Starbucks in Cheltenham

Just wanted to share my experience in Cheltenham high street Starbucks today. I used to be a regular customer and spent many a lunchtime there. After not visiting for a few months I popped in and the customer service I witnessed was very poor, 3 kids throwing cloths at each other, pinching a phone and teasing the guy they were going to put it in the oven etc. I took my coffee upstairs and noticed how grubby the stairs looked and how standards have dropped. The other lady who I got to know previously ( can't remember her name, think it begins with K) came upstairs to clear the cup's and we had a lovely chat as she remembered me. She is a real asset to your company but unfortunately due to the behaviour of the ' kids' working in there now I won't be visiting again

I was at Starbucks Cineworld Cheltenham and the cashier said my payment hasn't gone through so I had to pay from a different card again. I asked for a payment rejected receipt and couldn't get one. Meanwhile my bank said my payment has gone and is minus money in my account so it has definitely gone and they did nothing to fix it so I basically had to pay £18 for two medium hot chocolates.

Surly staff who don’t accept Starbucks app for payment and free shots 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ . Franchise or not, there are certain expectations from a Starbucks coffee shop and this one let the brand down

Unpleasant flat white. Great bloke behind the counter. Nobody else was there.

Don't really know. As it is part of the Cineworld complex I only use it while waiting for the film to start. However, for various reasons I never buy coffee there.

Current management is extremely nice and friendly, we feel very much at home and happy to be regulars here. They also cater to plenty of people who are just stopping off for a coffee before a film 😁 unfortunately lately they're understaffed but they are dealing with it by putting in 110% currently

Invited. Not a big fun of their coffee and barista skills are none, plus all that "tax"🤔 If you can, go to local, nake relationship, have a great coffee and chat each time...

The service was very fast and efficient and the staff were happy to help.

Friendly staff quick service, cinnamon buns nice but warm would be better.

Awful service …given drink I didn’t order when I told them that they just shrugged their shoulders ! I had to pay for another one as I was ill at the time and needed a drink ! Will definitely not be going there again !

As an ex Starbucks employee this is my favourite store in Cheltenham! Staff are so lovely and they always make my fussy drink orders spot on 😂 the lack of Starbucks app payments is a little annoying - but it makes sense because they are owned by the cinema so I don’t mind at all 💗

Not great coffee. Over 5 pounds for a large and it's only 2/3 full. Even other Starbucks are cheaper.

Good standard coffe , and the service was okk!

The coffee was good. The staff were pleasant. But it was evening and was shutting earlier than advertised - the doors left wide open despite a huge draught as they brought tables in from outside, and then we were asked to leave. Had we known we could have gone elsewhere from the start.

Walked in there and there was 4 people behind the counter, all chatting to each other they could see I was stood there waiting and chose to ignore me, I stood there for a good 5 minutes before one rude man turned and looked at me, I asked a simple question if they had any pumpkin spiced lattes left, he plainly and rudely just said no and went back to chat to his colleagues, working in customer service myself I have never ever walked into a place and felt so unwelcome, your staff here need some serious training, I will be advising everyone I know to stay clear and use the one in town instead,

Hoy me tomé un café con mi abuela, y la de ella no estaba caliente y la mía era simplemente vil. Si vas a cargar algo de 6 libras por 2 cafés, entonces hazlos agradables
