Great service and superb selection of wines. Worth going for the knowledge of the wines from Malo and complimented by an excellent meat platter

what a find...Southbourne has come on in leaps and bounds recently and is turning out to be a rather pleasant place to be. Purchased some fabulous cheeses and savory pastries and then I found Cake Box. OMG what an array of tempting cakes they have, I choose the mixed fruit with nuts and it did not disappoint. Fabulous choice & great taste, Good Job Cakle Box Southbourne.

Back after one year for another family birthday and Dickies didn’t disappoint. Great nibbles to start, excellent mains and delicious pudding. As good as it was before and no more expensive. Polite, helpful and pleasant service, excellent food, good choice of drinks. Definitely coming again next year!

I went this morning for a breakfast with my 2 year old. Had the best eggs Benedict that I’ve had in many years. My boy had the porridge which was so tasty, I had to finish his off as couldn’t let it go to waste. I also ordered a cappuccino which was top quality. The lad that served us was polite, attentive and the food was quick to come out. Hands down a 10/10 experience. Will be back and also recommended to friends and family.

We are a local family who have been here for Sunday lunch previously (about 4 years ago) and for dinners, but there must've been a change in chef or management, as the quality has taken a nose dive. A group of 7 of us came here for my mother's 70th birthday lunch and left feeling ripped off. For £24 upwards per roast you expect a filling, good quality dinner. The portions were inadequate, the gravy was gloopy (like a Bisto), the food lukewarm, and half the vegetables burnt. Those of us who had beef found much of it to be fat and gristle. They bring a plate of vegetables to share between the table which, once portioned out, provide three TINY roast potatoes per person and we all left hungry. And you have to pay extra for a Yorkshire pudding which, for the price, should be included. We like to support local businesses hence visiting Larder House many times before. Sadly it feels as though they are relying on their (outdated) reputation, have become rather arrogant and no longer care about their customers' experience. Unlike somewhere else local, such as Dickies, who clearly respect their customers and provide a consistent service. I'd recommend Brewhouse for a better roast dinner for around £10 cheaper pp.

Dirty, overpriced, food is not fresh, dirty cups, glasses, plates. Avoid. Reply to the owner: No this is not a mistake. I visited on 01/11/2024 around 11am. The issues were: on the menu, at the top, it stats that tea is included in the breakfast, I was told that this is for guests only. The menu did not state this. The breakfast is £12, I was expecting a freshly cooked breakfast for that money, but what I got was food that had been cooked ages ago, that had obviously been left on a hot plate. Eggs were over cooked, bacon and toast was undercooked, the beans were missing. How can you charge £12 for a breakfast where most of the items have been cooked 20/30 minutes before and left out to dry up, it is an absolute disgrace. This was a £4 breakfast at best. If I were not there with my other people, I would have left immediately. The cups were dirty. The glasses next to the water were filthy, I dread to think when the water dispenser was cleaned. The sign outside is missing 80% of its letters! The seats, tables and cutlery were all dirty. The whole place is a dump, inside and out. I could go on.

I came to baffi for a special occasion as I was recommended this location from a good friend of mine and it didn’t disappoint . The customer service from the staff was amazing well mannered and patient with my family , in addition to this they even recommended an amazing choice of pizza for my brother who was quite indecisive . Finally the time it took to make our pizza was excellent fast and fresh . Pizza was well cooked with a nice amount of crunch to floppy texture which allowed for a beautiful mouthfeel and just when it can’t get any better the pizza had an impeccable cheese stretch just made my day . In conclusion if you’re looking for an amazing pizza for a fair price come to baffi . Try to avoid Cafe Riva .
