, and the atmosphere was very nice. Server was a bit cold. On my way to the toilet I looked through the pass into the kitchen and it looked quite dirty. I understand it's the end of a lunch service. But with how quiet the lounge was at the time there is no excuse for the mess and dirt. The pass had crumbs on it, the blancher was oily and was covered in dirty pans. There were tongs on a chopping board. The toilets were also dirty, the sink was covered in makeup and the supply closet of chemicals was open so I took the liberty of raking a cloth and wiping it myself. When a resturaunt is quiet, staff should be using the spare time to keep it clean.

A very nice brunch today. Staff really good and I requested they cook my egg no runny and they cooked it perfectly thank you! Was a little cold inside the restaurant, that’s my only criticism. Very good value for money!

First time in there today. Had the big breakfast. Great portion size. Quality was top notch. Really good service. Was very happy.

I felt compelled to write a review after my experience around an hour ago. I attended with 2 young children. On arrival we waited for 5 minutes even though the place was near empty. I was eventually shown to a table and a highchair just dumped to the side of us. I was responsible for the removal of a chair and finding somewhere for it to be placed. I went to order and pay and waited a further 10 minutes while the nerdy guy with glasses was making personal calls and complaining to his friends that he was soooo busy. I counted 6 tables whilst I was in there! My daughter has a dairy allergy and requested a sausage sandwich with NO butter due to an allergy. We waited a further 15 minutes for the arrival for my flat white. I continued to watch other customers be treated the same and listen to his constant moaning! At last the food arrived… and guess what it had butter in it. I was met with a huff and puff from the same gentleman. Surely this man is not the manager. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Think twice before eating at Arcado Lounge!

A lovely casual bar with good food

Nice Mediterranean type food, good prices. Kids menu that was good for vegetarian kids. Nice atmosphere too. I would recommend.

Love this restaurant and have been coming here for years. Our server Alice was lovely and very helpful.

Alice was brilliant, as was the food, as always.

Came for breakfast on Sunday. The kitchen was out of guac but were really accommodating and made some adaptations to the recipe. Both our meals were really generous and tasty. The staff were so helpful and friendly and overall had a great experience

Love it here but last evening the waiter plonked my coffe down quite unfriendly and was in a grubby holed sweatshirt. Then the food arrived which was as good as always but the girl was in a filthy white t-shirt top. I really detest uniforms but please be at least clean. It matters. Thankyou

This place is like the weatherspoons pub and Fridays restaurants but in old style of tables and chairs and the food tastes different to all food I've been matched with so I would like to come in again soon

Love this place. I am a fairly regular visitor. Food is always pretty good, staff are friendly and it's good value for money compared with other places seem to charge these days.

Amazing food with a great atmosphere. We had the brisket chilli and the bang bang chicken which were absolutely delicious. Glass of wine nice and chilled as was the beer. Service was a little slow but it was very busy but we weren’t in a hurry and the food was definitely worth the wait. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was a very relaxed vibe. My husband declared this was the best meal he has had in Christchurch!

Nice looking restaurant with nice menu. Staff were either half asleep or rude. No sense on the pricing. (either 2 glasses of wine or 1 coke zero with a £1 surcharge!!? - how cheap is this wine?!) Some food was ok, the tapas was nice. The Chicken curry and the children's meal was disgusting and inedible. The chips were burnt within an inch of their lives, the falafel burger was dry and horrible and the curry was awful. Tasted like pineapple flavoured dish soap. One of the waitresses was moping around and the manager had a look of distain when he came to clear the plates. Would avoid unless you like to break your teeth on chips and enjoy wine made of turpentine.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Perfect place to stop for food or just a drink. We were a group of 6 with 2 young children and the games available and the kids menu was a huge hit - the fact they could build their own dinner was a huge bonus and shows it was thought through!! All adults equally enjoyed all the food and the cocktail happy hour was great!! Would definitely return.

Nice food and very cute decor. Reasonable prices. But it took ages to be served, ages for the food to come and the music was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone have a conversation!

