The best restaurants in Bath and North East Somerset South West

So friendly and happy and happy to help. One of the servers were so sweet, being disabled, she actually ran to grab the heavy door so I didn't struggle. The food is always delicious and they are great to make sure if there has to be a substitute (ie: olives or spinach) then they don't pressure timewise so if doing a takeaway order then it's not a problem to phone home lol!

Stopped for lunch. Very pleasant garden, dog friendly and food was very good. A slight misunderstanding over a pastrami sandwich was promptly and pleasantly resolved! Thank you, we will come again.

Burger still tastes good but have gotten smaller and are very expensive. Update: hanging up on customers on a Friday night, I'm guessing understaffed or maybe just don't care, I'm honestly surprised this business has survived so long.

Lovely service and unique cool atmosphere! such a variety of cocktails in a funky menu. Would defo go back!

We had the best evening last night (but we always do every time we visit). The staff are always so welcoming and attentive. They make your dining experience relaxed and so enjoyable. The food is just divine and the atmosphere is just such a lovely cool ambient vibe.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about Brunel. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. We had a great time and would go back if we ever came back to Bath.

Closed down? Walked down the highstreet and couldn't find it. We think we found where it used to be due to colour matching, but the sign had gone and it was empty.

By far the best fish and chips in Bath. Always top quality and fairly priced compared to its competitors.

La comida era absolutamente encantadora, lo que en parte compensó el terrible servicio. No está claro si todavía podíamos tomar el brunch o tenía que pedir el menú del almuerzo, tenía una camarera que tomó una orden de bebidas y luego nunca volvió a tomar una orden de comida. Después de media hora entramos a preguntar qué comida podíamos comer y finalmente hicimos una orden de almuerzo, solo para que nos dijeran que veníamos a ti (no estoy seguro de que lo estuvieran) dije que habíamos estado esperando y me dijeron que así es como es, sin disculpas. Tenía comida muy agradable, simplemente no vayas en un día donde obviamente no pueden manejar el servicio ocupado. He dirigido y entrenado a gente en la industria de la hospitalidad y esto fue muy pobre.

Lovely fish and chips, though the batter can be quite thick. Really tasty Chinese meals and have tried plenty with no major complaints just not the healthiest choice but irresistible just the same. Always friendly service and the parking is right outside or just along the road or in the petrol station. Don't forget its cash only !!! Nearest cash point if garage not open is Farrington Gurney Texaco garage.

Extremely disappointing experience this morning. Staff were completely indifferent to the quality of food and service. Cold, dry breakfast sandwich (defrosted bread, no butter, overcooked egg, dry, cold plates). Lunch options look better as they appear to be bought in. Staff didn't ask for feedback and ignored us once food was delivered. Gluten free option was ok, but still arrived cold and when ordering I felt like I was being fussy for being coeliac.

The branch in Frome was great so we were quite sad it had closed. When I saw there was one in Bath I decided to visit but wish I hadn’t bothered. The server went outside to give a coffee to another customer fair enough but then came back in moaning about how rude the customers were with me stood right there, until coming up to me and then went “…yes?” Also? when I placed my order he didn’t say please or Thankyou, just gestured towards the card machine. I had a pram and whilst I understand it’s my responsibility to open and close the door, to have someone stand there blankly looking in your direction whilst you try and navigate the door doesn’t really inspire much confidence in customer service, of which there was generally very little. I thought the broth bowl would be either the same or very similar to the one in Frome as the menu was the same but I found the vegetables undercooked and the flavour was bland. Won’t be returning.
