Amazing service, delicious food and safe for coeliacs! They cater well to many dietary restrictions and intolerances, will definitely be going back.

- We had to wait more than 1 hour to get seated (no table for 2 available?) + The food was 7 out of 10, not too bad for an Indian restuarant in a village. - The service wanted to charge us twice for drinks. + The manager was customer friendly and very hard working (he even cleaned the tables himself and did that better than most waiters I've seen in the UK). - Atmosphere: only 2 points (too loud, no music, no chance to have a decent conversation)

Really impressed with the vegan menu here! It was fab to be able to sample dishes I've never been able to eat – I had the fake chicken tikka masala and it was mouth-wateringly good. Also, I digested it well which isn't always the case with Indian food. The owner was super friendly and chatty, and seemed really accommodating for vegans. My (also vegan) friend had a dish which he set on fire with booze, which was fun! One tiny thing was that it was a little loud in there, but I guess that's what happens when a restaurant is popular so it's not really a complaint. I'll definitely be back to try out more of the plant-based stuff.

My body rejected whatever they gave me. Never experienced a feeling like it. Was ill within an hour of eating the curry which continued for 24hrs.... took 48hrs for body to recover. Maybe unlucky with some food poisoning or something but I couldn't risk it again. Didn't even enjoy the food as it was totally different to previous experience when ordering the same dish. Again, possibly a one off thing but just a warning to people if they have something important to do the following day! 😄😭

Had no issues delivering to local campsite. High delivery charge! Food very nice. No grissle in the meat and prawns very tender. Would use again.

This is our favourite Indian restaurant, the food is excellent, the service is fast and efficient, nothing is too much trouble and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The home delivery service is wonderful too.

I ordered a takeaway yesterday evening to be delivered at 7.30pm. By 8pm there was no sign of it so I called to ask what was happening and was told 'it was on its way'. After another 15 minutes of waiting it finally arrived 45+ minutes late and with no apology. The delivery driver wouldn't accept a reduction in price for it being extremely late (and probably cold) so I sent him away. If I wanted to eat at 8.30pm I would have ordered my takeaway for that time! I called Cinnamon to let them know I'd sent the takeaway back and was told I would receive a call back from the manager. (It's the next day and I still haven't received a call back!). I ended up cooking a frozen pizza in the oven which took 10 minutes. I should have just done that in the first place and saved myself the hassle. Extremely disappointed.

Some of the best vegan food you can find - a whole menu with more options than we could ever try. Everything we have tried has been amazing. Thoroughly recommend. Service can be a tad bit slow sometimes because it’s so popular!

I don’t like writing negative comments but unfortunately last night my and me friend came for an Indian meal and we waited quite a while for our food, for it to finally arrive and then to my horror I found a hair in my Bombay aloo. I spoke to the man who said well it could be any of my guys you can take a look in the kitchen as they all have black hair. I think he was applying that I had put the hair there! He looked at it and threw it into the floor! Disgusting! I didn’t even get an apology, he did kindly remove the dish from the bill. However, he avoided our table for the rest of our evening and then we asked for the bill that took 35 minutes to come. Then as we were putting our coats on one of the chefs from the kitchen came out and guess what he had great hair! Then as we were walking out the door he said to us thank you for coming, we look forward to seeing you again. Sadly we WON’T be returning and it was not even worth it. I’ve had better Indian food elsewhere and shall be sticking to different places!! Terrible service!

6 of us have just been here for a birthday and I would fully without doubt fully recommend it has really attentive staff. The food was amazing and had different options to normal curry houses. The decor was fresh and new. I'm definitely going back. X

What an experience! We came here last night, had probably one of the best curry experiences ever! I ordered the Mr Naga, it arrived in a black ceramic dish with unlimited flavour and perfectly balanced with the heat that you’d expect! Can’t wait to come back again! The staff were brilliant without pestering you to free up a table! Thank you

