We travelled 3 hours from Chichester ( and 3 hours back) to visit the cheese factory followed by cheese tasting and lunch. Absolutely delightful place, very welcoming and very well run. A pleasure to support such amazing "family" business surrounding by highly motivational and passionate staff. The tour was very informative (manager was very passionate, with a very nice sense of humour and not rushing the tour, ) the tasting very nice and the lunch delicious ( again the restaurant manager was equally charming, addressing all our needs and nothing was too much. An experience to be repeated and that we highly recommend. ( even the cows and calves were gorgeous !!)

We had a brilliant day out at the farm open day on June 9th. My grandson was so excited about seeing all the farm machinery particularly the Combine Harvester.Ideal for all Tractor Ted fans. Great music, picnic bags, tractor and donkey rides so much to see and do. 5 star day thanks

Lovely place and beautiful surroundings, however as they refuse to take cash any more we left empty handed ,Its such a shame really as I feel people should have the choice to pay with cash or card.

The food was ok. The pork and apple sauce bap tasted very cheesy. Service from waitresses was very poor. Each time they came to our table, it was like they couldn't get away any quicker. So we had to call them back to ask for things like condiments and extra cutlery for our children. And then I noticed that there was a service charge automatically added to our bill. Very presumptuous. Would have preferred to be asked to add this on and for it to be a rewarded for good service. Having it added on I feel controbut d to staff feeling complacent with the service they gave. No check back. Few smiles. Let down the venue in my eyes. Came here to enjoy some time with the family and friends, but left this venue feeling a bit underwhelmed.

A nice farm and cute little shop however the food is very overpriced with below average quality. The croque monsieur had overly salted ham, very little cheese and was and apart from the salt. Be aware as well that although the cream tea gives you two scones, the cheese scone cream tea gives you one very small scone for the same price.

My wife and I have been visiting The Cheese Cafe in Kelston most Saturday mornings for the past couple of years. The food is always fantastic, Matt and all the staff are brilliant, Also there are some brilliant walks and trail runs in the area and a good size car park. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit, and really enjoyed my breakfast. My only slight negative would be that no one came to ask if we’d like more drinks, they’re missing an opportunity there!

We come here regularly and it's great.....usually but today was such a disappointment. We'd booked a table as normal but this time (for the 1st time) we were seated upstairs. I was little surprised but thought let's give it a go. It was clearly an area to host the 'overflow' from the usually lovely environment downstairs. Completely lacked ambience and smelt 'unusual'. No lovely outside view and it's fair to say we felt unnoticed and unimportant. We left without anybody noticing - no goodbyes. Just to be clear, Bath Soft Cheese is somewhere we normally love to come, so chances are if you come here you'll have a wonderful time. But be warned..............don't sit upstairs!

Lovely setting and really lovely food. Would thoroughly recommend. It was lovely to see it so busy and clearly a firm favourite of many locals. We didn't have it, but the afternoon tea on the next table looked really good and has tempted us to go back to try it out! Our "tart of the day" was very tasty and accompanied by a fresh salad and hit the spot well!

Staff ( the one that served us) not great when placing our order asked for eggs to be turned over only to receive not turned so had to be sent back, digital payment only when questioned this was told there were signs all around, went through the shop and no signs, no signs on the door either. Service charge included in hindsight should have taken that payment off. Still lesson learnt, will take our cash somewhere else.

We have been walking from Saltford to Kelston, calling in at the Cheese shop cafe for many years, and having the occasional brunch and lunch. Recently we stopped for lunch and had a great time, chatting to the very friendly staff and enjoying a lovely meal. Although it is a regular haunt of ours I thought it would be nice to show some appreciation of the continual high standards of attention and service the staff provide.

After hearing many reviews from friends I decided to go check the place out. I was advised to call in advance if I wanted one of the small outdoor sheds based in the farm as these become very booked up. I booked with two days notice for a brunch date. On arrival there’s a huge amount of parking, a small play park and toilets, then you find the cheese shop and cafe. Staff were wonderful, extremely polite and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble for the whole 3 hrs of my extended stay. After enjoying a steaming hot cup of English breakfast tea, I went on to enjoy the French toast with bacon, syrup and blueberries. This was priced at 9.50… for a single slice of French toast, two slices of smoked bacon and 3 blueberries I did feel this was extremely expensive and I dread to think of the profit margin. As a customer this did leave a sour taste in my mouth. I then got to try there delicious cola with chocolate cherry cheesecake and a raspberry cheesecake , all very delicious. This is a great place maybe for the occasional family treat and apart from the inflated cost of the French toast brunch I would recommend Bath soft cheese to all.

I recently visited the Bath Soft Cheese Company, and it's a lovely spot for a light lunch! They offer a great selection of cheeses, savory snacks, and sandwiches that are perfect for a casual meal. The service was not only good but also friendly, which added to the positive experience. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which had a nice vibe and created a relaxed atmosphere. My personal favorites were the toasty and sausage rolls. While my wife loved the cheese board, we both felt it could have been a bit bigger with a few more options. All in all, the Bath Soft Cheese Company is definitely worth a visit, and we'll be returning for sure! 🧀🥪🍽️

I would very much recommend this farm Café .Friendly and relaxed staff and the setting could not be better for me, set in my favorite area of countryside. I had the ploughman’s from the lunch menu, which included they’re own made cheeses. It was all very tasty, a lovely balanced pallet of flavours . An overall positive experience!

If you have never been here before, you have to visit. It is the best. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch. The customer service that my team have experienced is second to none. It’s like the sort that excels in every way. The cheese shop is also excellent. Cheese tasting is a must! The staff are so polite and industrious. They all have excellent manners and are very friendly who know their onions. They don’t just talk the talk, they walk it too. If you’re reading this review, you have to go and visit. You will not be disappointed !!!! 😁😁😁🧀🥚

Very disappointing today. Have been many times before but the salad was not the usual mix but a couple of pieces of curried cauliflower and a few boring salad leaves. The baked soft cheese was nice but the menu said that it would be accompanied by rosemary ciabatta. I queried the rosemary ciabatta, as they tasted and looked like crostini bites. I was told that it was ciabatta that had been baked in the oven. The selection of cakes was poor, too. Maybe the chef was not there today. A very disappointing visit as we were celebrating two family birthdays. We didn’t stay for the usual milkshakes for the children, as the meals were not up to scratch.

Like the cafe very much and have taken several friends there. Will no longer use it though, as they no longer accept cash as legal tender. This policy demonstrates prejudice/ exclusivity against a sector of the public and most definitely is NOT the way forward.

I visit Picnic Coffee every week for the delicious coffee and lemon drizzle cake. However, the staff just bring my order to the table and walk away without a word or a glance at me. Where are the staff other reviewers praise so highly?
