Waited in line for ages considering there's was only one person in front. Ordered my pasty. "They are toom temperature and we wont repeat them. Is that OK?" No, it's not ok. Is a hot or even warm pasty too much to ask for?

My favourite coffee/bakery to go to in Bath! Summer and Kim were wonderful servers, made my experience so comfortable and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back again!

Nice food not too pricey but refused cash and was told no toilets which I'm pretty sure is illegal in a place that serves food

We arrived early before they fully stocked the display cases (before the Roman Baths opened). Woman at the counter seemed to assume we knew what everything on display was, and that we should have known what wasn't on display wasn't available for order yet, and was a little put off as we tried to order. Sorry, we're tourists and it was our first time in your town and your country, we didn't know we had to be experts at your menu! The almond cherry croissant and iced latte were tasty, but the staff need a bit of customer service coaching.

Many claim to be Cornish, this bakery is as authentic as it gets. I was recommended this bakery for lunch a month ago and now I come here almost every day. The team are amazing. A massive shout out to Kim and Summer, I'm actually hopeless when choosing a drink. Sometimes they ask questions to cater the beverage, other times they make me something random, I'm never disappointed! They do such a great job, are always super friendly and keep their cool when it's busy. They sell a naughty ham roll, which should be renamed 'The Badboi'. It's my favourite and I'm slightly addicted.

After trying the Burton-on-the-water location, I wanted to try the fruit scone here again and it was truly delicious! This bakery makes the best scones I've ever eaten. Fast service, friendly staff and plenty of outside seating. A great place to have breakfast before visiting the spa

Excellent hidden gem for a low cost hot and cold food and drinks with seating inside and outside. Great to sit outside and listen to the rotating street entertainers. A must visit place if visiting for the day but please tip the entertainers if you listen. A £1 is sufficient. Would recommend.

You can't get any bad pastry here. Everything is delicious. Lovely shop!

Such a delicious bakery! Had an incredible Italian hot chocolate and we gobbled up the sausage roll and carrot cake. Beautiful scenery outside, perfect spot in Bath for a rest and snack.

We found this place because you could smell the pasties from the street. The traditional pasty was so reminiscent of the ones I had as a child in the US that I haven’t had in years! We ended up buying more to take home for dinner. One of the best meals I’ve had on this trip!

Ate 1 chicken n leek pastry - wow a real filler for 4.5 gbp - recommend u have it before ur Walking tour instead of eating at a restaurant - soft stuffing- crunchy exterior- super tasty

Simply amazing coffee place at the City Centre. A great spot located opposite The Roman Bath. Coffee is superb! They also offer pasty and bakery. A must try!

The Cornish to take and walk about with is excellent. They are like a thick soup in a crunch dough.

Waited ages to be served then after leaving noticed they got our order wrong. Tried to go back and get it put right but the queue was to long and got ignored when trying to get servers attention. Coffee was even full only half cup Would not go again.

Had some quick brunch here on our trip to Bath. The Cornish pasties were delicious and freshly baked and so was the coffee. The location is very convenient just next to the Roman bath and the Pump room. They have both inside and outside sitting.

Food is tasty but there are No toilets and no covers for the take away cups that are burning your hands!! No privacy for conversations

Wait staff were a bit impatient but pasty was so delicious. Got beef and potato, would get again. Was quite big so reccommend sharing

No toilets! Sell their drinks and food, allow sitting indoors and out, but we had to search for toilets elsewhere.

The Cornish Bakery were kind enough to provide 70 pasties for our wedding and they were amazing! The staff were really kind and helpful through the whole ordering process and friendly and wonderful on the day. The guests abosolutely loved them as did we and they certainly helped to make the day fantastic. Thank you!

This is my favorite cornish pasty place. Everytime we come to bath I have to visit, lovely pasty. coffee and service. They also sale frozen so you can take home with you. Their boxes keep the pasty frozen for 4 hours if you traveling far. So if you visit Bath you need to visit this place. Oh and they make fresh batches all day so you are always eating fresh.

Enticing front window display tempted us in. Friendly staff member, but the pasties were just ok. Cornish pasty wasn't too bad, but the cauliflower vegan one was a touch too sweet in the filling. Pastry could have been better in both.

I just went there today with some friends. The staff were really rude and unpleasant. The pastries were good, but the service was so bad that it's not worth the money and the trouble.

