No oat milk! It's a coffee shop. Could and should do better considering the cost.

A normal Costa coffee, always good if not a bit expensive. If this place was a animal it would be a Cat call Alfred with gold chains and rings. Expensive, aloof at times, warm and caring at others. Looks nice but ends up costing you a fortune.

Brilliant place and brilliant experience. Staffed well, organised really well, I'm very relaxed when I finish here. The staff are really nice and friendly, the hot drinks are tasty too and the food is delicious. I like this place definitely would have lunch or brunch here. Sausage roll and Cajun chicken wrap is very nice and tasty. I have to mention specially thank you to Nikki, Ieva, Tanisha, Stefan are welcoming and very hospitable, good choice of staff and management.

This is my favourite coffee shop in Christchurch. The staff here are well organised and synergised in my opinion. I invite colleagues, friends and we always have an ambient time. I come In stressed out an leave with joy and happiness, the staff are very hospitable professional and on point with customers as I have witnessed and experienced personally. I rate the managers Ieva she is a warrior and Stefan also. The rest of the staff are so blessed, I will mention specially Tanisha, Liddy, Nikki, Kevin an anyone else I have missed, it's not easy to forget people's names when they are amazing 🤩. Thank you Costa for this place.

Nice cappuccino, but only just warm.

Good friendly staff, usual good choice of drinks, cakes and sandwiches available. Only criticism is that the tables are not cleared of trays and cups etc regularly. . Customers have to clear them to sit down so just pile it up on another table.

Staff are miserable and very slow. Took forever and a day and yet there were only a few customers. Why they are super slow in here god only knows!! I think Costa will start fazing out because so many customers complain about the service and lack of staff, customer care and quality of service. A lot of people now support local coffee shops more frequently as apposed to just Costa. Costa should be reminded of that and start some much needed staff training!!

Very slow service. 🙄 tables not cleared around the seating area. We had to ask to have the table wiped. Chai latte not nice. Nice carrot cake!

Generic Costa everything so over priced Service was so slow over 6 minutes just to be served The whole atmosphere was cold and clinical

It's a Costa with easy access on a retail site, somehow it lacks the normal Costa experience.

2 perfect Wet hit chocolates made by the amazing Baristas Lydia and Nikki . Great atmosphere in there today will probably visit again in the next few days

Service is shocking. Over charged and lost money. Awful customer service. Recommended driving down the road to a nicer costa.

The coffee here is very hit or miss. Yesterday 3 iced lattes were very weak and milky. It was too busy to ask them to re do it.

The gentleman serving behind the till, would seem to have a large attitude problem. I asked for 2 large latte and asked if they did they did flavours? He gave one word answers, no. When he had finished making them, he just put them down and asked card or cash. He was very abrupt no please, sorry or thank you. He needs to go back for more training in customer facing.

Had a nice cold Blueberry Frappe which was delicious and included fresh blueberries.

Friendly staff.Lovely hot hot chocolate. Sat outside in sunshine 🌞 on our own so can't comment on atmosphere.

A pretty boring experience......Will go to small independent coffee shops in the future

Despite being very busy , we were served quickly . Plenty of options available for the grandchildren to choose from . Clean and tidy , and again although the coffee shop was busy all empty tables were clean . Staff were friendly and efficient, I was offered extra help with carrying the tray ( as I rely on crutches) our server went out of her way to help us. Didn't catch her name. Enjoyed our experience here today and will definitely be back ! Highly recommend this branch .

I visited on Monday and got great friendly service from the two women serving ( one with long brown hair on till and a young girl with tattoos ). Free parking on site and had a lovely sandwich. Very quick and efficient service.

Great meeting point, very popular, always busy, staff friendly and free parking. Toilets are convenient and kept reasonably clean.

All the staff were nice to the regulars, when I came in, the server was incredibly cold and didn't seem to want to listen to me when taking my order, missing that I asked my drink to take out. He was grumpy towards me however all smiles to a regular who came in after me. The drink I ordered was terrible to add to the experience. Very unpleasant

The staff here were very polite and pleasant, they explained that due to staff shortage that they had to use take away cups inside but that did not matter. It was still clean and tidy and the tables were clean. The toilets were also very clean and tidy, a code on the till reciept allows access to the toilet. Ideal please to get a drink near the other shops

I had a catch-up with my friend in here. The food/drinks etc, are always tasty and hot. The service from the staff is always very good! 😊

Wouldn’t let me use the toilet as i wasn’t a customer even though they watched me run to the toilet. Shouldn’t have to explain my medical conditions. Sent me across to the dirty lidl toilets and watched me run across the car park

I had a mint tea and I really didn't like it. It wasn't pleasant at all.

Nice but I think it's a little expensive considering you can buy a jar of coffee for less than a small cup and I had to queue for 10 minutes.

I ordered two mint frappe and it tasted like milk hardly any mint syrup in , very watery as well wouldn’t buy again from here

Handy Costa by the shops near Christchurch out of town shopping area. Have an outside seating area and lovely sandwiches.

Coffee ok the cinnamon cake was stale so I had to get a refund

Very disappointed by the service. Staff were rude and arguing amongst each other which was unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch.

I visited this Costa early Tuesday morning and I found the barista's very rude and the toilets were disgusting. Whilst I was there I even saw some ANTS climbing across this till area which is absolutely disgusting!

Usual good standard expected from Costa but looked a bit understaffed!

Lots to choose from, cakes were nice and fresh, and the lemon muffin was very soft and tasty.

