The fairest thing I can say about the food in this place is that it's ok. The staff were helpful enough and polite. I'm not really sure I get all the old garden ornaments everywhere, although I did have fun seeing if the jardaneir was going to fall everytime the waitress passed it. Any how on to the food. It wasn't the best pizza and by no means the worse. It was a very well made think dough, and a very good quality mozzarella. However my disappointment came with the tomato sauce, it was fairly tasteless. I had to add Tabasco to get some flavour from it. Secondly, the new cross pizza was listed as four cheeses. Well it has mozzarella and a pitiful amount of mascarpone and the Parmesan was like tracing paper. I feel that paying the extra was a complete rip off. I wish I saved the £4 and just got a margherita as the amount of cheese it came with certainly did not match the price. My last complaint is one I have a out many places - please stop letting dogs in your restaurant. I don't want a hairy panting stinky dog next to me as I eat.

One of the worst experiences for a long time. The pub was cold, and, although I had booked a table for lunch weeks before they told me I could only have a snack as they were not serving lunch. Then they couldn’t even offer us some of the things on the snack menu. It was expensive and lacklustre. The conservatory was not heated. Such a shame as this pub was one of my favourites but we won’t go again.

My Birthday Surprise. 14 family members from 7 to me at 70. Food was fantastic I had the Salmon Mediterraneo, the Steak was Lush I am told and the Pasta was pretty good as well, the children of course thrilled to have Pizza and chips. The staff were amazing and attended at a pace that left us all time to relax and enjoy the evening. Would highly recommend

Stayed here for one night lovely little pub rooms very nice and cosy unfortunately couldn’t watch tv as there wasn’t a remote and couldn’t use the shower as the button was missing of it which definitely would of been noticed on cleaning … the carpet in stairs were quite dirty and the people I didn’t find very welcoming sadly

This is our “go to” Nepalese Restaurant.- and arguably the finest in the South West Padam and his wonderful team NEVER let us down - the food quality is exceptional as is the service. Thursdays evenings are brilliant with Padam serving their buffet night - which means that you choose (from the normal menu) a Starter, Main Course, Side Dish, choice of Naan Bread for an amazing £16:95! Try it - you won’t be disappointed…. Thanks Padam

We have just returned from a fabulous short family break. This hotel ticked all of our boxes. The building is and grounds are beautiful, the family room was perfect. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the facilities were perfect for the whole family. We will be returning soon.

A beautiful spot, in a perfect location! Wonderful service thanks to Arbias. The food was incredible, I went for two tapas dishes and they were huge! =) Great decor, and the function room above looked amazing too! Recommemd for an intimate dinner or a girls brunch!

We walked through the village into this cosy, charming pub. We'd phoned an hour earlier, and could only get a table for 6pm as it was fully booked on a Tuesday evening. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a good table, so could look out at the pub and it's characterful decor. The pies were superb. I had chicken and mushroom. The icecream dessert was excellent.