Cute shop in a prime location. It's name, google rating and shop-window pastries may fool you into thinking their cornish pasties are worthwhile but I found out otherwise. Extremely dry and rather bland, hopefully the photo does it justice.

Excellent steak pasty very reasonably priced. My first time eating it and I loved it. It was hot, fresh, and very well filled. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Went in yesterday for some coffee and pasties. Summer and Ffion had amazing customer service and made some amazing coffees :) would highly recommend this place

I can't say enough about this place, food out of this world and the service was next level. Ellie and Summer were extremely kind and helpful, would definitely recommend a visit.

Flat white was good. However, food is mediocre. I ordered the Mediterranean vegetable tortilla. When I asked the staff member if it’s hot, she said yes. It was cold. I had to ask them to warm it up! Tasted awful still. Salad had no dressing. They forgot to bring the flat white and the tea we paid for. Cornish pastries were not that good either, with too much potato filling in the large traditional pasty.

We popped in at the end of the day, so we got an absolute bargain on everything we brought. Everything was delicious. Vegan raspberry croissant, pain au chocolat, scones. It is absolutely worth a visit, and if you sit outside, you get a beautiful view of Bath Abbey. The staff here are lovely, polite, and helpful. A+

Great atmosphere!! We visited here while waiting for Roman bath. Lovely scone and chai latte. Staff was kind and helpful. I like the interior and artwork on the wall as well. They were just pretty!!!

I have eaten almost every cake and many of the savoury options from this Cornish bakery and each one was incredibly good. For me it’s all about their cakes, with a cup of tea or on their own they are just great. Lovely staff and location too.

We found the bakery nice so decided to enter. The guy attending costumers acknowledged our presence (a party of 4) but continued re-stocking the fridge with water bottles. When he finished doing it, instead of taking our request, passed on to the juices. After 4 mins waiting we decided to leave and spend our hard-earned money in another shop.

Food was very good me and my fella came here the lady served us was lovely we went outside in the hot weather boiling hot that day on thursday last week we sat on a chair and table then mins later got asked to move by a male dont know who he was but he had a uniform on and said to us no you cant sit here there was no where else to sit down i ended up having to stand up and left half my tea and cake my boyfriend who was severely disabled did not enjoy the atmosphere he can not stand long because he falls he has arthritis in both legs and can fall over the lady who was sat on the table said here love have this chair she also saw the large male come towards us asking us to move it didnt happen just the once but twice. He was large male with brown hair no idea where he came from or where he worked if he did work in local cafes he never said just asked us both to move it was very rude very sudden and very abrupt. He could see we had cake we just brought from this cafe and drinks there was no where else to sit it spolit our lunch out. Food was lovely it was just that male asking us to move that spolit it

Nice little find tucked in near the roman baths, was served by Kim the other day who was lovely and helpful in recommending me a pasty(Bacon, leek and cheese) as i was spoilt for choice. If you visit Bath its ideal as place for lunch on the go

I couldn’t fault the food or coffee, and the atmosphere was only brought down by the attitude of the female waitress. (She was not English) When I brought to her attention that I was waiting to place my order. She bluntly told me I was standing in the wrong place and that I was to stand in front of the pastry display cabinet not the till. I had waited behind three people who had already ordered so I had made my decision on what I wanted. Then when my husband asked for sugar when she brought the coffees to the table (Which was inside) she told him he had to get up and get it himself as it was self serve. He was wedged in the corner seat. No doubt it was my initial fault for not picking it up before I sat down. To make matters even worse the group of young ladies sitting at the next table who heard and saw what happened apologised and said she hoped it didn’t ruin the experience for everywhere else. The young lady who served us should not be in the service industry. Approx midday 27th June

Amazing bakery with very kind staff. We shared the three different vegetarian options which were all so good. The onion bhaji one was particularly great!! Also had nice coffee and sweet pastries.

Wonderful food and great coffee. The staff were awesome, particularly Kim who was friendly and helpful and took my order quickly. I will certainly be coming back the next time I'm in Bath.

Great Cornish Pasties and awesome service from Summer who is a lot of fun and full of energy. The bakery is a perfect place to sit and have a coffee and food after your tour of the Roman Baths. I also had a great Chai latte. The Cornish pudding was also yummy.

Good food, 5 pounds for a large traditional Cornish. If you walk a street or two, you’ll find a much cheaper place tho. Overall, solid.

