Kind of devastated for Premier Inn's decision to stop dinner and lunch at this beefeater. The staff were always great and the food amongst the best for Beefeaters. It was also really the only proper eat-in restaurant within easy walking distance from us. It's still open to the public for drinks. Breakfast also still available. Hope previous serving staff are OK.

I have placed an order today for the 20 hot wings and they came out cold and I have asked the manager to either refund me the money or to compensate by offering another 10 hot wings but the manager refused and literally hung up the call while I was still talking to him on the phone and he never even apologised about the cold food , one of the worse places to even order food and would never ever go again. Money doesn’t come free to the customers and after we spend our money but still starving because they choose not to give a good customer service. And don’t act surprised when you get such a harsh review, this is what you get for not listening to customer feedbacks.

If I could score zero I would. To the patronisingly unmotivated member of staff who I believe might identify as a manager which makes this feedback even more amusing. I suggest potentially reevaluating your attitude before walking into your place of work. Or alternatively potentially a career choice if serving drinks makes you that unhappy at 07:00. Especially when in a customer service role after taking the money for a drink you turn out you can then not provide? Also, don’t act surprised and hard done by when you receive a response as sharp as the one that you gave. Training all round required.

Visited around 3pm on 10/08/24 for a coffee and something to eat. Place was fairly quiet, got to the till where another customer was being served so we had time to choose some food. Was met by a female staff member who couldn't look more miserable if she tried, as if we should have been ready to give our order when she was and like we were a hindrance to her. No hello, no smile just looked like she couldn't be bothered. Ordered two frappes, no question as to whether this was for eat in or takeaway or with coffee. No receipt given just took payment and walked away. I've worked in customer service myself for many years and would recommend this young lady have some retraining and at the very least, some reminders on how to be polite. Couldn't get her name as she was the only staff member not wearing a name badge but she did have her hair in a long plait.

very busy, had to wait a while to get a table. staff need some sorting out.meals and drinks ok. but not one of the better cafes.we would not go again.

Rubbish, 3 meals ordered, 2 were wrong !! How hard can it be to put 3 meals in a bag, rang store they wouldn’t do nothing about it.

It's nice here, very reasonable and the young lad was very attentive and double checked my order when he thought it had been written down differently. PLUS they sell 'proper' Scandinavian style Cinnamon buns (knots) which is always a winner.