We visited yesterday evening. I must say the standard of food as dropped massively, especially with the Starter options. We ordered the usual poppadoms and chutneys. The chutneys in the tray, brought to us, barely covered the base of the dish, such a small amount given, obviously hoping you would order more!! We ordered Onion Bhaji. Let me tell you i dont think there was an onion used in the manufacturing process. They were small balls of fried paste. Not offensive to eat, but certainly not onion based. Now going on to the Nan bread , this resembled manufactured mass produced pizza bases !! I must say we felt cheated, and sad that the management have decided to cut corners this way. My message to the management " You have so much competition. At the moment you are full, but you won't continue to be, your regulars will stop returning. Im sorry I wont be visiting again.. Having said all of these negative points I feel I must finish on a positive note, all three currys we ordered were exceptional and couldnt be faulted. ** Please you need to go back to what you were, before its too late **

I have to say its a great restaurant and always accommodating, lovey place, tidy and I didn't use the toilet facilities so no comment. Popadoms are a great start the dips were too posh for me, its a shame we didn't get offered the good old tray of four which everyone loves and we had to have it refilled because there just wasn't enough to serve two. First pint was a bit odd but soon sorted so no issues really just went for a standard not special beer. Food was cracking, really nicely presented, both hot as we like and plenty of it so very nice, nans were nans, some kanas are really nice, nothing to complain about but they were just nans 🤷 The crowd of customers really didn't go down well but not their fault, kids playing musical chairs and adults not respecting the restaurant. On the whole, we will return and try and get the extra star, they deserve it just not on that night.

We love this restaurant! Vegans need to know just how amazing their menu is and never have I known a restaurant with such consistently excellent service and food. We’ve never had a bad experience here and we have eaten in and had take away delivered many times. Bravo Cinnamon! Don’t ever change!

Food was fantastic, but service was slow as only one person was waiting on several tables. Carpet on stairs was sticky and worn, service was included on the bill but not clear on the menu. We paid over the amount of the bill but had to ask for our change!!! Didn't get any mints with the bill👎

Unfortunately we had a poor experience at Cinnamon last night. I have been a few times and it had been one of my favourite restaurants but it seems to have lost its charm. The service was very poor. We waited over an hour for food without any explanation for the delay or offer of a gesture for the wait. It’s wasn’t that busy so I’m not sure of the reason but nobody was served in the restaurant for quite some time. The table next to us must have been waiting almost 2hrs and they were only served when we finished. We didn’t get asked whether we would like another drink in the whole time so only had one drink because it was impossible to get any waiting staff attention. The atmosphere was poor too as nobody seems particularly happy to be sat around waiting. The toilets are extremely poor and in desperate need of an upgrade. The food is good but again it wasn't the same standard as it once was. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be returning.

I decided to try this place after recently moving to the area for work . The owner comes into my place of work frequently & is a very friendly guy . Me & my partner really enjoyed what we both ordered & all the staff were great. Overall very good dining experience

Absolutely hands down the best vegan Indian we have ever had. Visited on recommendation from several different family and friends so we knew it must be good. Only downside was the restaurant was quite dark which is unlikely an issue later in the day but as we attended while it was still daytime it was an odd atmosphere sitting in the dark when you can see it's still light outside 😅 however it in no way impacted our enjoyment of the meal. Owner mentioned at the time that he intends to keep updating and switching the menu, including the large vegan offering, to keep things fresh. We look forward to visiting many more times in the future to try all the new food options.

We booked a table for 19:30 on a Saturday evening. We were kept waiting in the foyer until 19:55, when we were finally shown to our table. The seating was on cushions on benches around a large, but very cramped table. We got served drinks after about 20 minutes and food after an hour. The restaurant was very busy and very noisy, not helped by 'background music'' that was too loud. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant enough, just rushed off their feet and the food was very good. Overall though, it wasn't great and we wouldn't go back

Service and food was great. Staff attentive. The building though is way too small. Everyone around us seemed to have the flambé dishes which became a choking hazard and was extremely uncomfortable

4 of us ate there last night. We ate quite early so wasn’t too busy. Fantastic food, soft bhajis, tasty sag aloo, madras was really flavoursome and all of the lamb was tender. I eat in a lot of Indian restaurants and this was one of the best currys i have had for a while. All 4 of us really enjoyed our meals. Will return 100%.

Went last Friday - a new feel to the place - almost burlesque. As always the staff, service and food were great and the six of us were looked after very well.

