Breakfast - non existent Customer service none existent Server was aware we were waiting and didn’t acknowledge us. Couple/family in front ended up taking the chairs off the tables. Was referred by the travelodge nearby as an option for an early breakfast. Sorry, don’t put a member of staff on with 1 months service on their own. So don’t blame him - management sort it out.

It's now been twice that you have not delivered my order. And on limited money you have left me without food. Once a break down of your van, and today a picking error. Your service has become a joke, I would not advise people to use your store . You need new management. Totally rubbish service.

The worst section for "fresh" meat I have come across from a big supermarket. The beef that was stocked would have fit in one trolley. Are they forcing us to become vegetarian or to just eat prepared food that is equivalent to junk food??? No wonder so many people are unhealthy & overweight in this country!!!

Just now me and my family been there for shopping and experienced very tremendous experience from this guy from the counter. He was so rude towards me and my family. And the supervisor not even considered our complaint. After checkout this guy started to abuse us in his mother tounge. He was so racist towards us. He simply came for an argument with us in a rude way. And then my partner asked him to speak politely. He was smiling and at the same time he was swearing.

What is happening at Asda Cheltenham. It used to be such a good store. Now I rarely come out with a full shopping list as shelves are often empty or the product is suddenly no longer available and now I can’t guarantee my phone payment will work - one day it does, another it doesn’t. I don’t carry cards - it’s 2024!!! Staff are apologetic and say it’s a new system & doesn’t take American Express. Well it didn’t take any of the cards presented so I had to leave my shopping - I’m off to Aldi tomorrow - always works there!!!

Edit - click and collect lockers have been fixed and everything is working smoothly. Lovely staff, but the click and collect system is very confusing. You can do C&C here, but the lockers don’t work, the phone number doesn’t work, and you have to go into the shop and ask someone for help. A sign would be really helpful.

We've just been to this Asda and were disgusted to find just one till open with a cashier on it. There were 8 customers waiting with trollies full of shopping. There were 4 Adsa staff hovering around the self service area including a supervisor, who I asked if they could get another aisle opened. She told me that there physically wasn't anyone available 😳 About 8 minutes later another aisle was opened. Poor service Asda. We spent £215 on groceries and diesel, where is the customer service?? Maybe you should train more staff on operating tills. 🤔😕

Absolutely terrible customer service. I went into Asda to buy some medicine that contained paracetamol which is age restricted. The kid at the self service asked me for ID. I didn’t have it on me. Straight away proceeded to go through my bags and take the items out without saying another word. First of all being in my 30s and getting asked for ID is completely ridiculous, for a 16 restricted item. But fair enough, I worked in retail. Fine. But what’s NOT acceptable is no apologising to a customer and not offering to hold the items back whilst ID is being retrieved or doing anything at all to try and be helpful. To add to this, a few months ago the alarm barriers set off every time staff and customers went through, this same kid working at the self checkout, had the nerve to pull me over and check my bags and receipt. Based on the rest of the google reviews it look’s like how things are simply run at Asda Cheltenham. One more thing. I’ve said thank you to other staff members before after authorising a restricted items at the self service before to which they blank you and say nothing back. Best to avoid this store.

At 13 : 35 today driving up Tewkesbury road up towards town went over the hill down towards Tesco only to be confronted by an Asda van across both lanes having pulled out to turn right waiting for traffic the other side to clear(which before pulling out he could see the other side was not empty of traffic) this was just idiotic as traffic coming down this road over the hill can be doing at least 40 mph maybe you can tell your driver that bread and milk are not worth causing an accident.

Unfortunately not the best experience. Wanted to get breakfast. Was 7am so was only expecting grab and go. The coffee machine ran out of milk on the first coffee order. Alerted a member of staff who could not have cared less. Shrugged shoulders and walked away. Went over to customer service and was told it was the cafes problem which doesn’t open till 8.30. So no coffee. No lids for the large cups either for a colleague who decided to try a tea. Again the next member of staff passed the issue on saying try them over there! Clearly the staff are not happy to be serving people at 7am. The grab and go sandwich section was completely bare save for one Smokey bean and cheese wrap with a best before of today. So when I read reviews before coming that said it wasn’t well stocked I should have headed to Costa. At least they might have had coffee!

ASDA Cheltenham is a budget-friendly store that offers low prices and grocery delivery. My shopping experience was fine overall, but I did notice that a significant number of items on the shelves don't match the placecards and isle descriptions. The store offers a range of items, from household goods to food, DIY, and many others. If you’re looking for a bargain, ASDA Cheltenham might be worth checking out. I also noticed that there was only one staff at the till, with a long queue piled up, while other tills were unstaffed, frustrating some customers.

