The restaurant is pretty and the employers are very nice. It was all good but I couldn't finish my d'interesse because I was full and happy

We were blessed with wonderful weather, just as we had planned to dine outdoors. The atmosphere was delightful, The food was exceptional, wonderfully fresh, and seasoned to perfection. The service was the kind that makes you feel truly special: personalized and attentive. Staff were incredibly polite, engaging, and full of good humor. We will surely come back.

I feel insulted and embarrassed after organising a family meal here. I'm left questioning any positive reviews. Red flags were raised when we arrived - a sticky floor and toilets akin to public facilities - filthy and fishy. The food caused an initial awkward silence with 5 out of 8 family members that ordered tomato based dishes drawing the same conclusion - they were made with a base of Heinz tomato soup. Completely unacceptable and totally insulting. On top of this the meat quality was off putting. None of the dishes were anything like what you'd expect to find in a standard Indian restaurant. The naan breads were the only thing that came as expected and we ordered more to fill us up. This is a classic "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" contender. They need to get out and speak face to face to customers, read their 'genuine' reviews and invest in their customers, food and facilities or there is only one place they will end up. Closed.

The restaurant is spacious and the service was excellent our waiter Prasham was very friendly and eager to help , and well the starters were superb and the mains we had were on a different level, we have been disappointed lately in Indian cuisine as the restaurants have been poor and the service seemed to be to be to get you out quickly! There was none of this , top Marks all round and we will definitely be back

Fantastic meal, good service, probably the best onion bhajis I have ever tasted, would highly recommend a visit. The staff couldn't have been more attentive

Oh my god. The goat curry is a thing of absolute beauty. The best in Bath by far. Traditional, authentic, proper Indian. The service is great and they deserve the best Indian in Bath award (and we have tried them all loads of times)!!

This is a smart, clean and comfortable place for a special meal. The restaurant manager was very helpful when we went in to make our booking and attended to us when we arrived. He was very good at explaining the differences between some of the dishes that we couldn’t decide between. The waiters were attentive and professional. The food was delicious and well made.

The goat curry was fantastic. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Bath. I would have rated it 5 but the starters are disproportionately expensive

My wife and I were made very welcome by the friendly staff. The atmosphere was great. The food was so tasty and just enough portions. The wine list was very good and prices were reasonable. We are definitely going back next time we visit Bath and have already recommended it to our friends.

My husband and I arrived in Bath late afternoon- his first visit and my third after 35 years. We had pre-booked another restaurant but after walking past The Sepoy Club, we later cancelled our prior reservation and managed to get a table at this absolutely brilliant Indian restaurant. I love really good vegetarian Indian food and this is the best I’ve ever had. How they manage to make chickpeas the best food I have ever had is quite an art form! The garlic naan is a just devine! I could go on, as could my seriously meat eating husband. My husband had the Blue Moon ale for the first time and loved it. I had the Sauvignon Blanc which was deliciously dry with no acidic aftertaste. The service was impeccable - perfect balance between attentiveness and not being overbearing. The restaurant feels immaculately clean and the staff are dressed so smartly. My only complaint? The restaurant isn’t in London and at the end of my road!

Staff friendly, however service wait was terrible. Food was not great, personally wouldn’t go again!

As local residents we had been waiting to visit since it opened. Finally took the plunge and a dreadful evening. Week before Xmas, restaurant half empty, people walking out shortly after being seated - should have been sufficient warning to head for the exit ourselves. Main issues:- - having to chase and remind for drinks - over priced food and very bland - starters chicken dish at £13 for a few chicken pieces - curry poor taste - no sides available - asked for recommendations and was told to read the menu - soulless atmosphere To add insult, son who is celiac was reassured no gluten but clearly not the case, he had an awful night and was very unwell. We emailed the restaurant the next day asking for ingredient list but no reply, just ignored. Spoke with manager on way out, completely disinterested. Meal for three cost £130 and soda and lime a handsome. £3.95. Do not be fooled by the glamours appearance.

We were a large group booking and i have to say i think they coped well. Food was quick and service was organized. Food itself was more than acceptable. It lacks a bit of ambience as it’s a large restaurant and was only half full.

This is the worst service we have ever recieved in a restaurant. We arrived 5 minutes before our booking, but were ignored for 15 minutes, as it was not easy to get anyones attention. When we were finally shown to our table, we were sat in a busy area, where customers would stand, waiting for their tables - a couple of times, my husband was bumped by people. The table was near a fire exit, and as it was a cold night, there was a terrible draught all the time. Our hands were freezing, which is ludicrous when you're sitting inside, and we had to end up wrapping our coats around us to try to keep warm! We waited for over 25 minutes before anyone came to take our order - other tables who had arrived after us were seen to before us. We asked for tap water - this never arrived. I ordered a cold peroni - when it arrived I was told it was warm, as they had no cold ones. So I asked for half a Cobra, as I wanted a cold beer, but they said they only did pints! When the food did finally arrive, although it was very tasty, it was served on cold plates, so therefore cooled down very quicky, especially as it was so cold at the table as well. All of these points we raised with the staff at the time, but they made no attempt to move us to another table. they then charged us for drinks we didn't want, but did at least remove the cost of these from the bill after we complained about that. We will NOT be returning.

This is a new and beautifully appointed Indian restaurant. We had the platters and found them full of flavour and innovative. The wine was good too. We shall definitely go back and recommend it for a peaceful and tasty experience in Bath.