Honestly hands down THE BEST takeaway and takeaway experience we’ve ever had. Me and my boyfriend are vegetarian and vegan and they have so many amazing options. Not just vegetable curries, they have fake meat alternatives too and do a Vegan keema naan which tasted exactly how I remember meat ones tasting before I went vegan. When we got home from collecting we noticed we hadn’t received one of our portions of rice. After being in the restaurant and seeing how busy it was (shows how good is it), I must admit I wasn’t too hopeful about getting the portion/refund or even getting an answer if we called. However, when we called, we received an instant answer and was told they’d send someone straight away with our rice and with a few extras for the inconvenience. We tried to say no it’s too much hassle but they insisted. It arrived within 15 minutes so we could still enjoy all our meal as well as the 2 extra side dishes they added. Writing this has now made me hungry for their food. It was just so so goood!

A friend and I went to get a late dinner, when we got there it was very busy but the all of the staff were still so lovely and didn’t let any of the stress affect their customer service. They were really nice and polite and were honest about waiting time, and suggested we get the order delivered instead of having to wait. Really lovely people

Food needs a bit more attention

Have visited twice now, once mid week and once on Saturday. Both experiences were great but very different. As expected, Saturday was much busier so it was quite loud but for a Saturday night I find that all part of the atmosphere. Staff are so friendly and fun and go out of their way to give you a great service. We hadn’t booked but they made sure to find us a table (there were only 2 of us so easier), even though they were clearly very busy and fully booked. Great selection on the menu and food was really good, however a table near by ordered a sizzler which was very smoky for a small space so make sure you cover your mouths if you hear one coming to stop any coughing. Overall, good atmosphere, lovely staff and great food.

Disappointed. Food cold on collection despite being told the staff would call if it was ready early and i arrived 5 minutes earlier than the 45 minutes I was told it would be ready. Pickles with the popadoms missing and veg samosas very small. Phoned to check the order after collection, was told manager would call back but they never did. Won’t be returning.

Ordered one curry, chips, veg samosas, poppadoms & pickles. Pickles weren’t in the bag just a pot of mango chutney, receipt never given so who knows what we paid £20 for. When we collected it was cold (we live less than 5m drive away). Samosas were tiny! Gave them the opportunity to fix it by phoning and saying they’ve missed the pickles and the food is cold and their response was ‘you can come back and buy some pickles if you want’ and ‘sorry I can’t do anything I’ll get a manager to phone you to resolve’ did a manger phone? No they did not. Avoid this place, we get it sometimes you’re busy and things get left on the side or things get missed out but when given the opportunity to fix it you expect us to drive back to now buy new pickles that we already ordered and paid for, and don’t bother to ring back. Poor customer service there is no excuse!

Amazing vegan poppadoms, the mint stuff they had with them blew me away, the tempeh tikka starter was beyond first rate, best I've had since becoming vegan, and a main, mixed grill, en route, this is already my fave restaurant from the stuff so far, and trans friendly as heck. ❤️ Had the mixed grill, bit sacrilegious for a bangledeshi, but this vegan grill will make carnivorous folk jealous, it was better than a first class. Experience

Bit cramped at the table. Waiter forgot our drinks order and they don't serve dessert. Three of the curries we had were lovely but one was so red and full of coconut it was like eating a very grainy custard so although we will go back we won't be ordering that particular dish . The staff were friendly and the toilet facilities were clean and tidy

My wife and I visited for a sit-down dinner during a weekend away in Bristol/Bath. We'd picked this place specifically because of its vegan takes on Bangladeshi and BIR dishes, which is a first! It was so nice to be able to get a dairy-free naan! We hadn't booked a table but were glad to be seated quickly despite it being a busy Saturday night. The restaurant is quite unassuming, from the outside, and a nice place- to-be on the inside. It's quite cosy, and a little loud, but it didn't really bother us. Service was great. Plenty of smiles, and staff checking to see everything was good. The food exceeded expectations. We had veg bora, veg shingara, veg puree rolls, meatless kofta shredded ginger (curry), and meatless keema and ginger naan. Between the two of us, it was the perfect amount, and all of it was unreal. No compromises with the vegan options (and this is coming from a meat/fish eater). The final bill was very reasonable. All in all, I think this is a great progression of the traditional BIR establishments. Moving with the times/demand will help keep BIR alive in a time where it's slowly (unfortunately dying down). I've no doubt that the meat and fish dishes will be equally as good, and would happily return any time I'm in the area.

