Tried this Chinese takeaway as our usual place was closed. Will never order from there again. Food was delivered late, we had a dish missing even though they confirmed our order and were rude and unhelpful and refused to deliver the missing dish even though they messed up the order. The food was cold and not very nice was quite slimy and tasteless.

One of the best Chinese takeaways we have ever had. Crispy chilli beef was so good. Never had it as crispy as this before especially as a takeaway it normally goes soggy. Shows it’s cooked fresh. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend to anyone.

After trying other Chinese takeaways when we first moved to Bournemouth 12 years ago, we came across this one and it's been our 'go to' Chinese ever since. We have never had a bad meal from here, the prices are good for what you get and they deliver when they say they will and quite often sooner than stated. Highly recommend 😁

Li’s is always my go to takeaway, consistently the food is amazing quality and delicious. Its quite hard to find good vegan options for chinese and Li’s is miles and miles better than anywhere else in bournemouth. The vegan chicken satay is incredible. Will never order anywhere else again! Delivery always surprises me with how quick it arrives too, especially even during busy hours, and the delivery people are always so friendly and polite!

Extremely yummy vegan food😍 Staff are so helpful when it comes to vegan food. I don’t regularly order from chineses but this will now be my go to! Staff were kind and helped me pick out the popular dishes. Extremely knowledgeable around what dishes contains eggs. Whereas if I were to go to another. There would be a big language barrier or the staff has no idea Staff here speak perfect English and are very warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone. Definitely do not be put off as I was originally put off from the reviews but they’re so untrue😒 Restaurant itself is family run, assuming it’s an independent shop. Spent £30 but could’ve easily spent more considering how yummy it is. Also offered to swap the prawn crackers to veggie spring roll which is vegan too. Lovely people 🍀

I regularly order a fully vegan feast from here, amazing section, great taste. They are very accommodating & rare to find a chinese that does vegan meat alternatives. Only downside is they don't deliver to me & i'm 15 mins away!

Used Li's before, always had good food and excellent, friendly service. The special Chow Mein today was excellent. Hot, fresh and full of meat and prawns. Very yummy 😋

Amazing amazing food! Young gentleman was lovely and took my order efficiently. My order was ready in 15 minutes when I got to the takeaway. I absolutely love the food here. It's gorgeous, especially the chilli beef strips. I have never had a bad meal here nor service. Staff were extremely polite and always kept me updated. Ignore the 1 stars. They're so biased that I bet they don't even talk to the staff to solve their issues. Sadly too many keyboard warriers who have nothing better to do Highly recommended this Chinese for a quick bite

We ordered food (takeaway) and were quoted an hour for delivery - no problem with that. The order arrived 20 minutes later than the expected time and it was cold. This isn’t the first time this has happened but this time we are not happy. We believe that the delivery driver is delivery a few ? Orders on the same trip - we don’t have a problem with that but there needs to be a much better way of keeping everything warm - I don’t appreciate having to re-heat everything in the microwave

absolutely appalling, young female at counter was moody and didn’t even smile when taking my order, she responded to me with a attitude and didn’t even apologise when they took 40 minutes with my small order for myself. definitely do not recommend and food wasn’t even that great.

Really impressed with my order, crispy chilli beef was genuinely crispy even covered with sauce, chili garlic ribs where really good. Egg friend rice was fluffy and light. Just need to confirm if they have an option for no MSG.

The "BEST" Chinese food in Bournemouth, I have tried several places over time but this place is worth the drive to get to!

I go often and they make my meals how I like them. I usually go for chicken chow mein and ask for more sauce as I don't like it too dry and it comes out perfect.

We always order from lei’s but this meal was bad. Ate it as couldn’t be bothered to take it back. They said over hour wait, fair enough but when it arrived it was cold, curry was congealed and not even warm. Rice and chow mien was ok but not hot. The ribs pretty tasteless. The strips were tasteless. For £28 not good. I think it had been in transit for hour. We’ve always had good food from here. Time for a change

After having a couple of bad experiences with another restaurant we thought we would try Li’s. Oh my good!! They didn’t disappoint! Honestly amazing we will definitely be ordering again. I Missed a bit of our address out, called the restaurant and they were so lovely and the driver got it to us. 6stars if we could!

