Food still hot when arrived. Great tasting. 2nd time of using. Will use again.

Fancied a light dinner after a big bbq lunch out, decided to try our closest chinese takeaway as have recently moved to the area, heard my husband order vegetarian spring rolls, seaweed and egg fried rice for me and my 2 veggie kids and some crispy beef for him and he was sharing the rice, heard him repeat the order as he finished the call. Kids started eating first as I’m doing the waters and setting bath to run, quick tv dinner and all tired so they weren’t paying much attention except that they were excited they were so big, we all thought they were different and nice to try, however as soon as I bit into mine I realised i wasn’t chewing just vegetables and pulled a chunk of meat from my teeth. This obviously doesn’t sound too bad if you’re a meat eater but I haven’t eaten it for 25 years and my kids never have, my oldest burst into tears realising he’d been chomping away on God knows what and my youngest threw up. My husband rang, the man had a ‘whoops’ kind of style on the phone and said that he had the vegetarian ones there and ours were the wrong ones, but we said we wanted the refund and not the swap. I went as my husband could still eat his, was raging but had a 5 min walk to cool down so went ready to accept the apology and that everyone makes mistakes. But no. The man started arguing that because I hadn’t bought them back he couldn’t issue a refund. Bring back half eaten food that we’ve now thrown in the bin? I explained how upset we were and had to really argue and not accept no for an answer, while being shouted at and asking why I didn’t bring it back. They said eventually they would refund the spring rolls, but not the seaweed as they obviously couldn’t comprehend that we had gone off Chinese food for the night and said I would have to bring it all back. We are now having toast, kiwis and bananas for dinner (it’s late tomorrow is food shop).. but I would suggest unless you want to quadruple check your food while you’re collecting that somewhere with this attitude doesn’t have any concept of vegetarianism and that it’s actually really foul to provide a veggie meat, I was really only ready for an apology and the offer of a whole refund and I was happy to pay for the rice and chilli beef as it was eaten so am pretty shocked to be treated as though I was lying and had eaten it and didn’t want to pay. Never returning.

Terrible, they gave us meat spring rolls instead of veg ones and then refused to give us a refund. Will never be returning to this takeaway please avoid !!!!!!!!

Usually love their food but unfortunately lastest meal of chop suey, chow mein and chinese meatballs was bland, disappointed.

Pick-up order today and I'm really disappointed. I ordered black bean chicken and egg fried rice. The rice had shrimps inside for God knows what reason and I'm not sure if that was even chicken. What a disappointment!

Get yourself down to "China town" baby!! Well worth the journey down from my city of bath, visited China town tonight and what an amazing find 100% will be back for more delicious top rated food guaranteed, Well what can I say I've eaten more Chinese takeaway food than most Chinese people have I'm sure, and this place is up there in my top 3 of the best ive had, The lady on the front counter who greated us was just amazing, and the chef was more than happy to cater for my taste buds, My favourite dish is battered sweet n sour chicken balls with added salt n pepper seasoning my invention and trust me it's a winner, The chef did me proud and did not disappoint, PERFECT Hopfully it hits the menu for All to experience, Salt n pepper sweet n sour balls get on it.

Just eat told me the food had been delivered , when I called the shop it was still there . They were so lovely though and the food was piping hot !

Collected food. Had to wait extra 10 minutes but food was all hot, perfectly cooked. Nothing was greasy - which is a big plus. Will be returning.

The lady who answers the phone is always so friendly, helpful and makes me smile. It's a pleasure placing an order. The food is really good and they are honest with their delivery estimations. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

No taste on food, ribs dry no flavor. Shame to be honest for £35. Will never order again.

Great spot to pick up some Chinese food. No space to dine in, but chairs to sit and wait for food to be ready. Menu was extensive and the person at the counter was very sweet.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a good takeaway place and stumbled upon this amazing takeaway restaurant! The food was amazing and the prices were more than reasonable! The service was quick and the food was hot! We went to collect and the staff were welcoming and very chatty which was so lovely. The food and service was so good we ordered it twice in one week! We ordered 1/4 aromatic duck, seaweed, egg fried rice, chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken, it was all 10/10. Couldn’t recommend more!

Salt and pepper squid was 100% old and reheated so was hard as nails and dry, when I called up the person on the phone said they ‘saw the chef cooking it’ in my opinion that was probably the case but yesterday if I was lucky or cooking it meant reheating in a microwave. My partner has ordered multiple times from here and it’s usually been really good, but the way that I was spoken to, saying ‘well your not on the system as having ordered here before so that’s how it is. Horrible customer service

I asked for extra sugar, special fried rice is 10/10 and the set menu for 2 is so worth it compared to other Chinese’s, comes with 2 full pots, 1 satay sauce one sweet and sour and they’re delicious 😋 best Chinese! Will recommend to friends and family! Also came in like 15 minutes of me ordering and it was a big order! Well done china town 👏🏼

Fantastic food served quick, friendly staff and a clean shop.