Very very busy! Went on a Saturday night so we expected it, we had a table booked. The food was delicious and the service was very fun and friendly. Due to it being quite small it was very loud but great if you're going out with a group of friends before a few drinks. Really enjoyed the food, plenty to choose from!

I can honestly say it was very possibly the nicest food I have had the pleasure of eating. The first taste of their coconut rice was the start of what can only be described as an epiphany for my taste buds. Heaven on a plate! Will definitely be going back!

Cinnamon is the best Indian restaurant I've found with vegan options and vegan naan! Love the food so much, but I do find the restaurant itself quite claustrophobic and overwhelming at times.

I was so looking forward to a curry after not having one for a little while. I’m a creature of habit and always have a Dhansak. Well this was unlike any Dhansak that I’ve ever been given. It was bland, extremely tomato tasting and no heat, as in flavoursome chillis in it at all. Extremely disappointing. I won’t be back. And to make it worse, it was one of the most expensive curries I’ve had in a Kong time too!

Be prepared to wait for a good 3 hours delivery and when you call them they tell you its on its way I called three times . It was ordered 5.15 pm and was told it would be under 1 hour it arrived 8.pm !!!!!!!

Ordered take away wasn't pleased with the food the amount of grease/ oil was unbleavable a good chef would have taken out the excess oil I know we came on a Thursday but there should be no excuses for giving a terrible meal it was full of onions to probably mask off gone off food! Won't be coming back here in a hurry for a curry!

We went here for my daughter’s birthday. I dropped of her cake and balloons as a surprise for her. All well until our food arrived and it was down hill from there. The popadoms and pickles arrived missing some that were listed in the menu. Then the mains, I had a patia, it was very red, no tomatoes and no heat at all. This is advertised as hot in the menu and should be as I have it a lot from other places it also tasted VERY sour and chemically nothing else. I spoke to the manager who tried to convince me it’s about flavour not heat!? In fact he was speaking to me as thought I had no idea and quite condescending. I also had Bombay potatoes which was made with new pots with their skins on, no flavour at all so if you know your curry’s DONT GO HERE! It’s full of additives and colouring with weird flavours! None of the rest of my party eat there meals. My curry was knocked of the bill we were all disappointed with the short cuts they used. An absolute disgrace to Indian food. Also we were seated by the kitchen and had to endure music from the kitchen and different in the restaurant and a lot of fumes from the kitchen which set my sister in laws asthma off we had to make a quick exit, couldn’t wait to get out! And forgot to ask for the cake. Daughter returned day after to be told they threw it away!! Eat it more like. If you know your Indian food STAY AWAY NOTHING BUT ADDITIVES, RED COLOURING AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

10 out of 10 best curry I've had, with an extensive menu both meat and vegan that is easy to navigate and Has a straight forward chilli heat guide, so you won't get caught out with something you may not be able to handle. I had a lamb dish off the chef's special and it was amazing the depth of flavour was a joy and at a medium heat( 2🌶️🌶️) it was hot but was a good heat and made it even more enjoyable. Really welcoming,polite and cheerful staff that added to the evening as well as a smart and well presented premises. Will definitely be back soon, well done guy's and thanks for a great evening.

It's disappointing to write this. Recently ordered from Cinnamon. I'm afraid to state that the quality of the products delivered were really poor. Firstly, the coconut rice was just boiled rice covered in a thick layer of dessicated coconut and was quite simply abominable. Impressively, having rung back the manager arranged to have a replacement quickly sent. However, the main meals were, when we finally ate, in my opinion, poorly made, flavoured gravy that looked sloppy and drowned in oil. From my discussion with the manager about the coconut rice I assumed that his implied declaration regarding things not being right in the kitchen was causal for this less than enjoyable experience; and an expensive takeaway being rejected and binned by ourselves. I'll stick with Tandoori Garden!

I had a good first experience here but it went down from there. My second experience I received my order with aloo missing so they had to go back and get it which made the whole meal cold by the time she was back. The third time I ordered madras and received masala, which I knew if I had called up they would change it but at that point I just thrown in the towel with this place and I'll knock it on the head. Won't be coming back.