Ordered a takeaway from here on a Saturday 8th @ 6.55pm. Set menu dinner no5 for 3 people. Food was good but only for 2 people ie, 2 x pancake rolls, 2 x ribs, 2 x chicken satay. If it had been a full order then it would have been 4/5 stars.

Meaty tasty ribs & excellent chow mein. Chose the spicy option could have done with hotter chilli’s but still very good. Will defo order again.

Had your takaway last month with family, highly recommended, it was great, very tasty, had it again acouple of weeks ago , still very nice ,tried it again tonight, very disappointed,prawn curry and rice, very bland,tastless. The hot & sour soup was very tasty. But so disappointed with curry. This was a takeaway & not a restaurant visit.

Normally the best Chinese around. Have been going here for years. Tonight however was very disappointing. Pork in chilli and oyster sauce was flavourless. I always enjoy a side of curry sauce and chips. I don't normally like chips, but the ones from the Chinese are always spot on but for some reason they have changed to some sort of horrible steak cut oven chips. Disappointing to say the least but shall be trying somewhere new next time.

Not had a problem before but this evening food was delivered cold, lamb was mainly bone dumplings had absorbed all the vinegar and were cold satay sauce was congealed the vegetable curry was not edible the spices were not cooked out! Very very disappointed we spent nearly £50 on our order

Best takeaway in Bournemouth. We've been using it for years and always found food to be excellent and service really efficient. Run by a lovely family with a great online ordering service.

The fake 'chicken' is really delicious and you get big portions. Plus it's vegan, which means vegans now have a great option whenever they want Chinese takeaway. The only way it could be better is by adding fake 'chicken' and sweetcorn soup, and fake 'duck'. I very highly recommend Li's.

Good Chinese but do not order Thai - smelt off and look congealed - a phone call to Li’s advised me ‘that’s how they do it’ . When I questioned again that it smelt off “sorry” was the response. Don’t advertise Thai if you can’t deliver it!

Having lived down south for over 10 years now, I'd yet to find a decent Chinese takeaway, until I found this amazing place! Food is always delicious, hot and wonderful staff. The worst chinese I have ever had Took over a hour for them to deliver, when the food arrived it was cold, the crispy chilli beef was rock hard and the ribs full of fat. Terrible customer service when rang they claimed they have never had a complaint in 20 years then rudely shouted an hung up

Usually Li's are very good tonight the chow mein was super bland and the satay sauce was a bit thick and too sweet and the crispy chilli beef was quite hard and overly sweetened. The fried rice was fluffy and the mini spring rolls were good. Not quite as good as usual.

Tasty, well cooked food, extremely hard working staff, however waiting time sometimes can be too long.

Had a magnificent takeaway from li's like always, don't let the 1 stars liiars put you off ordering reading through the 1 stars, they honestly sound like idiots not contacting the takeaway to help solve their problem. Honestly it's a no brainer to contact them if you're unhappy... Would personally ignore those liars, their service is superb and they always tell us the delivery times! Seeing that they're such a excellent takeaway, of course th3y will be busy, I wouldn't let the 1 stars ever change my mind. P. S. Always order a little earlier if you're not happy to wait😂

Have ordered from here many times and always been happy. Ordered tonight and was awful. Ordered beef in black bean, which I have had many, many times, but couldn't eat it tonight as it was SO spicy, I also ordered pork thai style for my husband which was bland and tasteless. Really looking forward to our meal but ended up disappointed.

We ordered a week ago and had a pleasant well cooked meal delivered. We ordered a similar meal tonight however it was awful. The ribs were dry and overcooked, the red Thai curry smelt awful and the noodles looked insipid. We threw most in the bin because of the smell. Its a shame.

I have been a customer of this take away for a number of years and the food is very good normally but enough is enough. I’ve ordered twice this week and have had to wait over 1hour 20 min for my food. On Wednesday night the order was incorrect and poorly cooked and now I’m sat here waiting over 85 mins for a take away and I’ve paid £4 for delivery(both times and every time) plus the food, only to be told that it’s still at the take away and hasn’t even left yet. This is the last time I will order food for here and am absolutely Disgusted with the service I have received. I can see from other reviews I’m not alone and wish the business I worked for could afford to let customers down with no remorse and the excuse of “we are busy”.The good news is for you with customer service like that and wrong orders going out at least your premium charge for delivery will mean that what customers you have left will get those food like other take aways within 45 min to an hours max. My household even supported your business during lockdown. Lesson learnt. Will find another take away for my business at £30-£40 a time approximately twice a week. Not what I want to be writing after a day at work!!!!

