We had a take away from blue jade last week it was good , ordered again last night same food awful. Rice dry taste off spat it out ,cheow main taste bad chicken balls dry.so call to ask for money back the lady very very rude i explained last week food was good that why I have ordered again but the lady said dont ever order off them again because they wont deliver to us , go somewhere else so I will , what a shame with her attitude.

Pretty standard Chinese tbh. Large pancake roll was a bit over done. Hot & sour soup - nice. Beef & blackbean not bad, all in all I’d give it 6.5/10

The order was there within the time specified the driver was very polite, the food we ordered pancake roll and chicken ball burnt the whole meal was ruined never go back again

food really good english girl behind the counter absolutely useless packs phantom things in your order and when you ring with a complaint accuses you of stealing, the owner however is very nice and helpful

Recently ordered from this takeaway. The prawn crackers and chicken curry were OK. The mixed platter starter was dreadful. There were over-fried misshapen orange lumps on skewers. That was meant to be chicken satay, but any shreds of chicken were long-gone in these lumps of overcooked batter. They were so salty they were completely inedible- even the neighbour's cat wouldn't touch it. The sweet and sour king prawns, instead of being lightly coated in golden batter, looked like huge dark brown cumberland sausages. On dissection we did discover a tiny rubber overcooked prawn in the middle. The rest was a vast lump of totally overfried batter. Disgusting. Threw most of our meal away. I don't think they even know how to cook here.

Chinese style pork good but so many beansprouts, shredded chilli beef was nice chow mein very good but the egg fried rice was bland and no egg and no peas :( It was all cooked well and did get free prawn crackers over £18

This take away is run by the same good folks from 30 years ago, it was my fav chinese then and it still is. Absolutely lovely, I live out of their delivery range and I still buy from here! Try it please!

No contento con nuestro pedido de esta noche, costillas de cerdo duras y masticables. Galletas de gambas rancias. Un montón de verduras gruesas con nuestro pato y frijoles negros, lo que significa pato limitado. ¡Chow mein tenía un sabor funky y sé que me duele la barriga! ! ¡No volveré a Blue Jade! !

Always really nice not greasy lucky we came across them from another Chinese that was closed one night and never been back. This is our go to Chinese now

We have used this takeaway for years, and they never let us down. Order the food by phone, and 40 minutes later it's being delivered. Nice touch is that they know the address before we tell them! Delivery driver has been bringing us food for years, and is always smiling and friendly....thanks very much Blue Jade.

Most people use the take away but we prefer to sit in. The food is lovely - the decor has not changed in a good while but there is always a warm welcome and great food. 💕👍😍

I have ordered here for years but not within the last 6months today's takeaway had no flavour in any of the dishes and the best thing from £40 worth of food was the prawn crackers

Chicken chowmane and prawn toast was nice. Chicken satays and chicken balls were really bad quality chicken. Not what I expected from Blue Hade. Disappointed

Had a takeaway tonight. Best Chinese takeaway we have ever had. Everything we ordered was perfect. Couldn't say anything negative about it. Excellent 👍 and speedy delivery.

We ordered the steak, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. However it was tasteless, the steak looked like mince put together and the chicken balls were bland, the chicken was over cooked and the batter was raw inside. It I see a shame because we ordered form them last week and it was lovely. Unfortunately we will never use them again.

1st time was really good but 2nd time was really dry over cooked and not really edible

Llamamos a la oportunidad sin una reserva, y nos encontraron una mesa, aunque el lugar estaba muy ocupado. La comida fue excelente y sabrosa. Si eres un gran comedor, este es el lugar para ti, ya que puedes comer y volver a pedir todo lo que quieras. Es bastante caro, pero si comes mucho, entonces vale la pena el gasto.

Just had a takeaway from here and i think they have a different chef. Large pancake roll practically empty, far too much hard batter on king prawns and very watery curry. Please bring old chef back. First awful meal I have had. Been using this place for 8 years 😭😭😭

Currently sat in the shop waiting for our meal Everything smells amazing lots of happy customers coming ina me out And the staff here are amazing so friendly I have 2 children with me and they habe already been given a sweetie and been spoken to Great customer service We have had food here before and always enjoyed it 2st time coming into the shop though 😃 x

Have found the takeaways from here to be good and arrived in a good time. We do live nearby so I can't say for other places further away.

We decided not to cook again and voted Blue Jade it has been our local for far too many years and we had our usual order. The food was of a good quality and very tasty, we always use this for a quick respite from cooking , we are never disappointed

Where to start, if you begin with poor ingredients you get a dogs dinner, I can't recommend anything from this place, AVOID!

La esposa y yo he utilizado siempre este restaurante cada vez que han vuelto al país en los últimos 10 años algo, mientras que trabajar lejos y nunca han decepcionado. Pero esta noche fue utilizada en un capricho y como normalmente era muy sabroso y muy bien de precio y no podría haber sido mejor, lo recomendamos encarecidamente.

"Bueno, pensamos, sólo arroz y pollo lo que pueda ir mal? ! "El arroz estaba frío aunque nos sentamos en la tienda ya que preparaban, el chow mein era frío y seco y desagradable y el pollo PELOTAS NI SIQUIERA PARECEN pelotas de pollo! Pero aún así, pensé "bueno, quizás la salsa dulce y amarga puede probar un poco mejor" no los 3 de nosotros tuvimos 2 bocados y tuvimos que tirarlo fue horrorosa. Mi gato no quiere el pollo que deformado y asqueroso

Este Chino es absoluta basura. No puedo entender cómo todavía abierto. Fui a recoger la comida, esperar 10 minutos para que esté listo y todavía estaba frío. En primer lugar poco a las bolas de pollo y donde sin duda no pollo, algunos procesados algo...

He sido residente y cliente de jade azul por más de 26 años y son sin duda de la mejor comida china alrededor. Por supuesto, cada llevar tiene días malos, pero el personal en Blue jade siempre ir más allá para conseguir que.

As soon as I walked in, I could tell that this was a different echelon of establishment. I could smell Gavin's Mum's special sweet and sour sauce, and his spring rolls were to die for. Service was excellent, and we were happy to pay £60. I will be returning again, but I think that they should open in daytimes! This is the best restaurant I have ever been to, and its not even a restaurant - wow!

Muy decepcionados con la calidad de la comida esta noche. Pedí el Po Kong pollo y vino lleno de piña apenas pollo. La carne mein la comida estaba muy seco. La entrega nos llevó una hora y 35 minutos, y la comida llegó fría. Yo no lo recomendaría.

After a recent order from Blue Jade Chinese takeaway, I was disgusted to receive such atrocious customer service. Firstly, I received a very unfriendly response to my call which already left a bad impression, baring in mind this was my first purchase from Blue Jade. On the phone I was informed my order would take half an hour to be delivered. After patiently waiting longer than told for my order, I received my food an hour and a half later leaving me appalled. The food I felt was nowhere near worth an hour and a half waiting time as it was bland and tasteless. I have tasted worse food but after such horrendous customer service and first impression the food at Blue Jade certainly did not win me over, therefore it would take a lot of convincing to persuade me to purchase from the takeaway again.

We have been using blue jade for years, and never found another Chinese as good as them, staff are friendly and helpful, and don't mind if you don't want veg in your food or curry sauce instead of sweet and sour, which is good job with us ordering. Food is excellent quality and taste great, you get good sized portions.

I am an international student. I ordered chicken szechuan style, spare ribs in peking sauce and special fried rice. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice food, especially the very large pancake rolls. Quick friendly service too.