Waited 45 minutes for food and then the fried egg and toast were really hard as if they had been sat for a while. Disappointing after such a long wait.

What a kind gesture. My card payment failed twice, and ended up having to limit my spend to the cash I had on me. Thank you for your treat. It made it taste all the sweeter.

Went here for lunch with the family, a really nice place, a lovely venue, and big too. Got seated straight away. Menu is good, quite a long wait for food, considering it didn't seem that busy. The food was ok, except for the side of sweet potato chips, which was a joke, four pounds twenty for I kid you not 16 chips, that's about 26p per chip 😲, guys sort it out. Overall nice place, bit expensive and stingy portions.

We went to Arcado Lounge while visiting Christchurch last week and it was a great experience from start to finish. Lovely atmosphere, great decor, and child friendly. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and accommodating to us and our 2 small children. The food was tasty and great value. I'd recommend it over and over.

Food and service was great. Knocked off one star, as they were only accepting payment by cash or QR code...and the QR code option wasn't working! Had to get cash out from the local cashpoint before I could order.

A shout out to Sammy for being so lovely, and sorting out our table with table raisers so my wheelchair could fit underneath. That's without even asking. Food was great, too!

Perfect place for a small gathering as there's a room at the rear of the venue that can be booked at the discretion of the manager.

Food was great, service was lacking. First 2 drinks ordered took ages, one order was wrong despite using the app and specifically selecting exclusions and we weren't advised the kitchen was closing so when we went to order dessert the response was that the kitchen was closed. It would have been best practice to advise the customers that the kitchen would be closing so any further orders should be made by a certain time.

Service slow, ordered a dessert and cocktails, they had run out of ice-cream!! Cocktails not good, pretty tasteless, and expensive.

It remains strange to order at the bar and not have the service come to your table like in the Netherlands

A lovely relaxing place for brunch, lunch or dinner. In fact just for coffee & cake if you wish. We enjoyed brunch here, & tapas Tuesdays. Also we joined in with the Monday quiz night. Good, lighthearted evening. The staff were welcoming to us, & brought water & treats for our dog.

Great food, great place, rude rude staff no customer service skills at all. Everytime we tried to order it was if we were inconveniencing the staff. It was early (6pm). It was a Thursday and fairly quiet. Shame because the food was great, as were the drinks. Nice chilled place to be too so a shame the staff make it unpleasant (and other customers we didn’t know were saying the sane thing whilst standing waiting!). Compliments for the delicious food hence three rating. By the way the staff in the Ringwood one are so great. Much friendlier.

What a gem of an eatery this is. A wonderful atmosphere. It's both big and cosy. Pictures adorn the dark wood walls making it feel like an exclusive club. The food we had was interesting: tasty, colourful but needed a bit more bread. The service was on point and the coffee very nice. Definitely recommend.

I was really impressed with this cafe bar restaurant, it had a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Very dog friendly. The staff are real friendly and a great help when ordering food with allergies to consider. They have specific gluten free and vegan menu’s with so much choice. The food was also really good, I have a few intolerances and they were fully catered for in many dishes. The quality and taste was great.

Friday evening visit, and with a large group. Obviously a popular place as it was very busy with diners and drinkers. Didn't eat but food looked very good. Price wise, found expensive with 2 beers at over £12 (not premium beers). No real wait for bar service, but they gave the impression of being rushed. Good buzzing atmosphere but I wouldn't go back because of prices. It's Christchurch, not Bournemouth or London.

Dog and kid friendly. Most extensive Gluten Free menu we have seen! Good relaxed feel and loads of space round tables. Order at the bar. Board games available and WiFi.

Visited here today with some friends after getting reccomendations from family. Had some great food and the service was great as well, think his name was cole, great service and some good reccomendationa for food. Will definitely be back again in the future

We were let down by another venue for a birthday party and Arcado lounge accommodated 17 of us at very short notice. The food was lovely and service was fantastic. Thank you for rescuing our birthday party and making our evening. We will highly recommend to others.