The spicy chilli and garlic lamb ribs are out of this world!Been ordering from here for years, I would strongly advise collection as I had issues once with delivery, and the service wasn’t great! Just pop down and collect it, problem removed lol!I cannot tell you how good the lamb ribs are, never seen them elsewhere and they are beyond tasty and very tender!

Han usado Li. Hace más de varios años y nunca he estado más decepcionado que esta noche. La comida se retrasó 20 minutos y cuando se llamó por teléfono para perseguirlo, le dijeron que había salido 5/10 minutos antes. El pato crujiente vino sin panqueques y telefoneó mientras estábamos comiendo solo para que nos dijeran que podían reembolsar 1. 20 o entregar dichos panqueques varios minutos después. No es bueno para nosotros ya que estamos a la mitad del pato. Curry y Chow Mien también estaban fríos, pero en ese momento simplemente se rindieron y tiraron todo. Una pérdida total de 30 libras, no estaban interesados, aunque el conductor apareció diez minutos después con nuestros panqueques. Decepcionado por la falta de interés, lo siento, no volveré a usar esta comida para llevar.

We used Li's takeaway for the first time recently and it was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were of great quality, for example the chicken balls we had were very large and contained nice pieces of chicken breast meat. The chow mein was tasty and had a great texture and it wasn't at all greasy, like it can be at other places. Overall we were very impressed and happy with our dinner from Li's Chinese Takeaway and will happily return again.

Lamento tener que escribir esta crítica, pero si el restaurante estaba demasiado ocupado hubiéramos preferido que nos lo dijeran y no hubiéramos pedido.

Li's just provided catering for our party and 65 people. A big order!! The food was absolutely amazing, served so well and right on time. All perfect and very popular with our guests. We can't thank you enough.

My local Chinese was closed on Tuesdays so tonight I tried Li's and very glad I Did. Fantastic service and the food was better in every way than our usual place. Love the large quantity of seaweed in the platter, the chicken dishes were moist and all the food tasted fresh and clean. Well done we will be back 👍

Tried it a couple of times as we've recently moved, food is ok but the second time of using them my order was wrong and the delivery driver conveniently didn't have any change, I'm all for topping drivers but feel agreaved when they purposely don't bring change to put you on the spot. In any case it's not the best in Bournemouth so I'll be using the old faithful from now on.

Nuestra comida llegó a tiempo y pipping caliente. No he tenido un chino así durante muchos años. Encantadores entrantes y los platos principales estaban muy sabrosos, todos recién preparados y las verduras aún crujientes, se notaba que todo estaba hecho en casa. Este lugar ha restaurado mi gusto en chino. También tuvimos un 10% de descuento en el primer pedido.

Amazing food and one of the best Chinese I have had.

First time we have tried this takeaway. Meal came hot and enjoyable. Only one thing but it’s to do with my taste, which to many chillies, so was hot in other ways.

Just moved to the area and I’m really impressed with this Chinese, they get 5* for customer service and 5* for the quality of the food. I ordered via their app and when paying by card I had to authorise via my banking app which caused a problem with my order. The restaurant called me to say my payment hadn’t gone through and could I pay by alternate means, I checked my banking app and the money had been debited, so said I’d leave the Chinese and check with my bank in the morning. No less than 2 minutes later I had another call from another person (assuming manager/owner) who apologised and said they’d just checked their account and my money was there and if I still wanted the food they’d cook it straight away and deliver ASAP. Well I’m glad they did deliver, we had chicken balls, rice, lemon chicken, crispy beef and duck noodles. The chicken balls were super tasty, massive and had no grease on them at all. The lemon chicken my wife informed me as really really good and my crispy beef was superb. For once a crispy beef that’s actually crispy!! Well done Li’s, I’ll definitely be ordering again
