Just to say had an amazing private party for my best friends birthday - the food and cocktails were delicious!! Everyone had a great time - totally recommend here for a private venue party hire in Southbourne / Bournemouth area!

This is a fabulous place! Have been many times now. Great wine and sharing plates. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts who help to make the evening special. Did wine tasting, both the event, and individual wine tasting for the family and had a wonderful time. Can't recommend highly enough - although I don't want it to become too popular!

Our first time here and wow what an experience. We paired wine tasting with tapas and were blown away. We'll be coming back with friends very soon.

The most amazing selection of wines ive seen! Thank you to Mauro and team for a lovely evening guiding us through all the wines - Yummy locally sourced tapas too in a cosy friendly place -and they even do fab cocktails ~ thanks team!

Great for casual drinks or a fun evening out. We tried a fantastic range of wines, beers and ciders from the amazing sommelier accompanied with a lovely selection of meats and cheeses. Will definitely be heading back soon and taking the family.

Just passing..... and what an amazing find! They have a vast array of superb wines and the owners are very hospitable and professional, along with an exceptional knowledge of their wine menu, with some great recommendations. Add in some tasty tapas and you have a fabulous evening ahead! We highly recommend "Guasti - Nebbiolo d'Alba" - the most amazing tasting wine. Will certainly be returning for another visit.

We had a fabulous evening of wine and tapas. Everyone was so welcome and friendly. The tapas was fresh and delicious and the wine choices were amazing! I’d recommend this wine bar to all, nothing is too much trouble. Thanks guys we will be back again soon!!

We had an amazing evening at SOBO: Sommelier, we were greeted with a friendly and warm welcome and offered a complimentary glass of Mulled Wine when shown to our table. Couple of us aren’t keen on Mulled Wine but had to admit it was the nicest one we’d ever tasted so they went down quite easily. The sharing platters were of good quality and plentiful, everything tasted fresh and of high quality. The wine list was awesome and it was so nice to be able to have a tasting sample before ordering a bottle. Overall, fantastic atmosphere and perfect place to go for a pleasant evening with friends to spend a few hours socialising rather than a rushed 3 course meal where you can hardly relax and converse with your friends. Planning to go again soon.

We had a fabulous evening which started with a warm and friendly welcome in a relaxed atmosphere. Appreciated the wine recommendations, which turned out to be superb and went well with out cheese platter, charcuterie board along with several tapas dishes. All these were delicious and there was more than enough for 4 of us. Sobo Sommelier offers more than other local wine bars as the personal service and expert wine advice/recommendations is second to none. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to return. Well done!

Visiting in the area, stopped there for sampling various wines, which all were perfectly picked by the resident expert Sommelier, Mauro, and attentive service from Trina, the GM, nice high quality tapas to go with the fine wines. Will comeback on my next trip soon.

To Jacuzzi post when do you refer averages wine! . Maybe Chateau D’ Arlay which is unic blend in the world and only 34 bottles in UK places at Sobo:Sommelier… or Maybe Barolo 1974 or Barcarato 1998 or maybe Reserve de la Contesse2015 Pulliac …. Such a lovely atmosphere. The staff are absolutely brilliant, they suggested wines and their suggestion was perfect for our choice of prawns,chicken with chorizo and a platter of cheese. A perfect night out for friends to catch up ,and a romantic date! Thank you Cannot wait for thecwine tasting evenings

The selection of very average wines was way overpriced as was the food. Could have eaten a “proper” meal plus decent wine elsewhere (like next door) for what we paid.

Went for the wine tasting....a great selection of wines paired with some good tapas choices made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Our host was knowledgeable and engaging. Would heartily recommend and looking forward to sampling one of their Jazz evenings.

Revisited Sobo:Sommelier and still 100% the best Wine Bar in Southbourne and Bournemouth. Some new additions to the menu and a few Bargains on Thursdays. A full Sunday Jazz lineup for summer. Visited with friends in the first few days of Sobo Sommelier opening. This is a new addition to the busy & boujie metropolis of Southbourne & I believe owned by the proprietor’s of SoBo Fish (conveniently next door) Luckily we had booked a table as it very soon filled up. A lovely warm greeting from one of the front of house team who explained food options etc to us. A very enthusiastic & knowledgeable Mauro looked after us throughout the evening. We shared a selection of their platters & small plate options which were all superb. As for the wines we went with many of Mauro’s recommendations & finished with an excellent bottle of red. Not a cheap evening, but we did splash out on some of the wine options.

We had a fantastic evening at Sobo Sommelier, delicious food and excellent wine. The gentleman that served us had incredible wine knowledge and his recommendations were spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back!