Visited this morning and the frozen section had large amounts of products not restocked; weirdly though many of the ones in stock had 'out of stock' labels on in front of them. Generally the offers and placing of products is weird, for the frozen treats there are 3 seperate areas, 2 of those are 'special offers' but the offers seemed to be fairly random across shelves. So to make a 'buy 2 for £5' offer you'd have to worked across different shelf locations in between price reductions and similar '2 for £4' offfers. It doesnt help that the labelling is outside of the freezer units and they weren't lit, so when I open the door to actually see whats there in the dark corners it's a pain trying to figure out what price or offer it could be in, constant opening and closing. It just made what would have been a 2 minute task in somewhere like Tescos into a 10 or 15 minutes of doubling back on myself to see I hadn't messed up. Also, I'm not sure if this is a difference between stores or what, but could not find tinned fish anywhere, all the tinned items seemed to be split among different aisles, it just seems weird to have like 3 partial shelves of tinned items across 3 aisles like this and most likely a 4th location that, for the life of me, I couldn't find. The products are good and the prices too, but my gosh the layout and placement baffles me.

We were visiting the area and decided to go to the Asda cafe. We asked for the menu and the lady pointed it out. Literally nothing on the menu was available. I then asked for a cheese toastie which she said she will bring to our table. I started eating it and then realised it was chicken. I am a vegetarian and this was a complete shock to me. I was literally feeling nauseous and in shock. I told the lady and she replied with a ‘oh’. She said it’s normally on this side and she had picked up the wrong one without looking. Such want to highlight behaviour of staff at the self service in Asda store Cheltenham on 15th July 2023 at around 15:00 pm. behaviour of the staff was so rude when I only asked simple question, I got the meat from the shelve, there was no price tag placed on the shelve, when I scan the barcode, it was expensive, then I called for help, worker came over, I mentioned I do not want this meat as it is pricey and he said in very abrupt voice “the price is what is on the barcode” then I said again I got this product from shelve, there was no mentioned of price, then again he mentioned price is what’s on the barcode, then his colleague came over to see what’s going on, when I explained she was even ruder and very abrupt . This is my first incident at Asda, after shopping there for over 10 year. I hope someone at higher level highlight workers how to react with customers at any situation and help.

Our shopping was never delivered (not the first time this has happened either), a voicemail left after our slot had expired to say they ‘can’t deliver’ please call back. I tried to call back but there is no way to get through as a pre-recorded message explains to go online and then the line cuts off. I phoned the national number which puts you through to a Singapore call centre however they cannot help as they do not actually work in the Cheltenham store and they were also unable to get through to the Cheltenham store. I asked for my order to be cancelled and to be refunded however on my account it’s still showing as ‘out for delivery’ so whether I’ll need to follow this up will have to be seen.

An accessibility nightmare. The store wheelchairs are almost always broken in some way, the wheelchair trollies wheels are too close so they jam the chairs front wheels and make reversing impossible, the accessible toilet has sensors so if a store wheelchair goes anywhere near them they set off multiple alarms, alerting everyone at the checkouts to you, and any other sensors Will be set off by the wheelchair too. The security/customer support staff member at the front always comments on what store mobility aids I should use, and only listens to the abled bodied people I'm with whenever I try to tell him I know what I'm doing. Even the toilets were shoddy at best, with a broken soap dispenser, tissues instead of toilet paper, and no emerge call rope or button you could easily get to if you needed it. There were enough people to have a couple per aisle and they did not enforce social distancing. There were several staff members who were also not following distancing rules and one even joked "ooh you're not 2 meters away from me," to another staff member. Agree with other posters who say the store is good overall but they have a tiny frozen section at the expense of a large alcohol setion. I don't think this is a fair reflection of the demographic around the store as it's an area comprised of almost all families, who would probably appreciate greater range of frozen food. Examples: they only stock ONE sort of frozen roast potato (don't have time to make my own), and these are often out of stock when I go and they barely have any of the Asda range of frozen vegetarian meals and products I used to buy in Asda's Wiltshire store. As I said, there are lots of plus points to the store, including a petrol station on site, cafe, and great George at Asda clothes range. They also have a cards and toys section. The restricted frozen section is a real oddity!