Visited it at 5 pm, there was a bakery sale! Could get great pies and buns for half price. Catch the right time!

Traditional pasty was very good. Steak and Stilton was very strong on the palate. Service was lacking. One waitress came over and moved our table in the midst of eating literally with some food falling on the table and then proceeded rudely to say I did ask which she did but she didn’t wait for a reply. Just this service spoilt our pleasure with our lunch. Could do better!

Good steak pasty, just like an empanada!

We stopped in close to closing time so we quickly ordered our food to go. We got vegan pasties and they were soooo good! It was our first time having a pasty and I definitely want to try more! If I'm every back in Bath I will stop in here for a quick lunch.

Great coffee, warm atmosphere and the barista Kim was friendly and chatty. I even went up for a second to take away. I recommend a caramel mocha.

In my life I have only loved 3 things. Two of those things are from this place. A warm farmhouse sausage roll followed by a slice of artery clogging Cornish Pudding is about as good a meal as this fair isle offers. It always smells great and the staff are super friendly. They also smell great...I've heard. Big fan. Keep up the good work.

Original Cornish pastie was full of veggies with little meat to be seen, had sausage roll which was cold and they were not able to heat it( no microwave?) and tested very fatty left most of it. My decaffeinated coffee was in a tiny cup and barely 2/3 full, my wife’s tea was in a small teapot but when she asked (for the third time) for a jug of hot water she got a very small milk jug filled with hot water. Totally unacceptable quality and so pour especially so close to two of the best attractions in the city. Young couple who only seamed interested in making money from the tourists without giving the required product quality. Wasn’t even asked if everything was okay when we left, that’s why I decided to write a revue, something I don’t normally do.

The most loveliest service today when being served a delicious white hot chocolate. Friendly and lovely team in the Bath store.

Visited on 18th Nov, 2022 while visiting Bath Spa. This Lovely Cafe is just opposite entrance of Bath venue, has a great choice of cakes & pasties. They have a few vegan items too, if you are vegan. I had cauliflower pasty (vegan) & it's delicious. Definitely has Indian recipe in it. Coffee is good. I wish I had time to try some cakes & sweets too. Highly recommended.

I really love the ambience of this place. Really good vegan options and delicious pasties. Situated in heart of Bath city centre with inviting decor! Delicious looking vegan crossiant! Seating inside and outside. Lots of drink options too.

Traditional pasty, not as good as Cornish bake house. Lacked sauce, too much vegetable, not enough steak

Great atmospheric location with a brilliant view of Bath Abbey. We ate outside at one of their tables. Ideal place to do some people watching. The pasties were excellent. There was a nearby busker playing guitar, who was also really good.

Great sausage roll, great pasty! Hopped in at lunch time to grab a traditional pasty and a sausage roll and the are really good! The pastry is nice and crumbly, the filling is generous and composed of oignon taste of oignon, the potato tastes of potato , the meat is nice and juicy and to top it all off, the black pepper was nice and present! Personally I didn’t notice any swede in mine, maybe I missed it! Either way, it’s really good and mises that little “je ne sais quoi” to make it a 5/5!

We stopped in - famished - during a bus tour to Bath. The employee working that afternoon was very helpful and the meat pies were delicious. However, the reason I wish I could give 10 stars is for the almond and raspberry croissant, which was perhaps the most tasty thing my family had on our whole trip to England.

Shocking Lack of customer service! My wife and 7 month old baby were in Bath for a few days mini break. We'd been to visit the Roman Baths and stumbled across the Cornish Bakery. Bath which looked nice and inviting from the outside. As we were negotiating our babies buggy up the two steps into the cafe a member of staff pushed past us without any excuse me or offer to assist. Once inside we spoke to a male colleague and requested a piece of cake to share and two Italian hot chocolates. The same guy that had pushed past us on tej way barked from behind the coffee machine to his colleague "No Italian Hot Chocolate!" I said to the man serving us "who's that?". "He's the Manager" came the embarrassed response. We got regular hot chocolate and then sat down to read about the warm welcome you can expect from all Cornish Bakerys. This Manager isn't even getting the basics right so it's a long way off what I'm sure the owners envisage fas an ambassador for their brand. Show less

Bad customer service and very expensive

We chose The leek and cheese pasty and the steak and stilton pasty. They were delicious and the service was friendly. I want to take a dozen pasties home to Canada with me. Cathy
