M's Bakery ltd in Bournemouth

Unfortunately we don’t think this place is worth the money. £16 for a Hungarian beigli but overfilled with walnut to the point it looks unappetising. Taste was good but not for the money they are charging.

I recently purchased a poppy seed cake (makowiec) from this bakery, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious! As someone from Poland, where makowiec is a traditional holiday dessert, I can confidently say this was the best I’ve ever tasted. The perfect balance of sweetness and moist texture made it truly exceptional. I’ve been a loyal customer for a while, and their other baked goods are equally amazing. I especially appreciate their sourdough bread, which is always fresh and full of flavor, and their sweet pastries that never fail to impress. If you’re looking for the perfect makowiec for the holidays—or just a delightful treat—I wholeheartedly recommend this bakery. They truly know how to deliver quality and taste!

Can always be quite busy in there but they are always so friendly - they don't usually have vegan food ready to sell but I've just ordered it for the next day and that has been brilliant. Always fresh and local.

I had an exceptional experience at this bakery! The quality of the bread is truly amazing, with a noticeable difference in the taste and texture, thanks to the premium source of the dough. The chocolate swirl, in particular, took me straight back to my childhood—it’s that good! The prices reflect the quality and the care put into sourcing the best ingredients. I’ve seen some comments comparing the cost to mass-produced items from places like Lidl, but that’s completely unfair. Cheap, unhealthy ingredients used in bulk production simply can’t compare to the artistry and wholesomeness this bakery offers. On top of the fantastic products, the service is outstanding. Despite always being busy, the staff are friendly, helpful, and take the time to make each customer feel welcome. This bakery is a gem for anyone who appreciates great quality and authentic flavors. Highly recommended!

Found M’s by chance & am so glad we did! Great place, great food, great staff & great choice of music playing quietly :) Food did not disappoint we both had BLT which came with a side salad, very tasty, bread was lush, filling was plentiful and absolutely no chance of eating it all (can take what you can’t eat home with you)! Felt bad as we were sat by the door & didn’t want people to think we didn’t enjoy the food by what was left on our plates. Atmosphere was calm, friendly & very welcoming - can’t recommend M’s highly enough.

Absolutely fabulous. Delicious fresh range of yummy-ness! Especially recommended are the tiny cheese scones Great coffee and super start to the day sitting in the sun with their gorgeous croissants and coffee.

Went to the Christchurch branch for afternoon tea with a friend. Food was amazing and the staff very attentive. You can choose which cake you have, we choose the chocolate & raspberry, selection of jams & teas. The cheese scone was a delight.

Unfortunately the vegan options of bakery are very limited and not tasty at all. I ate vegan pains au chocolat in Manchester’s bakery and it was delicious, so the vegan bakery could be great

M's Bakery in Saxin Square Christchurch is exceptional. Every time we visit the staff are friendly and inviting. The range of snacks, pastries etc is extensive. The food is superb, I would certainly recommend The Eggs Benedict with either, mushroom, bacon or smoked salmon. A quality bakery, with Quality staff and quality products.

The bread and croissants at this bakery is amazing, well worth the asking price, the atmosphere is great, however some of the staff acts like they seen a ghost or something when they serve you, otherwise is great all the way. Thanks for such amazing sourdough bread.

Fantastic friendly happy staff that make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door, every time you visit. Great food, drinks and service. Very well recommended and an amazing large selection of fresh baked goods, that makes you want to eat everything.

By far the best bakery I've ever been to.

Just bought a couple of sausage rolls from this place, one standard and one chilli. Now I like a good sausage roll and the standard one was one of the best I’ve eaten - especially after a few minutes warming up in the air fryer I’m now fighting the urge to eat the chilli one straight away even though I’m not hungry

After reading the book about processed food and how bad the bread is in the supermarket even the stuff called sourdough - I am going to buy bread exclusively here! It’s always tasty and sometimes even warm! The book said that there is only 5% of places in the whole uk where we can buy “real” bread therefore it’s more important than ever to make sure that we don’t loose places like this bakery! The picture is of our favourite cakes that they do! Bread stays good for ages too! When it goes a bit hard we put slices with butter into a grill machine for amazing toast! Update: we tried bread from riverford, le petit prince and others and none compare to this place! So much so that I have their phone number saved in my phone to speed up the weekly calls to reserve the bread that gets sold out fast!

A must visit if you are in Bournemouth, but you need to be there before 8:00am if you want to guarantee the full choice of their freshly baked products. You will not be dissappointed with the quality of their products.

One beetroot and goats cheese quiche with a side salad for my husband. I had the homemade mushroom soup with two slices of sour dough. It was absolutely amazing. The staff were very friendly and highly professional.

Had the best banana bread ever yesterday, so had to go back for another one today. Unfortunately they had sold out, so I tried the bread pudding and OMG!!! So delicious, you need to try it out. Can't wait to come back to Bournemouth and visit this lovely bakery again. I also had a leeks and goat cheese quiche which was so good!!

So my original post several years ago was not that favourable; I thought they were overpriced for so-so produce. How wrong could I have been.... Thankfully on talking with my boss one day, he couldn't believe my opinion, so decided to treat the team to pastries from M's. My waist will never forgive him for that but my taste buds LOVE him! I can only assume we had caught them on an off day previously as I now visit weekly and the pastries are always incredible. We always buy when we are having visitors pop by for a cuppa and everyone comments how good they are. You do HAVE TO order in advance, if you want yummy goods on a Saturday or else you will be left disappointed when you arrive to find they have sold out. This used to happen regularly to me so now I have a standing order!! All the ladies who work there are absolutely lovely and welcome you with a happy greeting and a smile without fail. We are exceptionally lucky to have them on our doorstep. Warning: do not try if you are trying to lose weight, you will become addicted and the weight loss will go out of the window. Your happiness will increase though, whilst eating at least!