Unlike some supermarkets I find Asda to have more useful and consistent offers. They do the 'Buy three for ten pounds' offer on some meat products. Like whole 'cook in the bag' chickens, bacon, sausages and pork things. (Not chops- the other thinner ones that I cant remember the name of). It's a pick and mix so you are not lumbered with having to buy 3 chickens and prey you can eat the things before they rot in the bag. The place is laid out well and there are the 'roll back' prices they do which can be pretty good for things like fruit juice. I personally will not pay £2 for a liter of fruit juice. They do offers at £1 (ish) on some juice so I'll buy those. There is a clothes section which I've never looked round, the usual hot food counter with the usual sausage, chicken etc etc. They have a good selection of bread and rolls (I like the Polish bread they sell- also available at other outlets like Tesco and the Polish shops scattered around the town). They do a pretty good selection of cakes as well. There is a 'World Food' alley which has a fair selection of goods but nothing particularly outstanding enough to say 'Grab me quick'. I usually grab a tin of stuffed vine leaves which are nice. This is the place to find the things like sauerkraut, gherkins, anchovy's etc. Don't be put off - those are not the only things there, I just like that sort of stuff. The frozen food section is - to me - pretty naff. If there is such a thing I'd call it the eyesore of the shop. The alcohol shelves are good. Plenty of different spirits, wines, beer and cider. All and all I like Asda due to the layout, tidiness and selection of food and drink. But mainly the fact they do regular offers on many things. Not like some of the others that may have a good deal on two or three things to lure you into their domain...hahaha. The staff seem OK but I've never dealt with any, other than the check-out women. One thing I hate about all big stores is the self check out. There is the future of A.I. They can sack more staff with the use of more self check outs. (Oooh, I am a picky little person a'in't I). Once again the car park is big and they have a petrol station there as well.

I have mixed opinions about Asda Cheltenham, the staff are great and they have a very nice cafe, however I've gone in several occasions at regular times such as Saturday mornings and have not been able to get what I needed due to lack of stock. There is a lot of things that are just not available but the store is quite small so this is understandable. I generally have a much better experience at the Gloucester store.

Popped in to the very cold basic cafe on a rather warm day at 11 am. Last orders for breakfast were midday. There were four other tables of two and only one table waiting to be served before us. Eventually we were able to order two full breakfasts, one tea and a small mocha. Only three staff, one appeared to be the manager. Pleasant girl took the order at the til and said she would bring the drinks over. After 20 minutes of shivering under the air-con unit, the drinks were brought over. the tea was stewed and the mocha was luke warm and also a HUGE mug of it. Ten minutes later the breakfasts were presented. Two nice fried eggs, cool bacon, uncooked mushrooms, three warm sausages, uncooked tomatoes and warm baked beans. By now we were very hungry so just got on with eating. Obviously the mocha was cold by the time we had finished and neither of us finished our drinks. For nearly £14, we left very disappointed and shortchanged. We like shopping in Asda but will never grace their cafe again.

This is a typical supermarket coffee shop, but it is well placed on the outskirts of Cheltenham and near to the main roads to Gloucester and the M5, as well as some of the bigger residential areas. Service is OK, the coffee is OK, and the food is what you might expect in this sort of coffee shop: toasties, sandwiches, etc. It is useful if you are meeting someone for a coffee or want to combine it with your shopping

Great to break from the Christmas shopping in this cafe. Staff very friendly and tea came with pot of hot water. May be traditional but often overlooked nowadays. Appreciated.

They were short staffed today, which I totally empathise with, and the single serving member of staff did apologise when she got to me, HOWEVER I waited at least(!!) 20+ minutes in line whilst the second member of staff created some posters on her laptop, edited, printed, stuck them up all over (in full view of peeved customers) - the posters stated they would be using takeaway cups because they were short staffed 😆😅 literally help your colleague serve, explain this to me, and give me my coffee. I would’ve walked out like the numerous other people had I not had kids with me. Poor chap in front had to take a seat for a sore back, only hung around for some deal he had on his phone. Personally, felt like it severely lacked common sense. Otherwise fine.

A hidden gem, set away from the busy shopping areas of Cheltenham, yet within easy reach. Cafe offers a good range of drinks and food for all times of the day, meeting many dietary needs. Seating available both inside and out. Coffee is absolutely delicious. Excellent service. Ideal place to sit and relax. Worth a visit.

Awful visit today at the regents arcade soho coffee - usually it is so lovely and well staffed. However, today I was greeted with two young girls who were the pinnacle of disrespectful and rude, they wouldn’t stop saying nasty comments to my mother and laughing at her order. Then proceeded to watch us and laugh and made us so uncomfortable we had to leave.
