Have used Golden Orza for about 6 years, loved the food but their customer service is terrible. We are a family of 5 so our orders are pretty big and we often order. We complained a couple of years ago about the peking ribs, the sauce was watery and they were just gristle and fat, we did say the rest of the order was delicious. They offered us free ones on our next order which were much better. Then a couple of months ago we had a very large order and the prawn balls were over cooked badly, some inedible. I complained about the prawns but said how good the rest of the order was (even though it was a bit soggy as we had waiting a long time for it as was a busy Saturday night for them, but I didn’t mention this). The lady on the phone said I always complain and was expecting me to complain! She argued with me, wasn’t interested in seeing a picture of the over cooked prawn balls and eventually said next time we will get free prawns in our order. This week we made an order and I requested the prawn balls, again she argued with me, said we couldn’t have them as I always complain! Twice in 6 years I wouldn’t say is always complaining when we order regularly. She said she would refund this whole order and not make the food! So we went to Harmony a few doors up and had the best meal and will now always order from them. Madness!! If the food is in edible we should have a right to complain! I’d highly recommend Harmony food had better flavour, wished we went to them sooner.

The food delivered time is wrong. We had no updates when it was on its way as normal. The food itself is probably the worst Chinese I've ever had.

Had a 13 year old boy deliver the food to me shouting and being really loud outside at night waking up the neighbours. awful delivery. food wasnt great either.

visiting the area for a bank holiday, wasn't sure where to order from but would definitely recommend. food was great ordered twice in one week! 🤣

Very pleased as always. Forgot to ask for no prawns in my rice but they did it anyway assumedly because i normallt ask, great customer service. Food arrived in good time and was very tasty. Can't fault this place they are friendly people and the food is brilliant every time. Highly reccomended

Well we thought we would have a Chinese tonight for a change as I have little faith in finding a descent one anyway we ordered just under £29 of food and apart from the chicken balls it was dreadful , the curry and everything in it tasted like salt water , runny and tasteless , the so called special chow mein was just noodles cooked in soya with very little else and tasteless , not impressed , Indian is cheaper and way better ,Chinese today is too expensive and I can’t find a descent one anywhere, very disappointed with it I should have made cheese on toast instead , may give up Chinese they ain’t good anymore

Ordered here 1 times before and was ok. This time I ordered a half and half curry with mushroom onion and peas. And chicken balls. Usually what I get at home for £4.95 with drink. I was shocked they charged me £14.90 for this.. this isn’t a restaurant!! Also the half / half is available for £6.50 in the menu. Rice was undercooked, Il try some other place next time

The kung po had 1 x overcooked prawn in and the sauce was very watery I was really disappointed as we order from here all the time and I was really looking forward to it

2nd time I have ordered, on this occasion I chosen egg fried rice and sadly there was very little to no egg and it tasted like steamed rice, no soy even, I don't think uncle Roger would be happy with your egg fried rice tbh lol perhaps it was a one off mistake. food was delivered fast and before time

I was real hungry so placed my order, began to tidy up the table and dining area, doorbell rings, dinner has arrived. Exactly what you need after a hard day working from home.

Had great food from here, but felt the fried rice was a tad anaemic and in need of some soy to go with it. The duck was incredible - just wish it was shredded (which they may do and I might not have realised). Overall, a great place and we'll be back.

You will never beat this Chinese! Their food is the best for miles! We have been using them for years and they never disappoint. Our particular favourite is Crispy Chilli Chicken or Beef with egg fried rice and plain chow mein. We love their spring rolls and chicken sweetcorn soup too. Give them a try you won’t regret it!

I rarely get the opportunity to rate a good takeaway...but finally I do! I ordered from this chinese for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised. It arrived early, the food was hot, the salt n pepper chicken wings were incredible, the ribs were so tasty with lots of meat on them.. a really good takeaway! Will definitely be ordering again .

Soup was weak and tasteless with almost no sweetcorn. Egg fried rice was white with a tiny amount of egg. Very disappointed with this place, will not go back.

Forgot to put in the notes not to put shrimp in my rice and as I was just about to call them to ask, I got a call from a very nice lady at the restaurant asking if I wanted it, so they remembered from previous times despite the fact I don't even order that often, so was very impressed with this care for customers. The food was brilliant as always and arrived very quick. Highly reccomend Golden Oryza!

Food was okay, not great… I’m guessing it’s the owner that delivered my food, I came to the door and his response was “oh it’s you” in a rude way. So I won’t be going there again

Was very disappointed with the order. Fried rice with chicken seemed not been fried at all, it was just the boiled rice with boiled chicken and a bit of peas; spring rolls contained nothing but the bean sprouts, there was no chicken nor other veg apart from bean sprouts. Will not recommend or order again from this place

Delivery is always very quick, they always pay attention to the notes, and the food is always amazing. Have only had to ring up a couple of times before but both times, the lady has been very polite and friendly. Highly recommend this takeaway, best Chinese in the area!

We booked for 14 people for the meal to be delivered at 7/7.15 it arrived in boxes every meal with name on it was very fresh and hot,they also sent a few on the house meals which was.lovely.The food was very tasty very fresh and not greasy like the one up the road we used to use. Wrong soup was delivered but I called and they immediately brought the right one 👌 Pork dumplings were lovely. But disappointed by my seafood udon as I had 2 pieces of prawn and squid and the rest was literally noodles and a few more in mussels. And my lamb for my pancakes was so dry and chewy I had jaw ache a few mouthfuls into my first pancake 🙈

2nd order from here in recent times, and both orders have been great, decent solid Chinese food! after doing a fair bit of takeaway hopping recently to find somewhere decent this is now my go to for Chinese, delivery could maybe be a bit quicker but maybe I’m being a little unfair. Complimentary salt and chilli chips were BANGING and a nice little extra to receive. Cut a long story short, order ya Chinese from here as you won’t be disappointed with the food 👍

Food was lovely, fresh and hot. Sweet and sour pork balls the pork was a little fatty in places but this was to be expected. I arrived late collecting my order so they kindly re did some of my order so that I didn't have soggy chip/cold food. Thank you for lovely food and service we really enjoyed it.

Good food quickly prepared. The sesame toast was a bit soggy as it was issued in a plastic box not a paper bag. Overall well worth a try.

Large portions, free gifts & great food!

It’s a busy Friday night so I can understand things being prepped earlier but this wasn’t up to your usual standards. And the complimentary plastic-cheesy chips are the least Chinese thing you’ve ever served and are making think of ordering elsewhere from now on.

Have ordered from here many times but unfortunately this order was far from the quality it has been in the past. Pork in green pepper and black bean sauce was watery, flavourless and ever piece of pork was fatty. The fat was thick and not trimmed, the sight of the fat was revolting. The spring rolls were greasy and had very little filling. Very disappointed.

First time using this outlet and was very happy with what we received, good oil used and very tasty, Only thing that could be addressed is the lovely spring roll could be a bit crisper. Apart from that 10/10

Awful food ordered today and will never order again soggy predawn toast soaked in oil and the chips are hard and undercooked. Will be eve order here again and the satay sauce we’ll look at the picture it’s just basically runny oil

You need to update your Just Eat details!! I ordered online, waited till 5.10pm then they cancelled, by this time I was really hungry, plus now I have to wait for my refund!!! Not happy. Won't be using you again.

Really disappointed with the Duck Roll, it was far too big and full of bean sprouts, and 3 small pieces of duck! When I began eating it, all the oil spoilt out onto my shirt and jeans. I wont be going back

Tasty food and large portions but everything could have been cut into smaller chunks. Not very hot. I had to microwave it.