Deliver was quicker than expected, the satay chicken was really good, the prawn dumplings were ok, the wan ton soup was flavourless, the crispy shredded beef ratio to rice was not good (on 1/5 of tub was shredded beef, photo on just eat shows a big portion), the prawn toast was overcooked and some of the seeds were black as they were burnt. The food was clean and not greasy, it is definitely overpriced for the quality based on my first experience. If you were to order, i would recommend the satay chicken skewers.

Best Chinese takeaway in Dorset

Our number one for Chinese takeaway. Food great standard however food was delivered very early and wasn't quite prepared for its arrival however food was cooked well and very enjoyable.

What a meal that was absolutely top-notch I couldn't fault it. China Town is the best Chinese takeaway I have experienced for a very long time. Each dish was superb. I'd recommend it to anyone. Looking forward to the next time. Thank you for the great service.

Asked for prawn balls with curry sauce=got beef balls with curry sauce Asked for beef chow main... got plain chow main no meat.....simple collection order they couldent get right or clearly couldent understand a simple order...the one star is for the one thing they did get right which was the curry sauce, used to be decent...shame

Service was quick and easy, and arrived in good time, sweet and sour chicken balls a tad over oily but still lovely, hot and crispy. Putting them in a bowl with kitchen roll helped. Rest of food was delicious. Thank you.

Appreciated the early delivery! I would have loved some cutlery because I was in a hotel with no cutlery at all. I only had a tea spoon that did the trick. Nonetheless, the food was amazing!

Best Chinese around! Chicken satays the so tasty… can’t fault delivery… we ordered the large spring rolls.. they were nice but the filling was just beansprouts which was disappointing

Don’t order the curry with rice, the menu doesn’t tell you that you get 2/3s of a tub of rice and 1/3 curry. Absolute stodge. Called them as food was inedible and they weren’t interested. Was good last time but I had orders separate curry and rice. Won’t use them or Just Eat again as they don’t give you al the menu information clearly. Really disappointing.

The food was delivered quickly which was an added bonus. We had chow mien and it was very nice. No complaints from us. Very good service and very good food.

Very disheartened and dissapointed. Been so go for ages however last two orders they have gotten incorrect. We order online as simple, but they need to read the added instructions especially if dietary requirements are requested. May be looking for alternative establishment that can accommodate a simple instruction.

Mixing rice and a dish chips and a dish make the dishes soggy. Chow main wasn’t very good. Crispy duck 🦆 should have been Soggy Duck. Through it in bin 🗑

Good food delivered nice and hot

We have food from you all the time but unfortunately the lamb curry was uneatable. The meat was tough and burnt

We have been long standing customers and mostly enjoy the food. The standard, however, has unfortunately dropped. Inconsistent flavours, stale prawn crackers and finally burnt rice. When I called to inform them, I was told to eat the food and get a free rice next time. When I explained that the food had been served together and was inedible, I was told to just eat the food. Their food is ok at best, but their customer service/care is extremely poor. We will never eat here again!

I ordered the Nasi Goreng, if Uncle Roger saw this he would be critical. It was spicy, which is correct. Fried egg, correct, over cooked not correct. Missing the spring onions, shallots, red chillies, chillie seeds and cucumber. Didn't need the green and yellow peppers, white onions and beef and dried chillie flakes. The dish was nice overall but I wasn't Nasi Goreng.

Food was nice and hot and delivered early

Food was delivered towards the end of the delivery window but was still on time so no issues there. Food was good too. Not the best Chinese I’ve ever had but definitely worth the price. I’d recommend. The £6 Delivery fee is Abit steep. Especially seeing as I’m not even 2 miles away.

This is our usual chinese but today the food was very oily. As my daughter ordered she did not notice the new delivery cost if £6, which is extortionately high.

China Town used to be our regular Chinese takeaway before we moved further away. Found out we can still get it delivered where we live now and the food is as good as ever.

The food is normally much better. I ordered the honey ribs which were dry and burnt with not much meat on the bone. The won tons were also dry and tasted burnt in places. The duck was nice as always and the spring rolls we’re ok. Wasn’t really worth the money overall.

The best Chinese I've had in age's. Really delicious and melt in the mouth lamb. Definitely order again.

Food was delivered late, after driver called because he couldn’t find my address.. when I explained where I was he sighed and just hung up.. the food was cold when it arrived.. very disappointed with this order.

1 word = Tragic , putting your sides in your main dish tub so you get more than 3/4 soggy chips (rip off), under cooked chicken balls and the beef ? Was it? I don't even know...

I ordered crispy noodle but by the time my food arrived, it had gone soggy because the crispy noodle had absorbed all the soup. 😭