I found M's by chance. How lucky I was. Until now I have travelled all the way to Sailsbury to buy my bread. No longer! M's is magnificent. I bought an almond croissant, a quiche and a baton today. I have never tasted better anywhere in the UK. In fact, the quiche was the best I have eaten in my entire life....and I have visited France over 50 times!

Nice products but overpriced if u want to visit regularly + no loaf slicing, which is a bit disappointing when it's nearly £5 for a loaf :/

Fantastic pastries and coffee. No inside seating.

The bread and cakes are very good quality! Prices are high but are according to the quality they serve and I would rather have good quality than cheap things I can get from any other place like a supermarket. We are always excited to go and wish we had one closer to us but we are happy to make the journey as it’s worth it!

For small independent bakery this blew my mind. The customer service is fantastic, the products That the bakery sell are just on another level. I purchased sourdough bread, a piece of carrot cake and also a large cappuccino type muffin which was just extraordinary the taste and quality and nothing that I’ve had before. I actually went over there to pick up one of the bakeries signature square croissants, which, unfortunately, due to their popularity, had Gone, one of the employees gave me one that was left over that hadn’t sold and I was not disappointed, which I was extremely Grateful for. Thank you, Ms Bakery for a truly magnificent bakery experience. I cannot highly recommend this place enough. If you get the opportunity please visit as you will not be disappointed. Thank you again

All very delicious all freshly baked, the staff are great too always polite and friendly. This is the place I visit on my days off as a treat. At £3.50 for a pain au chocolate a price that is more expensive than the champs elysees but unfortunately lacking the finesse. Dissapointed

I had popped in given I'd heard nice things about this place. I ordered a hazelnut latte & almond Croissant which is my favourite in most places. I have to say the crossant wasn't great, it oddly tasted slightly eggy which put me off finishing it. The latte was lovely although I thought their regular sizes were quite small. For £7+ I thought overall its pretty steep. I would reccomend still as their cakes looked delicious and it is generally always busy in there.

Can you relay on opening times?

The best bakery ever! They even have vegan sweetsavailable as well. I have had gluten intolerance but with the sourdough bread I can enjoy again the bread again! Definitely recommended.

This place is producing some seriously good sour dough bread. This bread reminds me of my childhood life.

I have been waiting to try this place for so long ! The staff are lovely and the bakery itself is so sweet. It’s a real experience going for coffee and a bun. However my almond croissant was quite stale and a bit underwhelming. Their displays looked amazing and I can’t wait to come back and try one of their fascinating other products so I can give them 5 stars !

The Pistachio cream stuffed cruffins are absolutely amazing 🤩 Stopped in for a coffee and sandwich that were also delicious and took 2 cruffins to go. They did not disappoint. Hope be back some day. Visiting here from America. Definitely recommend!

Their bread is excellent. Well worth a trip here. I'm going to try some of their other things now. The cakes do look so good too. Just bought and ate the best croissant I've ever had in this country.

Almond croissant I got 2 days ago did not feel fresh at all.. pricing feels unreasonably high. Edit: Instead of acting "smart" to run away from criticism, you should try to improve based on feedback. Of course I ate it on the spot, I was trying to tell that the experience was from two days ago.

Lucky enough to pop in early when they opened with that fantastic freshly baked smell still in the air. The bread is fresh and tastes amazing, the pastries are as big as they are tasty, and the people are friendly. Really great bakery!

Super friendly staff always smiling! It's really hard to choose my favourite item because everything is so good! Recent favourites have been the banana muffin (gluten free) and the pain suisse. The breads are delicious too, especially foccacia! I'm waiting and hoping one day they will do a cardamom bun

Freshly baked every morning,their cinnamon buns,pistachios croissants, sour dough bread, and cruffins are all yummy ,their open at 7:00, which is perfect time to go to after a long hours night shift, I highly recommended to give it a try and you will not be disappointed 🙂

What can I say but 'WOW'! I finally popped in after passing every day and I have to admit, the best almond croissant I have ever tasted...crisp, and more than enough almond filling! I'll definitely be back!

I was at Boscombe beach and wanted a quality local bakery to get some goodies. M's was well reviewed and photos looked great so I took a walk to try them out. They didn't disappoint! The white sourdough loaf was the best I have ever tasted and the chicken and bacon baguette really hit the spot. I'm often visiting so will be back very soon. Highly recommended.

No one's come across their rip-off prices for croissants? Didn't realise until a week later that I spent circa £8.50 at this place for two croissants and a large latte. Lidl charge 45p per croissant (down the road) which taste better. As for their coffee it was average. There are much nicer coffee shops just down the road... I just wish it made sense to charge that amount for croissants which taste worse than Lidl's croissants (I know it's subjective).

When visiting M's Bakery I was really impressed with their amazing vegan pan au chocolate. However, I was disappointed to see that there weren't more vegan options available. If you're a fan of baked goods and/or vegan treats, M's Bakery is definitely worth a visit.

M's Bakery is one of the best bakeries I have been to in a while. The croissants are perfection! The quiche is delicious! The tarts are amazing! ...the bread? Amazing!

Best patisserie around, haven't found another one like it anywhere around town. Also I hear it's won lots of awards for its bread and makes sense because it's delicious. We try and have a treat, normally their cruffin's whilst we watch bake off and try to act like we're the professionals who made it but we know we never could. I rave about this place to everyone.

Desserts are just big disappointment. Taste artificially and without actual taste of anything.