The young man with longer hair was rude, and terrible at dealing with customers. Him and the girl with red hair were talking very loudly about how they wanted to go home and whether or not they “could be arsed” to clean the coffee machine. My partner and I enjoyed our coffee, but felt uncomfortable due to the staff.

Staff very hyped and positive, however service is poor, staffing issues again been like it every visit, so not impressed. Also new Beans App is rubbish rewards seem to expire within a month , so do not expect loyalty as you used to get its gone... Not a wise move Coca-Cola...🧐

Out of all local costas I have found this one to be the best. They make my drink how I like it and if its wrong they'll redo it without fuss. Always trying to keep tables etc clean and will clean table, sweep floor on request.

Poor service. forgot to charge me for toast then I went to go pay for it it and got told to come back later because they were too busy. saw staff relabelling the aerosol cream !when I later at there request went back up and qued to pay for the item they forgot to charge me for I was met with confusion and blank faces. Coffees average at best.

Love the coffee but most Thursdays when I go there. They close early and you can only sit in part of the cafe because staff are cleaning floor . Or they have closed between 4: 30 - 5:30. Closing time on door 7pm

Great welcome and free parking for three hours. Very clean and tidy.

Made to feel welcome, nice atmosphere. Parking is free which is very helpful as my wife has to use a wheelchair. But I find there is no easy way to enter the building when having to use the wheelchair as there is no automatic opening .regards Mr & Mrs forte Happy new year.

A very busy outlet and confusion over drink ordered. If you can put up with long queues and limited places to sit it's a reasonable stop.

Asked for a drink made with soya milk due to food intolerance to both dairy and oats. Barista first made my drink with cows milk, when this was pointed out and that I had asked for soya the barista then made one made with oat milk. Utterly disgusted and disappointed. Never visiting again.

Very disappointed with the service that I received here this afternoon. When my drink was made with the wrong milk staff members were rude and did not accept responsibility. When the drink was made again, they used the wrong milk again which I could have had a severe reaction to if I had realised so soon. Would not recommend to any allergy or intolerance sufferers.

The service of the staff is brilliant. Very helpful but wheel chair access is very tight. Can only just get around there.

Loads of parking and quick friendly service

Not visited a Costa for a while & this was my 1st visit to this particular one. Sadly the situation is the same whichever one you visit as in not enough staff & messy,untidy & dirty tables !!!! Costa do a good coffee & good snacks. It’s just a shame they are all such a mess. I had high hopes that due to Covid things would have changed, sadly not.

As a tea drinker Costa is not ideal, especially as they serve your tea in a large wide cup which cools far too quickly. The tea and snacks are the same as those served in a million places around the world, and when they are busy service declines a bit

We are unashamedly fans if Costa. The comforting familiarity of great coffee is always welcome wherever we go...except Christchurch. We popped in for coffee and cake with warm anticipation, but were met with chaotic stressed staff, our order took 3 attempts to get it made properly and it wasn't pleasant when it arrived. The Barista was clearly struggling as she had several do-overs for other customers, and was not happy with us for wanting our order corrected. Costa; get some more staff on and remind them to pay attention to the customer.

The last couple of times I have visited the tables/seating areas have been unclean and the staff seem unfriendly when serving, a real shame as I have always enjoyed visiting this Costa. Hopefully things improve.

It's a coffee place what can I say

As a regular visitor to this Costa Coffee, my experience is somewhat dampened by having to use a code to access the toilet. Whilst I appreciate some people use it who do not purchase anything, I feel the staff should be more helpful to paying customers who regularly have difficulty accessing it.

I had a great experience at this costa store today. I was treated to a fantastic bargain offer, was served delicious coffee by lovely smiley, friendly baristas. Lovely clean store, great parking and fab staff. Many thanks!

Safe to get takeaway drinks but went in on the Monday expected the 50p offer to find out did not start to next day Tuesday.Dont think the TV advert made it clear...boo hoo.Staff did not apologize but were polite .

It's a Costa coffee - does what you expect. Reasonable parking and easy access off the main road.

I love a Costa flat white. Staff not particularly attentive and one a tad abrupt but the coffee makes it 5 stars.

We went to the supermarket there so I can't really comment on the costa

Worst Costa around, so rude. They also can not make drinks well at all. They didn't know how to serve me a wet mocha, making out I was being difficult. Never will return here.

10/10 for these guys keeping open for take away and doing all they can to protect us during lockdown. Had to travel for work a few times, so was greatful to find somewhere open to grab a coffee.

Black Forest Hot Chocolate well deserved pick me up after food shopping on a dismal December day.

Shop has lots of space to queue away from the door & speedy service. Would have liked a cake/coffee combo deal but none available.

Social distancing in place. Staff wear masks & gloves, customers must wear masks. Usual Costa coffee, quality and taste good every time. I added a chocolate puff star to eat. 😋 I downloaded the NHS Track & Trace App & tried to scan the code available throughout the cafe but they didn't work! I asked a staff member, was told the one on the outside door worked - it didn't! Disappointed in this Costa, as we are in a medium risk area where Covid Cases have been found. The cafe was busy and most tables full, so safety is paramount for staff & customers!

Been here twice now, all staff are friendly enough but one staff member is really short and unhelpful, I tried to ask if they had soya cream or is it just normal milk cream when she asked if I would like cream on my soya hot chocolate but every time I tried to ask she didn’t listen to me and kept just saying some people like cream even if it’s a soya drink, so then I would say no I mean is the cream soya and she would reply again with the same thing in a rude tone, not to mention she was constantly touching her face mask in the inside and pulling it under her chin then up again then handling drinks ect
