Pausa Cafe in Cheltenham

Such a shame this cafe is so awful as it could be great. Unfortunately this is solely down to the staff who work in it. Blonde haired ponytail lady behind the till is always so stressed out and rude even with only a few people in the cafe! I've had a few experiences here all the same. Young girl who was cleaning up empty cups with a trolly just stared me and another lady in the queue down until we had to move out of her way. Came here a couple weeks ago for a jacket potato and was told there wasn't any.. when we asked why there was loads in the heater thing behind her she replied they're allocated. To who? Sat down for 40 mins after with a coffee and only two people had a jacket in that time. Previous time I was given a sandwich that was tuna even though I asked for the vegetarian focaccia. Staff need retraining on customer service. For a small cafe it's not even that busy, they need to chill out and smile! Puts me off ever coming again.

My first visit to this dreadful - really dreadful cafe. Staff make you feel like they are doing you a favour in serving you. Far too big a choice of cakes making half of them look stale. Teapots disgustingly filthy and cups not much better. Green tea so cheap it’s was just tasteless. all in all a really terrible experience - we asked the server if she could cut a piece of cake in half and she practically threw a knife at us and told us to cut it ourselves. I’m speechless

Bought a milkshake and an ice coffee and was terrible. Over priced for what my nephews could make at home.

No food available (“run out”) at 1.30pm?! Horrendously rude staff and shockingly poor coffee. Save your money and go somewhere else where your custom will be appreciated.

Food wasn't very nice it was cold staff were rood service was slow I waited 1 hour to be served don't recommend 🤔

Far prefer Gloucester's Pausa in Dunelm, I'm afraid in Cheltenham I got food I didn't order, was made to feel rushed by the lady entering orders on the till, she seemed to be stressed and un-relaxed and instead of a salad garnish with a nice dressing you just get a handful of green leaves ..?

Calling my experience there terrible would be an understatement. There was a total of 5 staff and very few customers yet they were still failing to provide decent service, the food came cold and wasn’t the best. Staff were openly complaining and talking about things I don’t believe are appropriate for a working environment. The only staff member there that was acceptable was a woman who I believe was called fínella or something and she was lovely yet unfortunately due to the others working with her even she was unable to perform well. I am especially disappointed with the organisation and how they were all yelling about different things and it took ages to even get a cold drink and they really did not know what they were doing. This one woman who I believe was in charge due to the way she was bossing people around was not the most pleasant person to be around as I could actively see her stopping to stare down customers and what appeared to be Judge them. Overall I would not recommend this place even to my wildest enemie and hope that after reading this they can in prove their service. 100% not worth it

Five staff and about 20 customers what an absolute car crash. How can you mess up 2 drinks and a sandwich?? Quite easily it would appear. Avoid at all costs life is too short

Rude staff and kept me waiting then served people around me. Be careful if you eat anything! As I gave my elderly mother a caramel shortbread and she just got extremely upset tummy. She's had them before and has been fine. Proceed with caution!

Poor service and poor coffee making skills. My Cappuccino was scolding hot and more like a weak latte .

Nice food poor customer service. Waited half an hour for a wrap to be warmed up. Got a refund instead.
